Debbie and Amanda both have a passion and talent for Pilates and running a well programmed and engaging Pilates class. There are so many other great trainers there but these two in particular always give me a challenging and interesting workout. I come from a background of weightlifting and CrossFit so I thought Pilates was going to be too easy, but I’ve been proven wrong, especially in Amanda’s classes. The best part about Pilates is that it’s low impact and core focused which has helped me continue to build muscle and stay in shape despite my injuries. I love it and I hope this review helps someone who is thinking about trying Pilates!“

Not giving a 5 out of 5 because the weights need to be re-racked after use more. Some of the patrons like to leave them wherever they used them. Poor gym edicate. Guess it's a pet peeve of mine having cleaned a gym on weekends as a teenager. Its just good courtesy for your fellow gym mates.“

“Nice, small studio that has everything you need for a class. Its size gives you a rather intimate experience.... sometimes hard to believe you're doing a Bikram style class.The classes are never full so there's always room for your mat and no one is blocking you. There are 2 showers for females so that adds to the convenience.“

Like seriously, the owner and instructors at this place have to be some of the most welcoming and nicest bunch of people that I’ve ever met.I tried their free 3-day yoga pass and enjoyed it. However, I will say that this studio places (or seems to place) a heavy emphasis on spirituality vs. yoga as a form of exercise/fitness. As someone who’s loosely spiritually, at most, it was a nice thing to experience, but was a bit too much for me personally. So if you’re like me, and enjoy meditative practice in your yoga sessions but want the focus to be on fitness/balances/cardio, this might not be for you either. I also found myself wishing that they had more class offerings throughout the week, but they are a small privately owned studio, so I get it. Overall, I would very much recommend this place to anyone looking to really incorporate their inner spirituality into their yoga practice. Namaste!“

This yoga studio, wherever you access it, has a wonderful vibe. Teachers are challenging and nurturing to the whole you! They give great verbal cues during class as well as lots of cool ideas to take with you throughout your day. I've had the benefit of taking classes @ Sun&Moon for 8 years. It's a community that is open and welcoming to all. See you on the mat!“

From the start, Hector (personal training manager) made me feel at ease during my assessment. He really listened to my goals, considered my personality, and thoughtfully matched me with a trainer who would be the best fit. I’m a few months into my personal training and he’s continued to check in, which shows how much he genuinely cares about clients’ comfort and progress.
I was paired with Daniel, and I couldn’t be happier. He makes every session fun with his great sense of humor while still pushing me to improve. His knowledge and expertise are obvious — he’s always ready to answer my questions and provide helpful insight. Daniel is also incredibly professional, always prepared and on time for our sessions. Thanks to him, I feel more confident in the gym and I actually enjoy coming to workouts (even if I complain along the way ?).

“Wheelhouse Pilates provides these wonderful HEALing Yoga classes that I greatly look forward to. Tamara teaches practice with grace, wisdom, energy, and of course humour because let’s not take ourselves too seriously. This is enhanced by the friendly small group setting, meaning that you receive so much more instruction (and assists!) in a single class than otherwise. We also might be completely ridiculous from time to time.
Tamara also has this fantastic ability to work with specific needs (e.g. my hip replacement) and to weave appropriate progressions into the classes during the week, then week over week. I have seen tremendous growth in my Yoga practice as a direct result. It is special. She will make _you_ feel special.
The Yoga class is for up to six people, not heated and for all ability levels. You get out what you put in, both physically and mentally. I enjoyed it so much that I’m now also enthusiastically on a Pilates journey and recompiling my body’s algorithms with how to move properly. I drive over 20 minutes to get to this location but it’s absolutely worth it.
The location is surrounded by some excellent eating and libations in Clifton, should you wish to reward your magnificence afterwards. You’re worth it.“
