“Had a leak in iron gas pipe riser outside of house. I called a local Plano Plumber and his quote to replace an 8 inch section of 1 inch black iron pipe was extremely high. Did another search on Google and ran across a Reddit thread that said that Evolution Plumbing was great and very reasonable. I called Evolution Plumbing and got a quote over the phone which was very reasonable. A Evolution plumber named Jason came to replace the pipe the same day. Jason was super friendly and did an excellent job on the repair.

“Jack came out today to do a water leak test, a same day service call. Great start for me. He diagnosed the problem in less than 5 minutes. Talk about knowing stuff!!!! After checking the meter, he already had the diagnosis before ringing the door bell. We've been paying astronomical Plano Water utility bills for months and had no visible signs of water leaks anywhere, inside or out, but Jack discovered the problem to be an irrigation line somewhere. He does not do irrigation repairs, but was kind to offer a referral card for someone who does. With the irrigation valve off, my meter has stopped moving and his free evaluation was an extra nice surprise. I found him on google search and am glad he's the one I called. I’ve had military plumbing handle quite a few jobs in the past and they were wonderful. I had a recent water leak in my front yard and brought them out again to service it, but they let me know that the leak came from the irrigation system instead. They originally had overcharged me on the work they did, especially because they couldn’t solve the issue. After I talked with Rowdy, he was able to help get everything sorted out and landed on a fair price on the work instead.“
