Another gentleman came out on another day with a camera, never contacted us or notified us that he was there. After calling the office again, due to the fact that we still have problems. Ray came out and snaked the line. Ray was apologetic for the previous tech. Ray saved the day, because if he didn't come out and acted professional and got the job done we would have gone somewhere else. Apex, you better appreciate the great employee you have in Ray.“

“Last night was a virtual meltdown at our house. During laundry the pipes started overflowing in our basement. It was 6:00 pm so I went online and the only one that said open till 7 was Rooter Man. I called and Tammy was great handling my obvious panic and had Romero here in about 15 minutes.

“When our boiler stopped working we didn't have a company due to new ownership and the boiler was installed by the previous owner.
So I did a search and A. Johnson's site popped up. I went to their site, read all the reviews and called them.
Best decision I ever made!
When I called, Lisa took all my information and and scheduled a site visit for that day.
When Brian arrived he immediately started checking every component on our ancient boiler and advised us that it was time for major repairs and or replacement.
He took several photos of inner core and the amount of rust and the number of small holes were alarming.
The very next day Chris came and advised us of our options. There was no pressure or attempts to up-sell or add on things that weren't needed.
We settled on a replacement boiler and install was scheduled for four days later .
On install day Brandon, Ben, and Zach worked 9 hours on the removal of the old boiler and install of the new one. Because it was a high effort boiler it required a few extra things that the old didn't have.
They did an amazing job!
Removed the old boiler and all the packaging and the debris from the new boiler.
I would highly recommend A. Johnson for any new installs and repairs of current ones!

“Most plumbing shops in the capital region use what's called book time when they bid jobs. That's how you end up paying some guy $1,000 to change your toilet. Whites is one of the last shops that still does time and material and their labor rate is between 100 and $115 an hour. A lot of unlicensed plumbers are charging $150 to $200 an hour. I would highly suggest getting a second opinion from Dwight's before you have any Plumbing work done and make sure that your plumber is actually licensed In the area that you live, especially Albany. I see so many plumbing trucks that are lettered with a company name yet have passenger car license plates instead of commercial license plates.“

“Pete the plumber is a first rate plumber and a very honest one. He will not charge you for services you don't need. I had what I thought was a broken garbage disposal and a clogged drain. Pete came by very promptly and removed the clogs and this enabled the disposal to work and the drain to run smoothly. Another plumbing company had come by earlier and proceeded to tell me that I would need new pipes installed in my basement as well as a new garbage disposal. They wanted to charge me more than $4000 for services and pipe replacement that I didn't need. If you need a plumber check with Pete the Plumber first. He doesn't rip people off because he has integrity!“
