After losing a coach and not having as much motivation I kept looking for other gyms but working out at dream body was definitely it for me. It pushed me to change my scenery of what I was used to and was looking forward to book my classes! The trainers pushed me to keep going when I wanted to give up! Playlist is always on point which was something huge for me to keep going!
The manager Vale at Dream body is very sweet and made the process very easy! She brings such a light of joy to this atmosphere , she will come around while you doing the classes and keep motivating you to push through. And will keep you accountable for booking your classes!
Huge shoutout to Coach Letty for being an amazing trainer but also for making sure I always go heavy on the weights! Her support and dedication during class to help and support others to be a better version of themselves truly helps!
“Remember pain is only temporary” is something she will always say but that will always push me to just get it done because it will feel great after!
All trainers here are the best at what they do and will help you reach your goals! They will push you through the workouts , on correcting your form, and making sure you get your protein calories in while eating healthy with their meal plan and remind you to stay consistent and to keep coming in and showing up for yourself !“

Nubreed martial arts is the best place iv ever been to train. I came back after a two years and it seems to have gotten even better if you can belive it. Everyone from the students,to the sifus are super nice and helpful. Everyone their is their to train get in shape and just have a great time. The sifus are amazing the are very knowledgeable about every art in nubreed and always looking to help their students. The teachers are awesome always alot of energy to give a great class. Word to the wise if you are looking for a place to just goof off and think you are going to learn how to just beat people up nubreed is probably not for you. They have rules that you need to follow from the uniform to how your treat the other students its about respect discipline and having a great time learning. So if you toook the time to read this then you should call up set up a trial class and i look forward to working with you cause once you come you will be begging for more.“

His approach to fitness and nutrition is straightforward, and he's so knowledgeable in both areas! Both Dan and Erica are amazing and really know what you need to help you reach your goals!“

They are both great guys, always encouraging, but also demanding in taking me through my workout. Because I travel a lot, they have also given me exercises I can do on the road, which has been helpful in allowing me to maintain my routine. I highly recommend them.“

Very welcoming and CLEAN environment, much better than a lot of other big box gyms that I've belonged to in the past. It's unique because all of their services are a la carte so if you're just into working with your own personal trainer, or you just need a great local gym to stop in and do your own workout routine on your schedule, you can without a problem! Also, I am 100% addicted to the smoothie bar. Their protein smoothies are refreshing after a workout or any time really when you want a cold treat that feels like you're being bad... but you're not!!!“

You meet first Jeff, the kind and decent human being before you meet Jeff, the sculpted trainer. He motivates you with a courteous firmness to strive towards your fitness goal. He keeps himself informed in health and fitness so he can impart the most tailored advice specific for you. Moreover, his fees are very reasonable. He offers two for one packages for couples and training buddies. This not only helps offset the cost, but it provides motivation for you to be more consistent when you have a training partner to go to the gym with you.
The other trainers at the gym reflect Jeff's courtesy and decency even if they have their own personality and training style. But in sum, we have no regrets about joining Maceus Studios. Thanks to Jeff and Maceus Studios, we have become more consistently health and fitness conscious.“

Dean and his team of trainers genuinely care about their clients’ fitness goals and success, providing personalized workouts with knowledgeable guidance beneficial to people just starting out on their fitness journey or even for the sophisticated athlete.
The gym has personal training and group fitness clases (Functional Strength training, HIIT, and Boxing). I have tried all and can affirm that they are lead by experienced instructors who are engaging and fun.
I have tried several gyms in the Astoria/LIC area and I have now been attending Dean of The Game for a period of 6 months for personal training and group clases and continuing to attend sessions at DoTG has undoubtedly been the best decision I’ve made for my health. I highly recommend it to all my friends and family.
The standout of the gym is Dean and his staff of trainers. Dean and his trainers are knowledgeable, welcoming, and caring. From the first moment I walked in, Dean and his team made sure to greet me with a smile, listen to my goals, give recommendations, and make me feel comfortable while pushing me to achieve the best from each session. They emphasized the importance of the connection between trainer and client to achieving your fitness goals. It was imperative for both to feel confident and comfortable. This was refreshing and encouraging; something I did not find at any other gym in the area.
The group workouts and boxing classes are never the same and the trainers are constantly checking in to make sure you are OK but also pushing you to achieve the most from your sessions.
The facility is also constantly evolving. Dean and the team take pride in the having functional and modern equipment at the gym for every fitness activity. This is a testament in their active investment in their clients’ success.
Overall, I highly recommend Dean of The Game to anyone looking to achieve their fitness goals through a group fitness session, boxing or personal training.“

“I trained with Ira Frank at Atlantis for over 20 years until I recently moved out of state. Ira is a consummate professional and took the time to research, design and implement a training program to address my specific goals and needs. Whenever I had an injury (from other activities of course; e.g., figure skating, bicycling, hiking), Ira would tailor my sessions to aid in recovery and based upon the program of the physical therapist. He even attended one PT session with me (above and beyond!). I credit Ira's training with allowing me to do such extreme activities as hiking the Inca Trail in Peru, the Tiger's Nest in Bhutan, the Alps, etc., well into my 50's. Knowing I get bored easily Ira worked so hard to make every session interesting - constantly adding and changing the exercises. I looked forward to each session as the highlight of my week. I was so sad to leave Ira when I moved. It took some time but I finally found a trainer in my new state who works in a similar manner (he's respectful of and receptive to what I was used to at Atlantis - the very best!). As I am getting older and encountering various common health issues, I can't emphasize how important it is to work with a professional like Ira Frank. I fractured my femur in June. I credit all those years with Ira for allowing me to recuperate quickly and climb temples and Buddha statues in southeast Asia in December! I will always be grateful to Ira Frank and Atlantis for helping me to live life to the fullest.“

The gym provides a safe, friendly atmosphere and it is amazing what a great workout you get in one hour! Students range from 16 to 60, men and women.I had worked out in other ways over the years but had never done kickboxing before. It is definitely challenging at first but in 2-3 weeks, you get in the groove for both the conditioning and the kick-boxing parts. And it's way more fun than programs like Orange Theory or just lifting weights.I highly recommend Strong Martial Arts. It really is a great workout option for all skill levels.“

Also he's just a super friendly guy that grew up in the neighborhood; I'd consider him to be a friend as well as my trainer.“
