We started coming here towards the end of our French bulldog’s life, but they definitely saved him more than once and provided medication and guidance on specialists to improve the quality of his remaining days as well. When he passed away (peacefully at home), we had him cremated with them and they provided us with the cutest little paw print keepsake. I saw our vet (Dr. V) on the streets weeks after his passing and she recognized me right away and hugged me for what seemed like forever while I sobbed over our loss.Dr. V and the entire team at Greenpoint Vets are top notch. “It is VERY hard to get an appointment unless you call right when they open at 8am. We were able to & after a scheduled check up & blood work done, had a dental surgery set for my Chihuahua. They did a great job & Dr Relman personally called & kept us up to date with the procedure before & after as well as the after care. Staff was very friendly as well.“

“Dr. Pietrzyk and her staff are so kind and empathetic. They couldn't have been more gentle with my little cat, or caring to us, when we had to say goodbye. Euthanasia is always emotional, but they made us all feel so cared for, and supported. Dr. Pietrzyk explained everything so thoroughly, and gave us as much time as we needed before and after. I had never been to this practice before, but their kindness and compassion didn't make it feel that way at all. We have spent the last year bringing our cat to various Edgewater animal hospitals.- Dr. Friedman our former 25 year veterinarian doctor is sadly no longer practicing in Edgewater.What I paid to have a Hazelnut size polyp removed from my cat’s Nasal/Throat passage cost far less than the multiple appointments that wrongly diagnosed our cat with an upper respiratory issue on four separate occasions.-Dr Jay Buchholz was able to immediately diagnosis and scheduled surgery for Harry at Maywood Veterinary Clinic.“

“I have been going to Midtown Animal Hospital for about 20years. Dr. Suchanek is the only doctor I have taken my dogs to. He is a very compassionate and explains everything that my dogs needed to have done. Today I brought my senior Boston Terrier Leksand to have a wellness checkup. She was very nervous and Dr. Suchanek was able to calm her down and took his time to examine her. The vet Tec Patricio who has a very calm approach to assisting the Doctor was able to cut my dogs nails and draw blood. The receptionist are great and friendly and to all clients. If you’re looking for an excellent vet he is your go to guy.“

“Great care and wonderful staff! My dog is almost 7 y/o and has only been treated at BHVH since he was a puppy. BHVH has taken care of my dog’s common and not so common issues. My dog once swallowed a tennis ball whole. He also recently broke his toe. No matter the medical adventure with our dog, BHVH always provides fantastic costumer service and thorough medical care. They patiently explain procedures and medication. They also provide helpful recommendations re care. We moved neighborhoods and continue to choose a 40 minute Uber (each way), over bringing our dog to a different vet.“
