Rivergate Veterinary Clinic is a full-service pet hospital that has provided comprehensive medical services for cats and dogs since 1989. From preventive care and pet dental care to internal medicine and veterinary surgery, their wide range of services can meet all of a pet's health needs in one place.
Over the years, the clinic has earned a strong reputation for quality, professional care with a compassionate touch. Whether clients are bringing in their pets for the first time or have relied on the veterinary staff for years, pets are treated as if they were their own.
Many clients appreciate the reasonable pricing, with one noting that teeth cleaning costs $500, compared to $1200 at a previous vet. The veterinarians, including Dr. Kavanaugh, Dr. Kaminski, and Dr. Kross, are described as kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable, going above and beyond to provide exceptional care. The front desk staff, including Kim, Alex, and Leo, are praised for their helpfulness and dedication to accommodating patients promptly.
Rivergate Veterinary Clinic is highly recommended for its excellent service and caring professionals, who are attentive to the unique needs of different breeds, including French Bulldogs. The clinic is noted for making vet experiences safer and less stressful for pets, such as those who may be fearful or aggressive, ensuring that all pets receive the best care possible.
We have been seeing Dr. Eve for the past three years with our cat Ziti and would recommend her to anyone! She is kind, thorough and very patient. She is also great with communication and will call personally to discuss test results and treatment plans. We feel so lucky to have found Rivergate and Dr. Eve!
This is the best vet in NYC. Dr. Kross and his team are exceptional and will do everything to provide the best service to your pet. We have been going for years and are so grateful for their help and kindness. A special mention to Leo for his fantastic service and knowledge in case you need travel documents for your pet. Thank you 🙏
Kind, honest, careful, straightforward.
My experience here was full of ease, organized, and just honestly left me feeling a great deal of comfort.
My neighbor recommended me to this doggie doctor to me, and it’s easy to see why. I feel so much better knowing that I found a great vet in NYC.
