“My sweet cat was not feeling well, and I just moved so I didn't know where to get really loving and supportive kitty care. I was also unable to take him in myself. My partner brought him in, and he was seen by Dr. Canales. I was on speakerphone as she discussed options, pricing, and follow up. Even though I couldn't be there, I felt so comforted and grateful that we chose this veterinary office. I am so pleased with her attention to detail, how kind and informative she is, and I'm grateful to have found the right place for both of my boys. I hope never to have an emergency situation again. I do look forward to continuing with follow up and preventative medical care.

“After months of trying to treat my cat’s strange breathing problems and more recent Horner’s syndrome, I took my cat here for an internal medicine consult with Dr. Ferreri and Alyssa. They were both deeply kind and courteous. They thoroughly examined and explained the existing documentation + considered all the possibilities given my boy’s medical history. Best yet, they explained the reasoning behind treatment decisions both past and present. I found this last bit very reassuring (in spite of my chronic worries as a pet parent). If you’re in doubt, don’t be!! This is definitely the place.“

“I recently moved from Ireland to New York with my 7 year old rescue Greyhound, Picasso. He doesn’t particularly love going to the vets and I needed to get him a vaccine. From the first email I sent to East Village Animal Clinic explaining how nervous and timid Picasso can be they put me at ease. Picasso has been to the clinic twice now for vaccinations and both times every single member of staff we’ve interacted with from the receptionists to the vet nurses to veterinarians have been so patient and friendly. Great clinic!“

“Gotham animal clinic is the best! They are so clear and detailed about the whole appointment and pricing, and they were so great with my cat. I’m a new cat owner and everyone was very kind and answered all of my questions. I really appreciate the care they showed me and my cat, highly recommend!! :)“

“Matt was incredible! Took care of our cat who needed some stitches and antibiotics after a run in with an AC unit. Matt was so kind and caring and talked us through everything. Thank you Matt!! The trip ended up being way more expensive than expected (like $900+), and I wish we had known a bit more about the pricing of the procedure beforehand. But at the end of the day our cat needed help and AMC was there for us. We also had a long wait (we were there for around 5 hours total) but that's because other animals had to be prioritized due to being in much worse condition. I'm so grateful for the team for helping our baby! I would trust this place again for emergency care, just be prepared for a large bill (minimum $300+ up front just to be seen). If you're reading this I hope your pet gets the care they need. ❤️“

“Doctor was very attentive and fit me in right away when my dog needed to get a growth removed and biopsied. The price was also so reasonable compared to other places I went to first. The vet also has seen my pet several times after to make sure they are healing properly. I will be going here for all of my pet needs.“

“Dr. Tufaro has been treating my pug since he was a wee puppy and recently diagnosed him with a splenic tumor and saved his life through surgery. Everyone who works here was so kind to my little guy. I used to live down the block from this vet which is why I started seeing them, and now I live in Brooklyn, but I will always take my pets here.“

“We had to remove teeth for our cat, she had strong dental tartar and her gums starts bleeding. ASPCA much more cheeper then other veterinary! Doctors and nurses are very kind and they are really love pets. They did a great job, and our cat now feels perfect. Firstly they told that our cat need to stay for a night, but then allow to take her in same evening. You may need couple of days to make an appointment. You must call at 8am. But definitely it's worth it. We have call at Thursday, and at Saturday we already visited hospital for first examination and at next Thursday we already had surgery.“

“Dr. Pietrzyk and her staff are the best vets in the tristate area! In early August, Myself and my 2 dogs moved to NYC from bucolic CT. One of my dogs has great anxiety and refused to go to the bathroom for a week. Dr. P reassured me that things would work out and they did with the help of Trazadone. Callie, a 12 year old Wheaten delivered black pigmentation on her back about a year ago. Other vets did not know what it was. I took her to Dr. P and within seconds she diagnosed the condition and started her on a medicine and cream to stop itching and cure pigmentation. Tribeca Ivy Pets are wonderful!!!!
