Katie, Ben and all the coaches have been so helpful with any modifications I need through whatever stage I’m in and I’m so grateful I could stay active during my pregnancy. Each instructor has their own flavor on how they run their class so it's nice to get some variety in terms of drills and skills. The fitness classes remind me a bit of high school sports (in a good way) where we are all being pushed to get stronger individually but are all in it together. Level 1 lessons harp on the fundamentals a lot so it can sound repetitive at times but I find something I can clean up in my form every lesson making every day on the mats worth it.“
“After nearly ten years in the Triangle we will be moving out shortly.The person I will miss the most is Lal Chand. He is a superior massage therapist. Over 40+ years of using massage to stay in the game I have not met anyone better than Lal. He is effective. He listens, he advises and he cares. He shares his experience outside the office to have a positive impact on client's situations.It will be a 500 mile commute but I may have to visit now and then!“

I've been training with him twice a week for two years, increasing my upper body strength substantially ( which is one goal), as well as improving my balance and flexibility. I had a serious hamstring(both)injury that he was able to assess, plan specific exercises around and aid in the healing and strengthening. I would definitely recommend Derrick to anyone of any age whether for strength training, weight loss or general overall health and healing. He also gives great advice on nutrition and hydration!“

I was so intimidated to give it a try since I’m kinda an introvert and feel way out of shape. It took me years to finally get the courage to go. I’m so glad I did. The staff always remember my name and make me feel supported the whole time. Everyone there is supportive and kind. There are people all ages and body shapes. It’s exactly the atmosphere I was looking for. I’ve been going for 3 weeks and already seeing differences in my body. I have more energy and happier. I would definitely go if you’re debating it. I started with their free week trial and got hooked.“

Cody assessed my condition and developed a really solid path to recovery. Training/rehab is tough so don't think it's going to be a cake walk when you join - they are SERIOUS about fitness. Though I have to admit the fitness challenges were fun to compete in on a side note. Parking is generous, location is super convenient, the facilities are uber clean and modern. Get it in!!!“

“I've been going to Kraken Fitness for 4 months now, and I've been really enjoying the group classes. Pricing is reasonable, and the class format changes every couple of weeks, so there's always variety (good for people who like to break the monotony once in a while). Michelle is always so energetic and encouraging, and is always ready for every class. I've always been super intimidated by working out at gyms, but this place is very welcoming and other people in class are always so nice. Highly recommend.“
