Yesterday was our first cleaning, and Brooke was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, professional, and got right to work. My old man (our dog) can be a bit boisterous when someone new comes into the house, and she handled his “loud old man energy” with so much patience and ease.

Miranda is the best! I booked a manicure before my trip home for Thanksgiving, and was visiting Ann Arbor from Chicago. My experience was better than any salon in the city, and for almost the entire two weeks since, my mani has looked good as new. The studio has a warm, cozy vibe, and it's very inviting. The products that Miranda uses are all natural and very soothing! She noticed my skin was sensitive, and she had just the balm to soothe my hands. She's very knowledgeable, and I loved chatting with her during my manicure. The personalized experience and intimate setting were a nice change of pace from busy nail salons. I just got a Dazzle Dry manicure at a different salon back in Chicago, and it's got me wishing I could go back to Ann Arbor and Mira Lee. Can't wait to visit next time I'm in A2, and I hope to try a facial next time!

My husband loves coming to him. Was very patient when there was a miscommunication between me and my husband (I didn’t know husband was at the barber, else I wouldn’t have called him lol), and he was very patient with my husband while husband talked to me real quick.

I’ve been going to Couth Grooming for 3 years. Griffin is an excellent barber and has amazing attention to detail. I went frequently for beard trims and haircuts. Griffin does very clean beard trims and I always left looking sharp. He takes him time with haircuts and we always end up striking a great conversation.
The only drawback is you will need to look for appointments atleast a month ahead (even sooner near graduation time) - he’s a popular barber ?.

I remember my times as a boy when dad and grandpa would walk me up to the local barber. He always had the latest Highlights magazine, popcorn and cokes. Same vibe here. Every visit reminds me of those times. Dad and gramps would've liked it here. You need to call ahead or go online and get in the queue. Walk-ins are welcome, of course; you will be waiting. For a reasonable $30 I had the sides tapered and trimmed the top. I have a half dozen cow licks to contend with, two extremely large ones. That doesn't phase these boys. The cuts always come out looking great and the banter in the shop is typically funny and careless. The best place to try out a new joke. I've seen Kyle and now Brian. Both were very professional and both excellent stylists. My next trip to this area will be right around trim time. Good for me. 03/25

It felt like even though some of us barely knew each other we had good conversations while we were there and when I left I felt like we knew a little bit more about each other. It was a good feeling and a great haircut. That’s why I drive in from Pinckney I get a good haircut and have a good time while I’m there.
I went for the first time today and had an excellent experience. I went in for a beard trim of my unruly beard and a clean up of my handlebar mustache, and have Ibrahim (apologies on the spelling of its wrong!).

Best design nail manicurists hands down in Ann Arbor, I have been trying to get designs done on my nails forever and got turned down because nobody around in competent enough or have the material to do the Japanese nails I desire. Highly recommend them to anyone who doesn't just want the plain color on their nails.

This was my very first time here and I can genuinely say its my favorite nail salon I've ever been to, if not just for how lovely the employees are.
THE PEOPLE- I can tell that everyone genuinely cares about their clients. There was an elderly woman sitting next to me and they made sure she was comfortable and went out of their way to help walk her to the sink to wash her hands and make sure she was okay, which I thought was very kind and considerate of them. I also have never laughed so hard while getting my nails done, while I am sure if you asked for a quiet service they'd be happy to provide there was no awkward silences and I was talking to my nail tech (Ty) the whole time and it felt like we had already been friends for years. Everyone in there is so incredibly kind and happy to talk and make you laugh, and are very receptive to feedback.
THE NAILS- I think the photos speak for themselves!! Ty gave me exactly the claws I asked for and even made suggestions to make my idea even better. I asked for a full set acrylic and Ty let me know that he does gel X and recommended it instead so that my natural nails could continue to grow healthy underneath. He paid close attention to my nails and put in the time to make sure my natural nails were cleaned up well before applying the Gel X. This man is skilled!! there is no glue on my skin, no polish anywhere it shouldn't be and the edges are smooth and sharp! I couldn't find anything to complain about even if I tried. Ty also kept me very informed the entire time, letting me know that cateye polish would be an extra charge. He also let me know that if I decided my nails were too long in a couple days I could come back in and he would shorten them for me, which is awesome! I love my nails very much and will absolutely be back in.
THE PRICE- absolutely incredible!! I got long gel X stilettos with cateye polish and they were only $72!! The people at natural nails are committed to give you incredible service at a fair price.
And to any of the bad reviews- give them another try! These people really really care, and if you don't like your nails speak up!! call them back and let them know and I am sure they would be happy to correct it for you, these people are awesome.

Myself and 2 teen daughters got gel mani/pedis together as a birthday surprise. Everything was clean and comfortable. The ladies that took care of us are skilled and attentive to detail. Im glad we were able to easily get appointments at this popular spot on a days notice! Our nails are holding up well over a week later and worth the upcharge for gel, I can't say as much as other spots in town that are similarly run. Here I spent $80 for gel mani/pedis and $20 tip for each nail tech. So $100 total per client.
Not sure why this place has 2.5 stars...I had one of the best experiences I've ever had at a nail salon here! My roommate recommended this place because me and my friend were searching for salon to get pedicures at but had no idea where to go. At the last minute we decided to try it out! Bloomfield Nails exceeded my expectations. Super sweet staff, all the techs were so kind and funny! I walked in and was able to reserve two pedicure appointments for me and my friend right away. The stations were clean, the water was warm, and the massage chairs were super relaxing. They also had some Halloween decorations set up which was a fun touch. I had Tee as my nail tech and you could tell she is experienced! She did a great job and paid close attention to detail so my polish didn't run and my nail shape was even. Here is a breakdown of the pedicure prices since I know the website doesn't include them: Regular Pedicure- $40 Deluxe Pedicure- $60 Signature Deluxe- $70 Jelly Pedicure- unsure, sorry! +$10 add-on to any pedicure for shellac Super relaxing and professional experience. Nothing seemed cheap, unclean, or rushed. I will be returning for another pedicure soon!

What a great experience! I have never done more than soap and water wash for my face, so this was a *whole* new experience for me.Everything about it was lovely…the smells, sounds, the different textures and temperatures on my skin…all done with perfect gentleness, perfect timing. I never felt like any part of the experience was hurried, but I also never felt like I wanted to hurry it along. It was so relaxing and left my skin feeling soft and my nerves feeling soothed. Hands down the best massages i have ever had! I’ve been getting massages for over 10 years and I’ve had wonderful massage therapist but Spa Jina is unlike anything else. She is so wonderful for so many reasons, but I swear her hands are magic. I stand all day for my job and my back feels so much better after seeing her with her signature Massage and then her lymphatic drainage massage is out of this world. Dealing with an auto immune disease I have fatigue with my lymphatic system, and she has helped me so much flush that out have less pain and feel incredibly better. Truly, one of a kind I highly recommend going to see her for your massage needs. She’s happy to adjust pressure to your liking and we’ll make sure you’re always comfortable. She’s super professional. The place is so clean so cute and she really listens to you and make sure she takes care of you And comes up with a great plan! Kimmie's work in paramedical tattooing was superb. She created a incredibly realistic areola tattoo for my reconstruction that is about as perfect a match to the native areola as one can imagine. If you are a homeowner and you go in there please be nice because they are there to cater to professionals and commercial accounts who know what they are after. I had a wonderful experience with Ann Arbor Rug and Carpet Cleaning. They came recommended by my mother and I would do the same. I called for a quote to clean the carpet in my newly purchased home so that it would hopefully be done before we started moving in and without even bringing that up, they were able to schedule me for later that same week. We had a very active what my husband thought was Honeybees nest that was between the soffit and brick wall by the front door. We had Landscape Lighting Specialists out to repair the wiring to a set of lights. The existing wiring was damaged. Scott and Cam were great and fixed the problem in under an hour. When they finished the new wires were buried and the landscaping looked like no one had been there.
After a couple of years having difficulty keeping up with our lawn and bed maintenance, we hired Good Guys. They are prompt and professional and it has been so nice knowing that our yard is taken care of. Additionally, we were having a hard time getting sprinkler winterization scheduled with our usual company this year, we reached out to Good Guys and they were able to get us on the schedule within 24 hours of signing the contract. The man who came and performed the service was the most thorough we have ever had winterize our sprinklers. I cannot say enough good things about Good Guys and highly recommend them.

We've worked with J's twice now - once to remove a very large, old white pine which was very close to our house (and dangerously close to tipping over), and another time to remove a large amount of trees and invasives in our backyard as well as very large brush piles that were on the property when we bought it. J's team was efficient and friendly. Always checking in with us to ensure we were happy with the work, and also when rain came, to make sure they weren't damaging our yard with heavy equipment. The site was left very clean and we were super impressed with how effectively they removed all the invasives, which would have taken us months to do. Pricing was transparent and fair - much lower than initial estimates we received from others - and communication was frequent. Will definitely reach out to J's if we need to remove anything more, and would highly recommend J's!

Amazing place. Very quality work and is cheap. All Employees are very sweet and sanitation is very good. Proper PPE is worn and appointments are very thorough and well performed. Very good with kids and people with various disabilities and anxiety problems. Insurance problems are quite uncommon. They always ask me what my interests and how I’m doing (in a very sweet way), which should be mandatory in all medical fields.
A couple of ideas/complaints, first are foremost, I think installing doors inside the dental rooms would be a great idea, since I prefer to have privacy and listening to people talking and music playing annoys me a lot. (as an autistic 16 year old), since I prefer quiet areas during dental examinations, I hate having background sound when it comes to being worked on. I also think using purple or even black halyard gloves would be cool, as it’s my favorite shade of purple and I just like them more than the blue ones. They feel more welcoming and warming, not only that, I like the black ones because it matches their PPE outfits. I would also say having the hours be later (up until 10pm), since this place is very popular and since people often have to wait for such a long time. I also think offering weighted blankets would be cool, since I love having heavy things on me. I would also recommend measuring heart rate, since a lot of dental offices do that.
Overall, this place is extremely good and my Dad’s/my dentist, Misses Lindsey, went to my dad’s high school with him. People here are very professional and I like the smell of this place too.

When I started seeing Dr. Thatcher i was in pain after sitting for any length of time. I noticed a difference after my first visit and it only got better. Four years later I go monthly for maintenance and haven’t experienced the crippling pain again.
I can’t say enough about Journey Chiropractic. We had gone 7 years dealing with major behavioral issues with our 9 year old daughter, we tried everything and we were at the point of considering medication. To say we felt helpless was an understatement. We came across Journey Chiropractic on line and saw that they dealt with severe behavior issues in kids including oppositional defiance disorder (which we had self-diagnosed our daughter having). I was skeptical, but also optimistic as Dr. Kirsi was so positive and explained exactly why our daughter was behaving how she did. They saw that her behavior matched perfectly with the misalignment of her body (specifically the spine). Within 1 week she went from a horrible sleeper to an easy sleeper. Within 2 weeks she stopped refusing to eat and stopped complaining about every meal in front of her. Within 5 weeks, she started to do homework without a huge fight (I had actually given up on HW because her behavior was so bad and dangerous I figured we had bigger issues than homework getting done). I know we aren’t 100% there yet, but the progress we have seen in 5 weeks is astonishing to say the least. All I can say is I wish I had found Dr. Kirsi and Dr. Seth sooner! If you are dealing with behavior issues with your kids, this is the first place to start—I wish I had!

I had our first visit today for my Pomapoo Rena as she has been suffering with back pain and our first visit was great. Very quiet and clean space with exceptional treatment by staff. The person who saw Rena was very nice and my dog seemed to really like her. She really listened and made us both feel comfortable. Rena fell asleep half way on the drive home. Since it is our first visit only time will tell if things will be successful but so far I am very impressed and we are both happy.
I haven't worked with the chiropractors, though I have heard good things, but Mary Kliczinski is by far the best massage therapist I have ever worked with. She is very knowledgable, easy to talk to if you enjoy conversation during your massage, and incredibly sensitive to her patient's needs. If you are in the market for a good massage therapist, look no further! Ask for Mary!

Dr. Cumming is the best chiropractor I've been to hands down. She is affordable, gives advice on what to do to keep your body in good shape and takes the time to listen to what's going on with you so she can understand how to help. You aren't just a number here, you're treated like a friend.

We absolutely love Dr. Mabel Redondo! She is so great with our cats. They have been anxious at the vet before and both were so much more calm in her care. She is calm, thorough, and so extremely helpful in answering all of our questions. She was very patient and did not seem bothered or annoyed by the amount of questions my partner and I were asking her. We have had sub par experiences with veterinary offices in the past, and we are so grateful we found this practice! The staff here is amazing and the vibes are quiet and professional which is perfect for our cats. What a wonderful practice. This vet was new to us with the arrival of our new dog in 2023. They were recommended by a neighbor, and we have truly had a wonderful experience with them. Last week we had a preventative teeth cleaning with anesthesia. The vet came in prior to the procedure and was incredibly thorough in going over what the procedure would look like and what the potential breakdown of costs would be. Every staff member is so sweet and patient. I had no worries at all when I dropped my girlie off for the day.
I brought my senior cat here for his care towards the end of his life, and I am so appreciative of this practice! Dr. Marissa was so kind and thoughtful when working with him. The technicians were always welcoming, fielded all my questions, and were very gentle with my cat at the end of his life. The care given at this practice should be the standard, I cannot recommend this place enough!
We adopted a cat who had a complicated medical history, and Compassionate Care has been wonderful. The pulse wave therapy worked wonders for our kitty who had her hip joint removed, a messed up ankle (on the other side!) and a broken pelvis. I was skeptical of the treatment, honestly, but not any more! It really helped our little girl, who is now living her best life!
Best vet in the area for exotics! I take both my rabbits and my birds here. A few days ago, I woke up to my rabbit Olive not wanting her breakfast. This is extremely unusual for her. She didn't even want a treat, which is when I knew something was absolutely wrong. So without hesitation, I called all creatures, and they had a cancelation and were able to get me in. The doctor and the staff truly go out of their way to make you feel like they truly care about your fur baby. When we walked in, there was a sign welcoming Olive. The little things like that are why I love this vet so much. To add, the doctor was very gentle and throughout along with the techs. They did an amazing job, and a few days later my baby Olive is back to herself! I truly want to say thank you to the doctor that day! Without her, my baby might not be okay right now. One last thing, this place has amazing prices! Once I got the final bill, I was surprised at how cheap it was! Overall, I am thankful to have found this place. I will definitely continue to bring my exotics here! Thank you all for being the best!

The staff here are so kind, gentle, and knowledgeable. They helped me care for my sick, traumatized 20-yr old cat and helped me decide when to say goodbye, and I've taken my next two cats here, too. They're very responsive to emails and texts and I don't usually have to wait on hold when I call. They're worth the drive even after moving to Ypsi.

Magic!! I came to Allison with back pain that I had for 10 years. I worked with PT's and massage therapists, and while what they supported me with somewhat subdued the pain in moments, it never got 100% better. In one session with Allison, my back pain was cured!!!! I couldn't believe it. Going to bed that first night without having to squirm around to support my back in just the right position was incredible. It's absolutely life-changing to find a good massage therapist that actually listens to what you say you need and addresses that instead of deciding what's more important to fix. I've been to countless places asking for a focus on my neck and shoulders, and they always find the same spot and dig into it. I leave feeling bruised and my neck and shoulders still causing me tension headaches every day. Today I woke up completely headache-free AND that spot everyone likes to attack feels better without that bruised feeling.
I am medically fragile, so seeing their reasonable mask policy, use of air filters, and cleaning practices was most definitely a major selling point for me. I really feel safe here, and that's not something I can say about many places.

Renee Kirbs is an excellent PT at Healing Hands in Ann Arbor. I have worked with her in the past for knee, back and hip injuries. Now she has been focused on my shoulder and neck. I have seen 5 different people for PT at 3 different companies and by far Renee is the best. Every time that I have worked with her, my condition has improved dramatically. In one case, it literally allowed me to walk again without using a walker. Now she has been working to give me improved head and neck motion and again I can see the results. She is kind, caring and a nice person as well, which makes going through the effort of PT so much more tolerable. I give her my highest evaluation.

This is where Dr. Steven Hinderer practices. He is an extremely knowledgeable PM&R doctor with over 25 years experience! Along with Dr Hinderer is physician assistant Douglas McCollum. Both, along with the office staff are friendly , outgoing and more than helpful. Dr. Hinderer has taught students at Wayne State University. Although he has no current affiliations, he does know many doctors on staff within the Corewell and U of M health. Worlds. When he recommends something to be done, it is out of his years of expertise and knowledge that his recommendations are made.
My acupuncturist moved away and I was assigned to Jee Ae Choi. I have been having Vestibular Migraines. Jee Ae has specialized training in neural issues and although the previous practitioner was kind and helpful, with JeeAe's expertise I felt markedly better and am very optimistic about my restored health. There are even days where I don't think about and that is a huge relief.
Connie helped me recover from some bad dental work. She was able to help my body start healing itself. Something that year and a half of antibiotics couldn’t. I was afraid that I wasn’t going to get better. She is an amazing healer. Mk

I started acupuncture with Brodie because of degenerative discs in my back. It was very nice to have a virtual option for classes. It was also important to me that my child was paying attention in these classes. George Spencer and Ms Preswick made sure kids paid attention, artistes and learned. We received good feedback from the drives also.
Dean is an amazing and exemplary instructor. I was a relatively older student (22 years old) with zero prior driving experience, and Dean helped me to improve my skills quickly over the course of two weeks. He was quick to identify my issues and taught me the right skills and maneuvers in a way that suit me well. He is kind, patient, and straightforward throughout the process aimed at doing his best to help me to improve. In addition, he pays attention to my ways of thinking through occasional small talks, and taught me how to follow my own pace, relax, and think less as we progressed through the sessions. Best of all, he is very flexible and accommodating more than most other schools in this area. I had to cancel last minute once and wanted to schedule a lesson last minute another time, and he was able to accommodate both with understanding and at no additional charge.
Go in with an open mind and focus on trying your best to learn and you’ll get a lot in return. I passed my road test easily after two weeks of lessons. And I’ve been making the same recommendation to my friends who are trying to get their licenses.
One small piece of advice to students - make sure to take responsibility for your own future driving and ask questions about things you’ll need to know when you drive independently, such as how to turn on the wipers, headlights, hazard lights etc. as they may not come up if your lessons take place in nicer weather conditions. But those should be a breeze once you learned how to do it. Good luck!
