Ate? Down. I came in earlier this week to get partial brown highlights, and Emilie ATE DOWN. She was meticulous, caring, and competent. She really knew what she was doing, and she took such good care of my hair. I’ve never had such a good experience at a hair salon ever. We chatted while she did my hair, and really made sure that we achieved what I was asking for. I would 100% book with her again! This place was also so amazing! The instructor was very nice and honest with me about what my hair could handle and I really appreciate that. The price was very affordable and they also offer a student discount! I can’t wait to comeback!

I have never had a bad haircut at Aveda Institute. I have gone to both the East Lansing and, more recently, the Ann Arbor locations, and every time I leave, I have the haircut I want. The students are well-educated, and the top-notch instructors are quick to support their students when a learning opportunity presents itself. My last visit to the Ann Arbor location was May 22 and the instructor that assisted my student was absolutely amazing.

Went in for a relaxing facial yesterday and absolutely loved everything about the service. Maria did an amazing job. More than a facial it was a journey of aromatherapy, sensory stimulation and gentle pampering. Maria does know her stuff. I am soo glad I chose to come here for a facial, my face looked super clear after the service. Not to forget, I felt super relaxed during and after the session too. Maria is great! Keep up the good work, Girl!
