“Submitted an online request have a leaking outdoor faucet repaired and made an appointment for later in the day. Received a text 15 minutes later that a plumber was immediately available. Plumber showed up 15 minutes later and replaced the valve stem and handle. Price was $250 which I thought was expensive, but I have not had any work done lately so this may be the going rate. Problem fixed.“

“I needed a new heat pump and air handler. I solicited 3 estimates, including Twin Tech and 2 from locally advertised large HVAC companies. After we compared similar units, Twin Tech’s estimate came in approximately 15% cheaper. They installed quickly and efficiently with great clean up. Lesson learned: Large local HVAC companies that advertise have to recover their marketing costs through cost pass throughs. Give Twin Tech a call. “I recently had an emergency after-hours issue with a malfunctioning sump pump during a heavy rain storm. I called The Plumbing Dr. after 11pm and within 90 mins they had a licensed plumber at my door working to triage and fix the issue. Phillip was very professional and courteous. He did a great job replacing the faulty pump and getting everything up and running in short order. The callout fee was very reasonable (less than $100), as was the overall price to complete the job. Prior to this I hadn’t been a customer of theirs, but they will now be my first call.“

I just want to say that Jene "the young one with the beard" did a fanatic job all by himself. He explained everything thoroughly, very patient and neat. The outcome is beautiful I love the new spigot. Jene cleaned up everything very good, covered up the drywalls and explained the location of the new shut off vale, he even set the time back on my stove :). “I cannot recommend this service enough. Rema is a master plumber who we hired to resolve leftover issues for a failed final inspection from a contractor. He installed a sump pump battery backup and fixed the sump pump drainage pipe outside to adhere to code requirements. His workmanship and professionalism is impeccable, and we've had no issues with our sump pump or drain pipes since they had been installed. “When our furnace failed, Yosef came out the same day to diagnose the problem and gave an honest and competitive set of proposals for replacements. Despite an issue with the installation of the previous furnace delaying the process, Yosef stayed until 7PM on a Friday to get it all sorted out ahead of the big snow storm we had in Maryland in January 2024.“
“I had an ongoing sewage backup in my outside basement stairwell since last December 2021. I had gotten three estimates; Mr Nelson's was very reasonable. My plumbing problem was that the sewage pipe is galvanized and had deteriorated. It was the original pipe of my 1949 row home, and the main problem with the pipe extended into the recreation room of the basement. They were going to have to dig. My anxiety went through the roof; however, Mr Nelson diffused my fears and worked with me. He and his team explained the entire procedure, broke it down where I clearly understood, and also provided me a status with pictures. This company is very meticulous about their work, and they clean up and haul away excess debris and mud. I am very happy, and the sewage pipe and drain now work perfectly. Nelson will definitely be my plumbing first choice, and I highly recommend them.“
