With his help on both exercise and nutrition, I’ve lost weight, met my goals, and feel so much more energized overall. The workouts are challenging but motivating, and I actually look forward to (finishing!) them.

They're joined by an exceptional team, including Sa'idah Durkee, a decorated grappler with impressive wins such as gold medals at the IBJJF Pan No-Gi and US Grappling events, Evan Jacobovitz, and Becca Hurd, who all contribute to the gym's dedication to excellence and student success. “I recently participated in a group training session at Train. With Happy Hour Athletics and it was an amazing experience! Tran, the trainer, is highly knowledgeable and created a supportive and motivating environment throughout the entire session.
The group training format was fantastic because it allowed for interaction and collaboration with other participants. It was great to work alongside like-minded individuals who shared similar fitness goals. The trainer is so excellent at adapting the exercises to accommodate different fitness levels, ensuring that everyone felt challenged and engaged.
The training sessions were well-structured and focused on a variety of exercises that targeted different muscle groups. The trainer provided clear instructions and guidance, ensuring proper form and technique. I could really feel the benefits of the workouts, both in terms of strength and endurance.

I came across Dr. Jowers and he got me back to where I was pre injury and gave me the tools to get better on my own, if and when I did reaggravate it. When I tore my MCL a few years later, Launch was my first call.“

Something I think this studio does right is meeting where people are. It’s not just on the weight floor but also like do you have circumstances and are telling folks hey this is what’s up- they’re so willing to work with you. It truly does become a family. It’s almost 6 years of OTF and this studio gets it right. Takes a little drinking the OTF cool aid to get your moneys worth - I think like anything the more you invest in (emotionally, mentally) typically the more you can get back out. Love this place with every fiber of my being. ?
I love my H STREET OTF studio- the SAs are all great and knowledgeable and just great humans. SM Alex is a gem and every single coach is amazing. Love Liz, Sam, Chloe, Jeanette and HC PUMA. Phenomenal people that are passionate and truly get to know everyone. Been in and out with injury’s for a while and they help with modifications and are just compassionate people that know! No judgement just fun. ✨? plus these folks have the best music.“

8325 Grubb Rd, Silver Spring“I really love this gym. This is no cookie-cutter chain gym. This is a unique neighborhood gym and all of the instructors and the staff are awesome. There are flowers planted outside, house plants in the bathroom, it's always very clean. The people who come here are friendly. The sauna is nice. The facility is never too busy, you will always get a machine. The classes are top-notch and offered at a good range of times. I've done several of the yoga classes and a sprinkling of other classes. It's inexpensive. It's easy to get to, with plenty of parking available. They also have a very easy to use app for signing up for classes.“

I could not find the parking garage people speak of but I was able to find a pay parking spot which I was lucky was free cause it was night time. One of the best showers I've ever had! Clean, hot water! I will definitely be stopping here again when I'm in town.“

Without question, I can say that the investment was totally worth it. Arkadiy quickly determined what I needed to do, and I began seeing results within a week or two. The answer was actually much less work than I thought it would be. Had I known what Arkadiy taught me long ago, I would have never had any issues staying in shape. The training is just as I wanted it: He tells me what I need to know and do, and then helps me along the way without any hype or innovations. Since Arkadiy is a former champion bodybuilder, it is good knowing that he has been to the top and is an expert in what it takes to get fit, even if, like me, your goals are nowhere close to becoming a bodybuilder. I can highly recommend anyone interested in gaining muscle or getting in shape to work with Arkadiy.“

It is evident that Kimior has put much thought into creating a gym environment that is warm and welcoming to people of all ages and in all stages of their personal growth. I love that they emphasize health in its entirety--including sleep, nutrition, stretching/flexibility, muscle growth, fat loss (if that's your goal) and even a positive mental health. Michaela, in particular, has been an absolute blessing to my health and wellbeing. She is always ready to adjust my workouts based on my ongoing injuries and soreness, and has even implemented more mobility work to help with my injuries.
