Recently, I’ve had the ability to work with Madeline now that she’s gotten her certification. I’ve seen a very impressive shift since working out with her before. Madeline is very good about focusing on my exact needs being an athlete. She is great about giving me encouragement, staying personable, and keeping high energy throughout the entire workout. When I voice any concern, like a strain or pain, she is able to quickly adjust the workout in order to accommodate. Madeline is also very good at giving me slight adjustments not only during workouts, but after workouts. It’s been a genuine pleasure to work with her and I’m excited to continue to do so.“

“I joined Lean Force because I’ve been struggling to get back in shape after having two kids. I’ve never worked with a personal trainer and this was the best decision I’ve made. Federico exceeded all of my expectations. He is a great coach who always motives, keeps the work outs interesting and is very knowledgeable. I started noticing change after a few weeks of training and there is no way I would be able to achieve that at home. I feel stronger and have more energy. The only regret is that I didn’t start training sooner. Would highly recommend for anyone!“

“It’s been quite some time, since I’ve been thinking of trying out this gym. In the past, I would go to the traditional gyms, where I was doing my own workouts, and never connected with anyone.
Now at DPT, this changed completely. I was pleasantly surprised to see the dynamics of the place. Starting with the coaches, who miraculously know everyone’s name; the sessions are inclusive, sometimes interactive with the group and everyone is very friendly. There are people of all ages, all fitness levels, and you can follow the exercises at your own pace. No worries about not knowing what to do at first, because you can see others doing the same thing, plus, of course, the coaches are always there for any questions, advice, correcting your form. Once the class starts, you don’t even realize how fast it goes by and your body will tell you how well you did the next day - I’m always discovering muscles that I didn’t know existed!
I highly recommend trying out this gym, you’ll love it!“

“I’m so glad I signed up to check out Velocity Fitness. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted or needed but this was my third place to check out and I’m so happy with my experience. The trial was great and I didn’t feel pressured to commit. You get the one on one attention of a personal trainer but get to be with a welcoming positive group of people. The trainers help with goal setting and they give you individualized plans. I have an old knee injury and they have really tailored a great program and consistently check in during the workout to ensure I feel good and have the correct form. They don’t yell at you well except when you walk in they do yell hello ?“

“I live close by in Quincy and have been coming here for four months so far and absolutely love it. I am learning Pilates (private) with Alisa 2x a week and I also see my personal trainer Mike 2x a week. I have had the best experience with everyone I’ve encountered (owner, staff and clients) and I’ve also had immediate results with weight loss and strength gain, flexibility etc and love the diversity of the workouts I am doing. It so nice that it is never crowded given that everything is by appt, and there is always a peaceful, fun, respectful, laidback and positive atmosphere. Whenever I want to take a Pilates class, I always get the time I want and I love how the classes are so small. The location is convenient and I’m always able to park right out front. Coming here and learning and challenging myself, especially with Alisa and Mike, have been the highlight of my weeks; getting me through the winter and in better shape!“

“I love Catalyst gym! As a newcomer in town, the staff at Catalyst gym were so welcoming to me. I entered with a goal to get in healthier shape for my pregnancy. I was able to work out 2x a week with Danny and Ryan until I was 36 weeks pregnant. Each trainer had a nice balance of challenging me to ensure I was getting stronger and increasing my stamina, but also listened to me regarding my pregnancy progression and how I was feeling at each session. The trainer/trainee relationship with both Danny and Ryan felt very collaborative and they listened to my goals and made sure I was able to attain them safely, and make adjustments as needed for my growing belly and when I couldn't get off the floor as easily! I credit Catalyst Gym with my ability to feel healthy and fit throughout my pregnancy and motivating me to keep going! Special shout out to Ryan (a father himself) as he had some insider knowledge about training throughout pregnancy. The community at Catalyst is wonderful. I loved the small groups (max of 3 people) and everyone I worked out with was so nice. Catalyst Gym is also very accommodating when I needed to reschedule my sessions due to illness or doctors appointments. My family recently moved away from Cambridge, otherwise I'd be back at the gym! I miss it LOTS.“

“Had such pain in my neck that it kept me up at night - Every little movement hurt. Requested an appointment on their website and got a callback the next morning. Cathy, a former RN, was super intricate with the intake process and provided me with a lot of info on how to sit, sleep, and stand better. Bob took x-rays and showed me where my “problem areas” were. Puts a lot into perspective once you see it in black and white. From there, he adjusted me and provided me with some exercises to strengthen my weak areas. It’s been great. I feel so much better!“

Our four year old son has been going to the dragon class for a year, and it’s made such a difference for his self confidence, ability to focus, and patience. We were initially unsure how a 3 year old could pay attention in a martial arts class, but we were astounded at how much kids can do. Sensei Bobbi has such a gift for teaching, and it’s so apparent how much joy he gets from it. He makes martial arts fun and engaging while also instilling discipline and respect for the sport. Kids walk out high fiving and hugging each other. It’s the highlight of my week as a parent watching the kids practice. What we love about the class is also in the structure. Sensei Bobby has the older kids demonstrate and serve as role models for the younger kids. He also brings a lot of his junior instructors to help, which means kids are constantly learning and teaching each other. Our son smiles every time he talks about martial arts all because of how amazing AMAC is. We can’t recommend it enough!“
