I came here on a rainy Sunday with my roommate since we had nothing else to do. The shop was cozy, spotless, and didn’t smell like nail products at all. I chose a manicure with a neutral beige polish while she picked a shiny purple color. The techs were patient and kept asking if the length and shape were okay which I appreciated. It’s a great spot if you just want to spend a lazy day indoors and leave with pretty nails.

Meeting Rosa has changed my life!!! I cut my hair super short last year (like basically buzz cut) and regretted it instantly . I wanted to grow my hair out but also look decent during the grow out phase. I tried a few different hair stylist and not many knew how to cut my Asian hair. Then one day I saw a few ladies walk out of Rosa’s hair salon with beautiful short blowouts, I knew I had to meet her. Since then, she’s cut my hair a few times and each time has made me feel and look beautiful (all during a phase that is usually called the ugly grow out phase) . Most recently, she cut and dyed my hair perfectly!!! I was very hesitate with dying my hair as I haven’t done it in over ten years. Afraid of damaging and maintaining my the color, as I don’t have much time or money for that. Rosa took that into consideration and did my hair in less than an hour!!!!! She didn’t use bleach and the color came out beautifully! Price is very affordable and I just cant stop looking at myself! Thank you Rosa for making me feel like myself again (which can be tough as a working mom of three!).

David and his team at Michale Russo Plumbing helped me and my neighbor deal with a plumbing emergency that required the immediate replacement of 2 hot water heaters that were installed in a very difficult location. Everyone that came to help including Anthony, Moises, and Ricky were kind, patient and knowledgeable. At the onset, David came personally to talk through all options of the project including tankless, the standard glass lined steel, and finally stainless steel tanks (our choice). I also received estimates from Waldman and Spencer, and while they seemed capable, Russo Plumbing had significantly better pricing and was able to source the stainless steel tanks quicker. After the tanks were installed, I received a call from David to ensure the job was completed to my satisfaction. That was a really nice touch that showed they care about customer outcomes and confirmed I made the right decision. I would use Russo again without hesitation!

We have relied on McCurdy over time to remove all the active knob and tube wiring in our 130-year-old Victorian home, do all the electrical work for our kitchen remodel, including providing enough power for our new induction stove, and installing ceiling fans and light fixtures (eg. wall sconces). Foreman Joe Costain runs a tight and skilled crew. Beatriz and Judy are highly responsive in the front office. Jeremias was quite knowledgeable and suggested replacing part of our asphalt driveway with permeable pavers to add a natural drainage solution, not reliant on sump pumps or hoses and motors which already showed their limitations. His crew also built up a berm along our property, which not only acted as a way to hold back potential water flow but also dressed up our property line with additional shrubs and trees. These guys really knew what they were doing - the pavers came out beautiful, Jeremias himself was regularly on site and was constantly in communication throughout the job to update the process. We've since reached out about additional projects on our property.

Leo really knows what he’s doing. We had 2 trees that were really struggling. He trimmed them, made holes to aerate, added 10-10-10 fertilizer. Told me to water 2x a day. I’ve been doing that and Voila! My trees are coming back. Yay Leo!! An added benefit is that Leo is a really nice guy.

We had L&T over to remove 5 large trees last year and this year to remove one. One of our large old growth oak trees, split in half during bad weather, so we had them back again! They showed up both times as scheduled, got the job done quickly/efficiently, they are friendly, professional and hard workers. These guys don't mess around! I met Moises from J & A Tree Service trimming trees at another house on my street. I asked him if he would mind giving me a price to trim a large tree which was not on my property but the neighbor behind us but was hanging dangerously over our property and to remove a large dead tree on our property. He gave me an excellent price and even though he had another tree removal later that afternoon he did it the same day for us. What a great job he did not only removing the branches I asked him to remove but he cut down many others on his own. He and his crew cleaned up my property like there were never any trees cut down. Definitely the best tree service around if you need one.

On the day of the job they came in with a large crane and other equipment and an amazing crew. They weren’t paying. Got the job done all in one day.
