“I had a red light turn on at 10:00pm on my thermostat indicating a service issue so I called at 8:00 am the next morning to have a service person to come and locate the problem with my furnace. This was Friday Jan 2, 2026 and I had a funeral I needed to be at by 12:30 pm. Billy, the service man, scheduled me for his first call. He was fast and efficient checking the furnace out well and reset the thermostat. Thankfully no major problems were found and I was able to make it on time to the funeral. She didn't put the disconnect in all the way and we called Airtech. They immediately sent someone out. He discovered the disconnect in improperly, pushed it in all the way and it worked. So my furnace stopped working and I had Absolute Services come look at it. Long story short , they quoted me $840 for a little part but highly recommended I go ahead and replace the entire furnace which would have been $3,500.I told them I’d get back to them and remembered a company that came out last year who seemed very honest called Metro 1 Heating and Cooling and they came out and said it was basically just a loose screw. They fixed it and didn’t even charge me. The price they did quote me on the part was more than half off what other company quoted if I would have needed it.Here is image of the Absolute services quote for that part that I literally saw on Amazon for $34$. So if you need anything done with your heating or air check out Metro One and save yourself from the scam artists!“

“Amazing experience and by the way he has 40+ years of experience. Our heater had a problem not turning on. I called them close to closing time at around 4pm. The owner was here promptly within 15 minutes had a solution, explained what occurred with the part which fortunately started working, explained the part may go back out but we agreed with starting with simplest solution first (seeing how long it may last) but he took the part number and said call if it does go out and we can get it squared away.
