“I had an amazing experience. I came out later Thursday night to my water heater leaking water. After multiple calls to a few "24" hour emergency places that had no openings, I was beyond frustrated. I decided it's probably best to replace vs fix and reached out on thumbtack to see my options. Duct Professionals responded so quickly! Not only that but they had a whole proposal laid out for me to review, a great price, and were available to come that next morning. I had an appt I couldn't move at 1pm that day and was concerned that it would mess with the install. They let me know they would have their workers take a lunch break and come back when I was ready. I can't express how easy, transparent, and friendly everyone I worked with was. They even got the install completed before my appt!! Talk about impressed! “Very impressed witth Al who came out from Climatek. It was a very cold day in November in Des Plaines Illinois and we woke up to the furnace not running, it was already down to 58 degrees and the thermostat showed that the furnace should be running even though it was not. I was able to get the furnace fan to run so I knew it was not an electrical problem. I looked at the furnace and could not figure out why it was not running. I called three other outfits who were unable to give me a definitive time range they would commit to coming. Finally contacted Climatek, communicating via text which I thought was convenient and I got a time frame in which the tech said he would be there. He also texted me when he knew he was on the way. Within minutes of his arrival Al deternined that the problem was the pressure switch and he was able to get the furnace running by resetting it and he showed me how to reset it if the problem occured again. He provided a quote for both a replacement pressure switch and a new furnace and AC being that our furnace was 17 years old. So, bottom line, he was able to get to the root of the problem very quickly, provide the cost of repair as well as replacement very shortly after leaving. Highly recommended!“
