Finding quality companies in Brunswick GA can be challenging at best, however, Dependable Flooring went above and beyond what I thought or imagined. They removed the old, unsalvageable hardwoods and installed the high end premium Bella Vista Lorena by Johnson.Hardwood. It is a highly durable AC5 scratch rating and much more resistant against water and spills than traditional hardwoods! The guys took extreme care to protect against the dust caused by the removal of the old floors and cutting under the brick hearth for the new flooring to tuck underneath. I highly recommend this company for affordable AND dependability!

What words can you use to describe your experience at Soothing Touch Massage? Fabulous, Amazing, Awesome, Top Tier comes to mind, but neither really does justice to what actually happened.
It was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. We were greeted by the Masseuse who asked what type of pressure we preferred. I requested Medium and she proceeded to cover my body with a sheet and she took great care to focus on gently working the tired knots in my body.
Next, the sheet was removed so that she could lather me up with body oil, still focused on removing knots. She was a small woman, but had a firm hand. She started on my back, then made her way to my aching legs and feet. Next she came back to my back and added hot stones then focused on my arms again.
After removing the stones, she asked me to turn over on my back. She began to give me a relaxing facial massage - paying extra attention to my neck. Then she worked on my shoulders and tummy, then back to my legs and feet.
It was glorious! She was quiet during the session which allowed me to enjoy the experience and the comforting music. We did the one hour couple massage which cost $130.00. I think the price was amazing and I highly recommend them for their professionalism, customer service, and their exceptional skills.

Every detail of the salon is well thought out and it was so refreshing. Melissa was great and I normally don’t book out in advance but I made sure to book my next appointment after I was done with my first one. I received a silk press and I am so in love with it. Let’s just say Renee was my saving grace today! I have been blonde for over 16 years & decided to let my natural dark brown hair color grow out for a little over a year. I then pulled the thing you NEVER should do…. Grabbed some box dye, toner and did it myself at home to go blonde again. Biggest mistake ever. I turned myself into a bright yellow / orange highlighter; the pictures I have posted looks nowhere near as bad as it really was. I couldn’t even look at myself in the mirror. After calling MULTIPLE salons for a 911; which I knew was a long shot for a last minute color correction just a few days after a holiday; I call Urban Halo and Renee gets me in on her personal time she made for herself.

Would highly recommend this place. Pricier than where I usually go and a language barrier, but I was able to communicate what I wanted and ended up with a fresh, clean cut and I didn't have to answer nearly as many questions as I normally do. Make sure to have zelle or cash before you go.

This was my first visit. I chose Raytillia’s business because I prefer personal attention with a single operator. And I made the right choice! She is welcoming, professional, knowledgeable, listens, and is very caring. I had a basic pedicure and Raytillia addressed some minor toenail issues. I also had a state-of-the-art facial skin scan to assess my needs. My Four- Layer facial included steam, multiple treatments applied, and a mask. The business is located with its own entrance at her residence in a suburban development. Raytillia offers full privacy and an opportunity to fully relax.

They did a great job on both me and my daughter’s nails. We both had full set manicure and the basic pedicure. Overall great experience - the staff are very friendly and do good work. Very slight imperfections in both sets but nothing that screams losing a star or finding another salon. We will definitely be back ???

All visits I have had so far have been wonderful. Their quality of work is amazing! I usually only get acrylic with gel, I got my mom a pedicure, and even the regular service for those is great. They offer a lot of options for them. Their kid services are great also. Will definitely be coming back more often!

The very best Brazilian and today I had my eyebrows threaded for the first time and they look great. I have really thin brows and every time I’ve gotten them waxed the water always takes off too much. The threading was perfect.

I was ready to cut off 4+ inches of hair, so a much shorter style, but one that didn’t require a lot of maintenance each morning. Jennifer provided the perfect haircut. She’s fantastic and is exactly what I wanted in a new stylist. She listened, made suggestions, and did a great job. I left with a new cut that I love, love, love and it requires very little time in the morning. I’m extremely pleased!
Mrs.Stacey is amazing! I came from out of town to a wedding on the island of Saint Simons and I went to the beach and my hair got for lack of a better word messed up! Lol I went to go get something to eat and I saw one of her clients in the same restaurant and I asked who did your hair and it led me to No Limitz Salon. I called her and she immediately answered. wonderful response time& my hair came out so beautiful. She had to push my appointment back due to the weather and tornado warnings and I don't know a lot of stylist who would do that and who's concerned about her clients traveling which spoke to who she was as not only a person but as a stylist !Stacey is not only an amazing stylist but she is also an amazing person with a beautiful spirit she will definitely be seeing me again when I'm in the area for summertime and for Christmas!

It is troublesome enough when you develop plumbing problems at home but when a faucet springs a major leak in your old camper on Jekyll Island and you need a particular part, it was Hughes Supply who came to our rescue. The bathetub/shower handel broke in our boys bathroom and we could not shut off the water. I called multiple local places that could not come out to help. I was getting answer like we can come on Tuesday or it would be this evening. I was tearful at this point not knowing what to do. Gallons and gallons of water just going down the drain. I then called Cross Plumbing. They came right away and fixed the issue. They have earned a loyal customer today!!! I am so grateful for them!!!

Outstanding! Same day service for a gas fireplace issue, and they stuck with it until it was fixed, just in time for the cold weather to be coming in next week. (This was after another plumber walked away from it in the morning.) We will definitely be using them again for any plumbing needs.

We bought what I think was the last affordable home on the Island. There were 4 carpeted bedrooms, one ok. Three with poorly laid carpeting. I worked with Mary B. Knittel on St Simons who was a tremendous help. Then there was Bart who laid the neutral close woven Berber as his father did before him. We are absolutely so pleased.

UPDATE:
My child was supposed to be coming in to have her cap put back on that came off after only 3 months. I spoke to someone twice before that appointment and they never informed me that it was only a consult and not the cap being put back on. The dentist was in the room about 1-2 minutes and then said they would get her set up with a different dentist. Needless to say I was not happy as I had to take off work. My child has yet to be scheduled for her procedure as she had to be put “on a waiting list for Dr. Adams”. I’m very upset with this office! I tried to call the week before when the cap came off and after trying for 4 hours, nobody would answer the phones. I also sent an email to the office supervisor, who by the way never responded as of yet, regarding the phone situation. When someone finally called me back, I was told that there is only one phone number for 3 different offices and only 1 person apparently answers calls. This is frustrating to say the least! Hopefully my child doesn’t end up with an infection, because that will become a major problem.

They are a very friendly office. They greet you with great smile and seem to enjoy being there. The Hygienist and Dentist are interested in you as a patient .

My experience from start to finish with Dr. Hall was all that I could have asked for and more. Whenever I had my consultation, she thoroughly explained the procedure and answered any questions I had about it. Then, when I had my procedure, she and her staff took great care of me before and after the procedure by doing a great job and providing a minimal pain experience while also giving me plenty of medication and post operative instructions. You are in great care with Dr. Hall!

I started at Wellman Family Chiropractic in January 2024 after seeing their New Year special, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health. I came in with significant lower back, mid-back, and neck pain that was really affecting my daily life.
The team took the time to do a thorough evaluation, including X-rays. The results showed my pelvis was 11 degrees off center, something I hadn’t realized was contributing so much to my discomfort. From the very first adjustment, I noticed a difference, and after consistent care over about 5 months, my follow-up X-ray showed incredible progress: my pelvis had improved by 5 degrees, now only 6 degrees off!
The pain has decreased dramatically, my mobility is so much better, and I just feel more aligned and energetic overall. The staff is friendly, professional, and genuinely caring, they make you feel like family. I’m still going regularly for maintenance and couldn’t be happier with the results.

The doctor knew he had diabetes so instead of doing other bloodwork and x-rays, she immediately went to a diabetic situation. However, he actually ended up having a stomach tumor that spread to his lungs. Had this practice been more diligent, we would not have had to put our cat to sleep unexpectedly…
We’ve been with Dr. Tucker for 15 years now. He has seen our chihuahua Berry since she was a puppy. He is the only vet we will ever have for her. He spayed her, has done her dental work, regular checks and all. And Dr. Hall has seen her a couple of times too and is also wonderful with her! Everyone here actually cares about the animals and their owners and it shows. We’ve never had anything but great experiences with them even in the event of an emergency they have been phenomenal. We love Dr.Tucker and Dr.Hall and all of the staff!

Brought my dog here to get neutered. The service was wonderful and everyone was so nice! The team did a great job with the procedure and my dog healed with no issues. The team checked in with me the day after the procedure to see how things were going, which shows how much they care. I would highly recommend and I will be brining my dog back here for appointments moving forward!

What words can you use to describe your experience at Soothing Touch Massage? Fabulous, Amazing, Awesome, Top Tier comes to mind, but neither really does justice to what actually happened.
It was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. We were greeted by the Masseuse who asked what type of pressure we preferred. I requested Medium and she proceeded to cover my body with a sheet and she took great care to focus on gently working the tired knots in my body.
Next, the sheet was removed so that she could lather me up with body oil, still focused on removing knots. She was a small woman, but had a firm hand. She started on my back, then made her way to my aching legs and feet. Next she came back to my back and added hot stones then focused on my arms again.
After removing the stones, she asked me to turn over on my back. She began to give me a relaxing facial massage - paying extra attention to my neck. Then she worked on my shoulders and tummy, then back to my legs and feet.
It was glorious! She was quiet during the session which allowed me to enjoy the experience and the comforting music. We did the one hour couple massage which cost $130.00. I think the price was amazing and I highly recommend them for their professionalism, customer service, and their exceptional skills.
