“Taking over my Aunts home, she did not keep any info on the massive ac unit that she was scammed into buying. 18k total was her expense for a unit that belongs on a 2 story house not a 1900 sq ft manufactured home. When it went out only 2 yrs later, we called Merritt Island Air & Heat. W in the hour they had Dustin here and diagnosing the problem. Part had to be ordered. Instead of making us wait till Friday (would have been 4 days) another technician drove to Orlando and was able to get the part and very next day installed and working beautifully!! That's a above and beyond job right there! Dustin fixed all the issues the original installers did poorly and the ac is now blowing even harder than before. Less humidity inside my home now, which will also help lower the fpl bill.
Learn the installers of the ac from original business wired the unit improperly which caused the entire unit to work overtime and blew the motor up. It's not even a full 2 years old.

“In 2022 we, and our neighbor, installed new HVAC systems for our condos. Our building is located on the west coast of Florida and the HVAC units are about 50 feet from the seawall/water’s edge on Anna Maria Bay. HVAC units rarely last more than 8-10 years at our complex due to the highly corrosive environment.
We decided to give Salt Shield a try and had both units treated prior to installation.

“Altman's had scheduled Kevin to perform the bi-annual preventative maintenance on my AC unit. I received a reminder a few days prior, then a phone call from Kevin about 30 minutes prior to his arrival.
He was very polite and professional throughout his visit. He identified a UV bulb had burnt out and replaced in immediately. He performed a detailed 84 point tune up, inspection and cleaning of the entire unit, which included disinfecting the inside of the air handler.
One of the best parts of the visit was how professional and efficient he was during the entire service. He kept me up to date and informed his entire stay.“

Then another time I called to see if I could move some AC vents so that I could raise the ceiling in my condo. “my HVAC coils were supposedly cleaned for $450. A/C didn't function properly afterwards so I had another company come look. one entire side of the coils was not cleaned. I emailed the company and haven't heard from them. Does this picture look clean? I need my $$$ back.“
