“Edgardo did a phenomenal job cleaning and servicing our system. After I just paid another a/c service person almost 500.00 on a Sunday to clean our unit that was clogged about a month ago, I watched Edgardo clean out gunk that should have already been removed. He spent at least 90 minutes working on our system and the cost was less than half what I paid the other company and that included a pound of refrigerant. Worth every penny.

“Luis and Eric arrived at our house on time Dec 26, 2025, to perform fixes on the air duct system. Luis had previously diagnosed the problems a few days earlier. (4 ducts at the front of the house were blowing cool air from the heating system) They reattached and strapped ductwork that was previously installed on June 23, 2025, (and had come apart) causing cool air in the summer and warm air during cold periods in December to malfunction, wasting electric bill money and comfort inside our home. We appreciate their attention to detail and highly recommend both Luis and Eric.“

“After many many issues I did have with the Melbourne location. I was essentially left stranded with all these problems and no one was taking care of them and fixing their own screw ups. I actually ended up having to come out of my own pocket to pay for screw ups done by the Melbourne store I shouldn't of had to pay for in the first place. I had problems such as evap clogged and damaged from insulation and duct job done, duct work ran in crawl space giving me no access to attic, and insulation falling out of ceiling in air handler closet. It was a very frustrating 6 months battle to deal with. I then got a phone call from Dennis in Daytona, he saw my original review and was appalled by the service I had been given for the 6 months of dealing with them and he was very apologetic and reassured me that that is not how one hour runs the business and said that he would absolutely do everything in his power to make things right and that he did! He delivered on all his promises to make things right. He said he was going to send his best guys Edwin and Ryan down to the house to fix all the mistakes made and anything else that was needed to be fixed that was not mentioned in our conversation. Indeed he did send his best guys, Edwin and Ryan were rockstars. Very knowledgeable, all around stand up guys. Now this is the service that I was expecting at the beginning of January when my time with One Hour air began. In conclusion, yes it was really tough at first dealing with the Melbourne store a lot of things that happened shouldn't but they did, but now all the operations are out of Daytona and Dennis is running the show. I can be confident saying the best of service will be given and Dennis will make sure of it!“

“This company obtained an estimate of the ductwork that needed done for a property that I was about to buy. Other AC companies only did an estimate on what they could see because there was no crawlspace (which was a few hundred dollars because you could only see 1/10 of the ductwork due to the lack of crawlspace), but this AC company did a thorough estimate and it was roughly $11,000 to get the ductwork replaced because it was recalled about 10 years ago. The homeowners made a fuss and would not negotiate so I walked. I am so thankful that he was able to do such a thorough inspection and I saved myself a ton of money that I would not have after I bought the home.“

“When our air ducts needed to be replaced, we used Aire Serv and were blown away by the service. First, they scheduled a meeting with their architect Owen, who worked with us to develop a plan that met our preferences. He was careful to explain every obstacle and the options we had. Once we decided to move forward, Aire Serv sent a full team of contractors on short notice to do a very big job... electrician pulling permits, copper lines, the works. Neal, Jason, and Caleb were friendly and professional and after three full days of work at our house they felt like family. They were extremely good with our dog and small child, working around them in a considerate way when necessary. Once the job was done, Aire Serv followed up several times to make sure we were satisfied and had next steps covered, and even sent us a holiday card. Overall, this experience made a stressful decision very easy and enjoyable, and we plan to use this company from now on.

“A large, well known HVAC company checked out my (expensive) 7-year old Carrier Infinity unit for icing up. The short version is that they said the unit shouldn’t be repaired for almost $5,000 but replaced for $10,500. I called Mike for a second opinion.
Mike came out that afternoon. Checked and discovered that my unit still had a parts warranty on it. Order the part and he and Ryan replaced it and recharged the system the next day. It’s working like new for under $1,000 for labor and mostly several pounds of expensive Freon.
You know, we’re all lambs for things like HVAC repair and etc. that you can’t run down to a big box store and get things to fix it yourself. You’re at the mercy of the person and repair company. There are so many out there like that big one that gave me ridiculous options. You need a professional with integrity, and that’s Mike Hillger, the owner of Custom Air and Heat.
