The physical therapists are knowledgable, creative, fitness-forward, and extremely personable so that you look forward to going in. I've seen excellent improvement from being in their care and they do so much good work in the community hosting free seminars to help people all over the DMV area as well!“

Thanks to her, I’m on track to climb Mt Kilimanjaro only a few months after my surgery. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an outstanding physical therapist!“

For the first time in a long time, I’m able to lift the weights I want and get through workouts without constantly having to scale movements.
At the beginning, Sheri used dry needling to help calm my back down, then built a recovery plan around my goals. Since I’m at CrossFit five days a week, she made sure my exercises fit into my schedule instead of giving me a bunch of extra work. She really listened to what I wanted to get back to, and the plan felt realistic, which made it easy to stick with.
I highly recommend Sheri. She genuinely cares, takes the time to listen, and tailors everything to your goals and lifestyle. I’m so grateful for everything she did to help me get back to doing what I love.“

Anthony did not lose focus on the initial issue yet provided treatments and exercises to improve structural weaknesses in order to reduce the risk of injuries. He was responsive to how I progressed during sessions and to my enquiries inbetween. He is both charismatic in conversation and cerebral in his explanations. Perhaps more importantly, he is someone I trust to poke needles in me. The bottom line is that his treatment and exercise program have worked on me. If and when something else on my body needs treatment (I am approaching 50), I will look Anthony up first. (And if he is unavailable look for somebody else from MovementX, having also had a favorable experience with another physio there who had since left.)“

I picked Trupti because of her deep expertise with this injury and her expertise in helping runners become active again. She is extremely detail oriented and spots even the smallest issues in your body, which allows her to design a very tailored program to recovery. Trupti's plan included exercises, stretches, manual therapy, and physical coaching. I was able to go pain free and then back to running in a few months which was very fast.
I highly recommend her!“

From day one, they exhibited unparalleled professionalism, expertise, and genuine care. The team tailored a rehab program that was not only effective but also motivating, keeping me engaged throughout the process.
Their attention to detail in assessing my progress and adjusting my exercises accordingly made all the difference in my recovery. They didn’t just treat my injury—they empowered me with knowledge about proper technique, mobility, and long-term injury prevention.
Beyond the technical excellence, the atmosphere they created was welcoming and positive. Every session felt like a step toward regaining not just my physical strength but also my confidence. Thanks to their guidance, I’m well on my way to full recovery and stronger than ever.
If you’re looking for a physical therapy team that’s knowledgeable, compassionate, and results-driven, MedSTAR Health Physical Therapy at Navy Yard should be your top choice. They truly go above and beyond for their patients.“

The studio is absolutely wonderful, and every instructor there is incredibly professional and knowledgeable. I was also deeply impressed by the positive energy from all the clients I met during my time there.

Most importantly, she does hands on work (including dry needling, cupping and other things) which helps you get immediate relief, while also accompanying this with an excersie plan. You'll get a full hour of 100% attention to you and only you. Highly recommend Pure Sports and Kat!“

#1 if you mask, your provider will automatically put on a K-95 mask! So grateful for this practice
Next, Mollie Kam is the most knowledgeable provider I’ve ever seen on pots, dysautonomia, long covid, hyper-mobility, and FND! She has helped me build up an incredible team of competent providers that actually understand my conditions.
Nura has gone above and beyond to support my pelvic floor needs. They are gender affirming, trauma-informed, and work closely with Mollie to ensure holistic care! As a trans person it makes a huge difference to have a queer pelvic floor provider.
I cannot recommend this practice enough! If you’ve been doing PT elsewhere and getting worse, don’t give up hope, Set might be able to help!“

2604 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington“I’ve been seeing Anne for a couple of years now and she is amazing! She always listens carefully to my complaints and find a way to relieve the pain. I completely trust her approach (rolfing and visceral manipulation). The feeling of freedom and soothing in my body after each session is incredible and it doesn’t fade away like other approaches or practitioners I tried. Even if I’m still learning from my body, I can definitely tell that the physical and overall wellbeing is sustained. She loves what she’s doing, cares for her patients and loves mentioning her teachers and keeps up with training even if she’s already very skilled. I’m so grateful to know her and I couldn’t recommend a better body therapist.“
