“I’ve been a client at Thesis for almost a year. I was looking for more structure in my work outs and also nutritional guidance. Thesis exceeded my expectations! I’m stronger and healthier than I’ve ever been and I know I wouldn’t have been able to achieve this on my own.

Everyone is super friendly and I’ve enjoyed getting to know the trainers and clients. Special shout out to my trainer, Tan! He is an exceptional trainer but also good friend now. A highlight of my week is spending a couple mornings with him. Thanks for helping me reach my goals and supporting me every step of the way!“

“I had the privilege of working with the incredible physical therapy team at MedSTAR Health Physical Therapy at Navy Yard during my Achilles rehab, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From day one, they exhibited unparalleled professionalism, expertise, and genuine care. “I’ve been seeing Anne for a couple of years now and she is amazing! She always listens carefully to my complaints and find a way to relieve the pain. I completely trust her approach (rolfing and visceral manipulation). The feeling of freedom and soothing in my body after each session is incredible and it doesn’t fade away like other approaches or practitioners I tried. Even if I’m still learning from my body, I can definitely tell that the physical and overall wellbeing is sustained. She loves what she’s doing, cares for her patients and loves mentioning her teachers and keeps up with training even if she’s already very skilled. I’m so grateful to know her and I couldn’t recommend a better body therapist.“

“POTSies & Long Covid Sufferers; this is the place for you!!

#1 if you mask, your provider will automatically put on a K-95 mask! So grateful for this practice

Next, Mollie Kam is the most knowledgeable provider I’ve ever seen on pots, dysautonomia, long covid, hyper-mobility, and FND! She has helped me build up an incredible team of competent providers that actually understand my conditions.

Nura has gone above and beyond to support my pelvic floor needs. They are gender affirming, trauma-informed, and work closely with Mollie to ensure holistic care! As a trans person it makes a huge difference to have a queer pelvic floor provider.

I cannot recommend this practice enough! If you’ve been doing PT elsewhere and getting worse, don’t give up hope, Set might be able to help!“

You'll get a full hour of 100% attention to you and only you. Highly recommend Pure Sports and Kat!“

“I cannot recommend Dr. D highly enough!!

I found her after a frustrating few months of misdiagnoses and snowballing minor injuries, during which most of the medical professionals I met basically advised me to take NSAIDs and wear more supportive shoes.

Danelle took a totally different approach. She took my pain seriously and immediately worked to alleviate it using a variety of (very cool) techniques. She deeply understands the mechanics of the body and was able to explain to me in a way that made sense how I had become so injury-prone. The strengthening exercises she set me were manageable, and I appreciated that we didn’t spend a ton of time in session doing the same exercises I was doing on my own.

Maybe most importantly, she was realistic and optimistic about my recovery. I genuinely think the biggest difference in my return to an active lifestyle was someone as smart and experienced as Danelle explaining to me how I’d get there. I really cannot thank her enough!

If you were a competitive dancer in your younger years and suspect that training might have thrown your body mechanics off a bit, I really recommend visiting Dr. D - even if you aren’t currently recovering from an injury. If you have a sports injury of ANY kind, I highly recommend visiting Dr. D.“

“I started seeing Trupti because of persistent calf, back, and hip flexor issues that were significantly limiting daily life. I was struggling with regular walks to and from work and found I couldn't enjoy longer hikes around the city without pain.

What I appreciated most was how carefully she built up my core strength to avoid further injury. She was incredibly adaptive—when I experienced a setback with neck pain early on, she shifted gears immediately to address it without stalling my overall progress. Through a combination of manual massage, dry needling, and progressive strengthening routines, she has helped me establish a much stronger foundation for continuing an active lifestyle.

I highly recommend Trupti for anyone looking for a physical therapist who is highly skilled, responsive to individual needs, and focused on getting you back to your daily routine.“

“Kyra is an excellent physical therapist. She tailors her hands-on work and exercises precisely. She is also a yoga teacher and uses this expertise also. The home exercises were well planned to build on each other. She takes time to listen and provide thoughtful responses. If she doesn’t know something she says so and suggests other resources.

The ambiance is pleasant. It is a busy office and sometimes if it’s very busy it’s a bit less restful. They have water, achanging room with lockers, a place to charge phones, funny cartoons on the wall about PT, and a well ordered space. The front desk people are kind and helpful.“

Big League Performance and Rehab Physical Therapy

“As someone who has been in physical therapy for most of my life and is very conscious of the cost of care, I cannot express enough how much I have valued the investment I’ve made at Big League Physical Therapy. I genuinely refer to my PT, Anna Claire, as a miracle worker for what she has done to help put my shoulder back together. As my training progressed and new issues naturally came up, she was always excellent at adapting and addressing whatever I was dealing with. This is not “show up for one issue” care. This is holistic care from PTs who are personally invested in your success. Even therapists who have not treated me directly know my story, my goals, and what I’m working toward, and that creates such a warm, encouraging environment. Every session is a full hour and always feels intentional. It usually starts with about five minutes talking through how my body has been feeling, followed by roughly 25 minutes of soft tissue work or dry needling. I know dry needling can sound intimidating, especially if you hate needles like I do, but trust me, it has been life-changing. The final 30 minutes are spent on specific, targeted, and challenging exercises designed to lengthen and strengthen the right muscles. After each session, my at-home exercises are conveniently uploaded to the PT Everywhere app, so I always know exactly what my “homework” is. And to top it all off, Meatball, the clinic’s adorable senior golden retriever, sometimes makes an appearance and makes the experience even better by wandering around and giving love boops while you work out. Physical and mental care all in one. I truly cannot recommend Big League PT enough. You will be so thankful you made the commitment“
