“12-7-2025 Sunday. I had woke up only to smell like a burning smell. Was thinking the blower unit fan. Had shut down the unit. Had called Crowell who installed the unit when the house was built in 2007. Was kind of jonesen due to the cold temps coming. Brian had come out and had fixed the unit.
Had gotten to know Brian over the years and is extremely knowledgeable and won't screw you over like most HVAC people. For all the negative reviews I just don't see it . I repair manufacturing equipment CNC'S and robotics completely different from HVAC. Kudos to Crowell“

“For timeliness, these guys were second to none. I called, and they happened to have an opening the very next day. My wife works from home and I was away that day. She felt secure with Andrew and Alex. Their professional and friendly demeanors enabled her to feel safe home alone; and undisturbed for the most part while she worked her job, and they worked theirs. We had sensitivities to stuff coming out of the ducts prior to NAQS's arrival. After their cleaning and sanitizing of the ducts and vents, the atmosphere was markedly improved. The air is significantly cleaner, fresher.I would give them 5 stars, but they had promised pictures, which we haven't ever received. “A broken pipe under the driveway caused wet patches to appear on concrete. Plumbing Service located the leak with special equipment and repaired it without major digging. The surface dried completely.“

“My HVAC system was 35 years old and I was in need of replacement for heating and air.
I interviewed four HVAC companies before Midstate Mechanical.
The four companies showed up with nice vehicles and fancy software but some couldn't answer simple questions like how many years of experience do your installers have, because I read that the installation is key to a successful HVAC system.

To the rescue Midstate Mechanical.
Very easy to work with, knowledgeable and with decades of experience. They were able to install a second zone and a two Stage system for less than the price that others were quoting for a single stage single zone.

I was extremely impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, and diagnostic approach. Rather than jumping to conclusions, he took the time to understand the history of the system, thoroughly inspect it, and explain what he was seeing in a way that made sense.

What stood out most was that he wasn’t looking for the easiest answer or trying to sell me something. He methodically worked through the possibilities, checked the system pressures, inspected the components, and explained his findings regarding the high head pressure, potential refrigerant flow issues, and the missing filter drier.

He also commented on the condition of the system, including how clean the indoor and outdoor coils were and how well the filter had been maintained, which I appreciated because it showed he was paying attention to the details.

We originally applied for a Home Energy Audit through the state, and Terado came to our house to conduct the audit and provide us with an estimate for the work. Jaden and Dontel came to our house to insulate our walls through the exterior and insulate our basement ceiling, as well as providing an attic hatch cover. They were so careful not to break our exterior shakes and the house looked pristine after they were gone (like we never had the house insulated).
