I got my hair done by Jade! She did amazing on my hair. I seriously got compliments the next day by multiple people on how beautiful the color and hairstyle was. I highly recommend her. About six months ago or so I got my haircut by Yatzari And with the description I gave her she was able to execute an extremely clean cut with minimal fade that made me look fresh AF. As a pround Stocktonian I love history and this place is truly a test of time. Did Y'all know that this building was built in the very early 1910's yes ladies and gentlemen the first decade of the turn of a century. Then even after the hard hit of the great depression the Rose Barbershop surpassed the 1920's and long long after. Think about it this place got to see the early years of the Ford Boom, The Gold miner days, the last of the ending era of true cowboys who ventured into Stockton. That's just a part of some history this Barber shops catered to the Filipino society as well then The Grand Stockton Hotel. So mush history surrounds this place. It has been a plaxe of community, friends, family for 109 years and counting the new owner Steven had done a marvelous job on restoration on this beautiful land mark. The Golden Rose Barber shop is not JUST the oldest functional Barber shop in California BUT it is both the oldest, one of the few first barber shops still operating since 1917 west of the Rockies. I think the Barber shop however was tsking customers several years before 1917. This still is so very cool.
Steven takes pride in his craft. Come on in and make a appointment or see if a walk by is available. I will be back to get get another hair detox/deep Condition it paid $45 completely worth it.

Tracy is wonderful! She really did an amazing full set for my first appointment with her. I asked for a spring mushroom design and she painted my nails beautifully. When I went back for a St. Patricks day set, she listened to my ideas and painted a cute marbled green and gold glitter design for me. Someone else walked in without an appointment while I was getting my nails done and they sat for about an hour until mine were done, so it seems other people really like her too and are willing to wait for her. She offers water and she is so nice! I really enjoy getting my nails done with her! I can't wait to go back this week for a fill with some more cute designs! I'm going to treat myself to a pedicure too! I'm sure her pedicures are just as great as her manicures.

got my brows done with LAURAN & had a wonderful experience ! my brows came out perfect; they were great at communicating what suggested be done and attentively listened to my own requests well ! when i’ve gotten my brows done in the past, i was never brow mapped or anything extra and just cleaned up, but paid a similar price to ulta/benefit’s pricing ! lauran gave me the most valuable experience suggesting a different shape to my brows and it really framed my face SO much better than i could’ve imagined ! i was even offered complimentary water/coffee/tea, an undereye mask and a brow fill in case i didnt wanna leave with bare/makeup-less brows ! lauran also taught me step-by-step on how to fill in my brows and set them - theyre so professional and i can tell they have a lot of knowledge and are passionate at what they do ! definitely recommend LAURAN and will be seeing them for as long as i can :)

All the artists and piercer are welcoming, friendly, and joke around with each other and clients too. Lose Tattoo has already done 7 of my tattoos and each session has been great. The vibes Lose provides, how he socializes and his creativity in tattooing, I fw with it heavy. There’s been a few pieces where I asked for him to get creative and he sure did by making the tattoo better than I envisioned. One session after finishing up the outlines, I used numbing spray I personally brought and I had a weird reaction to it. Lose handled it perfectly, he reacted fast, was calm, washed it off quickly, and was understanding. I appreciated that. Water heater stopped working the night before, called Mr Ed’s Plumbing & Rooter Service early in the morning and was given an appointment for a service call later that afternoon.
Edward the assigned Technician arrived on time and prior to his arrival sent a text letting me know that he was on his way. Once on site he reviewed the issue and went over various options. Provided a quote, I agreed and the water heater was installed all on the same day.

Stephen came to unclog my kitchen sink drain. He was careful, and answered all my questions (I like a repair person who is willing to explain things). He showed me the blockage and used the auger to clear the pipes then ran water to make sure it got flushed out. He also answered a question about a bathroom sink stopper. They were prompt (I called the evening before and the owner Al called me right back) and able to fit me in on the Friday before July 4th. Fair price, honest, efficient. Would use them again!
I called JS& Sons today to check one of our rental properties where my tenants had no water, they were out there in less than an hour and got the issue diagnosed quick! Great communication and customer service. Will keep on reaching out to them for the rest of our properties in the area.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Ramon was an excellent communicator who was patient with my decision making and very helpful in providing guidance and suggestions. When extra work needed to be done, Ramon clearly explained everything. I knew every day what was being done on that day and the plan for the next day. He and his crew did outstanding work and were friendly. The entire exterior required extensive scraping of the wood siding, and the crew spent many hours making sure every spot was scraped correctly and thoroughly. All exposed spaces were carefully covered. A few wood sections required replacement, and, after, I couldn't tell where this happened because the work was so carefully completed. They cleaned up at the end of every day, leaving equipment and materials stored in the back. In addition to painting the exterior, the crew removed an arch in the bathroom, rebuilding the wall and ceiling. The bathroom now looks like it was originally built without the arch. Then the bathroom was expertly painted.My only negative is about me: I should have posted this several months ago. I wanted to say thank you to Manuel for his prompt service. We were collecting junk for a trash collection day. We found out bees decided to build a hive and take over an old foam headboard . Dr. Kim is a great veterinarian. He has been the only vet willing to go hands on with our anxious german shepherd. We went to him for a second opinion and he gave us a safer and alternative route to treating our dogs dental issues and definitely had the health and safety of our pup at the forefront of our appointment. He also saved us 1000.00, as another local vet wanted to charge us for an unnecessary procedure. Highly recommend this vet!

It was my16 yr old cats follow up for a skin allergy. I was very pleased with the care of my cat (Sky). Everyone was very friendly and the Dr was awesome. Her skin looks good now I bring my other fur baby (Sampson) here also. Very good. Vet clinic. Prices are reasonable too

Super easy to schedule appointments! I had a quasi-emergency with one of my critters and her regular vet could not see her until the next week. Even the local emergency clinics turned us down. I contacted Walker and, thanks to Fred, the cat in question was seen the very next day! I immediately had all of her records transferred and made Walker her permanent clinic. Dr. Hung is terrific and the staffs are very personable and efficient. Thank you!

I cannot thank this place enough! They did everything possible to save my cat after being blocked with crystals. He was quickly going downhill. Dr. Dhaliwal was extremely professional! He was patient and calm until my cat was comfortable around him before doing the exam. He explained everything thoroughly and went over different options. Nothing was rushed.
In the end my cat did end up requiring surgery. All the front and back staff were extremely caring and nice towards my pet. We continued going for follow up visits and it is now to the point where my skiddish cat is no longer scared to be there.
The office is very busy but they do try to see you in a timely manner. They are also open late so if your pet has a longer procedure, you can pick up your pet in the evening.

I would highly recommend Hardin Animal Hospital. My cat Stella was very sick and they got her in right away. The entire staff was so nice and took excellent care of my baby. The office visit price is the most reasonable in the area at only $45. They worked within our budget and my Stella girl is already feeling better after her first dose of meds they gave her. Francine was incredible with my dog. She was available on such a short notice and took amazing care of my dog! She took all of mine and my dog’s needs into consideration. My dog is extremely anxious and shy, and so she took it very slow with him. She sent me photos of him throughout his stay and within the hour I dropped my dog off, she sent me a photo of my dog cuddling her, and I knew he was in good hands :)! During my most recent visit, I came in with significant tightness and discomfort, and she spent time working through my hips, legs, shoulders, forearms, and back. I have found my home! Starting from when you walk in, it’s very calm and clean, everyone was very nice. I got the hour lymphatic massage from CECILY and let me tell you! She was wonderful. She made me feel very comfortable and she took her time and worked on all my problem areas, she has super soft hands lol and her massage was the perfect pressure considering what I came in for. I love coming to Ping’s Massage! My posture is almost always bad, but every time I go, I leave feeling so relaxed and with much better posture. My lower back pain goes away, and the back cracking?? 😭😂 It sounded SO satisfying and felt incredibly relieving! You should definitely come try it out 🤭

I have been interested in somatic experiencing and massage and was glad to find Chrissy right here in Stockton! I am slowing making my way through all of Chrissy’s offerings and most recently did a breathwork session with her. It was an incredible experience that mixed breathing and music tailored to my tastes that had me crying, feeling, visualizing, and being present in my body in a way that I have struggled with lately. After suffering nerve damage from a headlock,… I pulled away when I should have rolled into it, furniture be damned,…. I found myself unable to work, unable to sleep, and was in constant nearly unbearable pain for three weeks and was not getting better. After 5 sessions, I was massively better and a week after treatment, it all just seemed like a bad dream. The needles won’t go where you will expect them to, trust the process. Infinite thank yous!
After clearing up a discrepancy in regards to a co pay. Everything is great, he is very professional, caring and considerate. When I leave a message, they call me back. They are busy so they usually do not answer the phone. Stop by, they are very helpful and attentive.

First thing’s first…after my 17 year-old son took all three required behind-the-wheel classes with Jack, he passed the DMV road test on his first attempt with a score of 96/100. That says all one needs to know when determining how successful Central Valley Driving School is with teaching high school students to not only be proficient, but to be defensive drivers.
What also needs to be mentioned, though, is that Jack takes this business very seriously, but he is also a very compassionate person. He is extremely communicative, especially via text, and very dependable. His students’ success is absolutely the most important thing to him, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the overall service from this fantastic company!
Price is also the best I’ve seen, so I would give Jack and his company a 6-star rating if it was available.

I graduated from 160 Driving Academy today originally I was born in Guyana where I worked as a police officer and worked in asset protection. I came here as an immigrant and did regular work before at 60+ years old. I met Sam at 160 Driving Academy I had an idea about truck driving but was not convinced I had to get the money and did not know what direction to go in. I was inspired by the mentor and the interviewer Sam in the office who got me the loan to pursue my goals and ambitions. I had to work five days a week and two days of school, which was tough, but the sacrifice was worthwhile. I advised anyone aiming to get a CDL to go for it. It is a wide open field and a job that will change your life. It will put your family in a more stable and secure environment.
