I graduated from 160 Driving Academy today originally I was born in Guyana where I worked as a police officer and worked in asset protection. I came here as an immigrant and did regular work before at 60+ years old. I met Sam at 160 Driving Academy I had an idea about truck driving but was not convinced I had to get the money and did not know what direction to go in. I was inspired by the mentor and the interviewer Sam in the office who got me the loan to pursue my goals and ambitions. Before 160 I did hard work in the agriculture and construction industry. I needed a new career path, I was tired of being laid off and looking into CDL training, felt this could be a great career for me. I visited 160, met Sam who helped me connect with Ca Human Development who gave me the opportunity to train here. I probably wouldve given up due to costs had it not been for the resources Sam shared and CHD was very helpful. I want to thank 160 for this life changing opportunity to start a new career.
