***Uber for Locksmiths*** The person answering the phone clearly works for some kind of answering service but put me in touch with “their” technician (I assume they’re distributing jobs to freelancers just like Uber does). The technician showed up in an unmarked panel van, was not in uniform, and had someone else in the van with them. I assume a family member. Also, only took cash payment, no cards, and wanted full payment up front. None of these are dealbreakers for me, but did give me pause. All’s well that ends well, my ignition is once again working as it should and didn’t take that long.
