Honey Yoga Yoga

“I absolutely love Honey yoga. I've been intimidated by yoga studios in the past but in December I took the leap with Honey and it's been such an amazing experience. Their instructors and staff are so lovely. I've attended HIIT, slow, flow, Hi-Lo and restore each class has helped me relax and become present. Yes, even HIIT - it's beginner friendly and the instructors are so encouraging.“

Bodywork by Bobbi Wellness Center Yoga

“Excellent massage therapy session with Eijon (Ee-EYE-jon). An Armed Forces veteran with a gentle demeanor and holistic massage training, he applied pressure at just the right amounts where he found knots and tightness, especially in my shoulders and low back, which had been hurting me for the past couple of days. The small office and massage room are quiet, cell phone free zones that make you feel relaxed the second you walk in the door. I found their fee for a 50 minute Swedish massage to be less than some of the other "upscale" places I've contacted in the San Carlos area. I would highly recommend bodywork by Bobbi and, if he's available, Eijon. Booking online was fast and simple. Don't go to one of those cheap foot massage places if you need a therapeutic massage. Go here. This will be my go to place for therapeutic massage from now on.“

Root and Soul Yoga

“Dr. Shani Cooper is a miracle worker. I visited Root & Soul for a knee injury that had me limping, and the results were immediate. Beyond her technical skill, Dr. Shani is so caring and professional. She took the time to explain the process and clearly knows her craft inside and out. I woke up the next morning 100% pain-free. Truly an amazing experience!“

Club Pilates Yoga

“Love love love Club Pilates! All the instructors are amazing and have their own style. Stacy Carlock - I cannot say enough good things about her. She is the reason I signed up and one of my most favorite instructors. She is fun, a ray of sunshine and just as important she knows how to teach. She gives excellent instruction for correct form. I feel like she truly cares. Another fav is Rhonda, super funny and her classes kick my butt. Actually both Stacy and Rhonda's bar classes I really feel the next day! Stacy Evans, Julie and Jennica are also fantastic. They really all are. There is something for everyone, from center and balance when I want a relaxing moment to a bar class when I want a major workout and everything in between. Club Pilates has changed my life. I no longer have knee pain, my hips and back feel so much better and my ankle strength (lots of rolled ankles in the past) is much better. I feel more stable. But it's the mental aspect of it that makes it 1000 times worth it. It's like meditation for me... the one hour a day I focus on only what the instructor is saying. My stress melts away and I feel better all around. Highly recommend!“

Pure Power PILATES + Fitness Yoga

“I'm new to Pilates and can't recommend this place enough! The small class size—just five people—means you get plenty of personalized attention, and the instructors are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and supportive.

After struggling with back pain for years, my doctor recommended physical therapy and Pilates. I ended up focusing on Pilates, and I’m so glad I did—my back pain is completely gone.

Chloe’s class is my favorite—she’s amazing!“

“Wonderful massage! Mia spent extra time on all my trouble spots.
I did the table shower since it was the middle of the day and that was a great option. The shower is before your massage not after.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. I set up an appointment the day before, but pretty sure they allow walk-ins when the can.
Located in a clean, not too busy area with good traffic flow.“

Optimum Condition Yoga

“Thanks to Melissa at Optimum Condition, the exercise program she designed for me has paid off. I had a bone scan sometime ago and I there's good news from my doctor. He said I don't have to go back on the medication I was taking to prevent osteoporosis. in fact, there's been an improvement in my hip and lower back. I had been taking a medication that I was told I would be on for the rest of my life because of my weak bones. But the exercising has helped me build muscle and strengthen my bones, so now I'm off the medication. Some years ago, I had a stroke. Melissa designed a program that has helped me in my rehabilitation, and improve my strength and balance. She understands how the body works and how it can repair itself, which has been the case with my weak bones. I'm very grateful to her“

My metabolism degraded with sitting and working for long hours. This method benefitted me to regain my strength and improved digestion and metabolism, also improved triglycerides levels a lot. Andrew is excellent teacher and very friendly. Very lucky to be have him in San Diego and learning yoga with him.“

Club Pilates Yoga

“Just started my Pilates journey, I was really nervous about it for no reason.I took a free 30 min class before signing up and Sahar won me over. By far my favorite instructor here. I'm only 3 classes in but really enjoying it. I went with the unlimited pass so I could take as many classes as I want a month. Since it's lighter strain I wanted to be able to do more. When you start you have to stick to level 1 or 1.5 when you get more acclimated. Since it's a small studio classes fill up fast. The app is really easy to use though. I book all my classes a week or two in advance. Since level 1 gets filled up and since I work it's hard to take the mid day classes. Even if you are new to Pilates the instructors are very friendly and accommodating to meet your fitness level. They will show you how to work the machines and the right positions. New lingo to learn but you'll catch on after a class or two.So far booking ahead has worked for me. Each instructor is different so you'll never experience the same class twice. We use a variety of different weights and tools along with the reformer to build our strength. I was sore after my first class! Just a heads up I do recommend taking the free crash course if you have never done Pilates before then sign up. You are locked in for the first 3 months and then you can cancel anytime after that. And there is fee for last minute cancellations.“
