If you need some exquisite custom woodwork Jitandra is your guy. He is a passionate, dedicated artist. He made this crazy project of curved barn doors for us and he really put his heart into it, he paid attention to all the details. The result was beautiful. Each and every contractor coming in our house (and we had many) are amazed by his work. We got in touch with Jitendra a long while after our project was finished for other advice and he provided his professional advice without hesitation. He is one of those contractors that you can trust without the need to be worried that things might go wrong. I think we've found a winner! Of all times of the year to need electrical work done NOW, this is not the time of year I would have chosen; & phoning every contact I had in my business card file got me absolutely nowhere. We came across Rocky Hill Electric in a search of nearby electricians this morning; Ben was on site to see what we needed done & place a bid by noon; & Neyko was there to complete the project a short time later. Both Ben & Neyko were friendly, professional, & we are both pleased with the quality of the work. On top of that, Neyko mentioned that he saw a few items done by other electricians that he thought could be done better, & gave us a quote to fix them. Since we recently discovered that our "old" electrician did work that wasn't up to code, I am happy to have found someone who knows what they're doing & will stand behind their work.

I recently was in town and had the best tanning experience with Bri! Bri was incredibly sweet and made the entire process enjoyable. The location is easy to find, with plenty of parking available, which made my visit stress-free. The airbrush tanning process was simple and quick, and I loved how she blended my hands and feet for a natural look. The setting powder was a great touch, leaving me feeling dry and fresh, and it smelled amazing! I also appreciated the thorough instructions provided for both pre- and post-tan care. Following their guidelines made a significant difference in the results and longevity of my tan. I received numerous compliments on my tan and I can't wait to return to Lucky Bumble the next time I'm in town!
I have been meaning to write a review for a couple weeks . i saw Emily a few weeks back for a spray tan. I found her on Yelp, i had not had a spray tan in years , so i was a bit nervous . It could not have been any better of a experience. It's a pretty valuable experience to be standing naked in front of a stranger but she could not have made me feel any more comfortable and i was thrilled the next day to see the end result , no streaking , no weird smell and most important NO ORANGE undertones. Lasted well over a week. Only thing that i would love is to have to option to have the tan that you can shower in a few hours , other than that 10 out of 10! Thanks Emily !

Anna is precise, and the quality of her service is the best I’ve found in my nail experiences in Marin and even SF. I love that she keeps her salon humble and services only single clients at a time. So relaxing and peaceful. Walk-ins welcome. However, appointments preferred. She's great at ensuring your appointment is met and timely. Tina offers only quality service and only quality products. My normal goto style is a pink n white French. However, today, I chose to have Tina choose for me and check it out...Love, love, love my Tap hybrid gel overlay. This product is so light. Feels so natural. And I love the shine. Tina's prices are very fair compared to other salons I've tried for the comparable services. So many salons have had to raise their costs to operate . I have not experienced this with Tina. I had such a great experience with Nancy 1 (yes, there are two Nancys here!) and LyLy. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make sure my nails looked perfect and I felt relaxed.
LyLy’s pedicure skills are next level—she’s meticulous with every little detail, and her massage was honestly one of the best I’ve had. Nancy 1 is warm, friendly, and you can tell she truly cares about each client. My dip manicure turned out beautifully, and she gave an amazing massage as well.
For the quality of service, the prices are more than fair. The appointment went by so quickly, and at checkout, Nancy 1 even reminded me about my stamp card (13th visit is free!) which was such a nice bonus.

Love this place! Warm nurturing environment. The most comfortable beds to lay on. I go for lash tinting and love their technique. You don’t ever have to worry about your eyes burning from the cleanser like Benefit and other places. The coziest recliners to lay back on while getting your treatment.

I have personally been going to Ann 40 years and even though that is forever, she continually surprises me with how up to date and modern she is. Always continuing her education with new styles and the latest products she also sells in her salon. Her color and haircutting expertise is beyond compare anywhere in Marin or the bay. She is an owner/operator and has a gorgeous salon with other stylists available as well. Make an appointment because they are that booked and the cancellation list is quite long if you feel lucky. There is, in my opinion, no other salon to go to

What a wonderful experience! She has a great little studio set up with a private room for facials and larger room displaying all the products for sale - which she doesn't "push" on you. I love my permanent eyeliner! Erika did an incredibly good job-- so glad I found her and that she applied her artistic skill to my eyes. I had another permanent eye makeup experience years ago with someone else that was horribly traumatising so to get such a great result with almost no pain, in only 45 mins, and with a touch up appointment included has been a wonder. It really is the best beauty treatment I've ever had in terms of overall positive impact on my appearance and self image. I was scared the first week post procedure that I had gone too dark but I'm a month out now since my touch up and it's perfect. I can tell it's going to last a long time. I love getting sugared by Tesa. I've been going to her for over two years now because of the awesome service and comfortable environment she provides. My legs were so sensitive when I would shave, every time they would get red and bumpy and cause ingrown hairs/infections. If you have sensitive skin like me then I 100% recommend sugaring. You have to be patient and okay with the hairs growing out but it's worth the sacrifice. There is seriously no better feeling than leaving an appointment with Tesa and having smooth legs!! She is thorough and really knows what she's doing. I always get the lower half of my legs done but have occasionally sugared my arms and bikini area as well, and was equally satisfied with the results. Tesa herself is awesome. She's extremely professional and friendly. What is typically a 45 min service (for half legs) almost always turns into a longer visit because because I have such a great time chatting with her and catching up. I always look forward to my next appointment!

that kind of response is really unusual. He repaired
the leak - even as he did not have the particular
part needed in his truck supply.
His fee was quite reasonable - particularly in view
of the extra time required to find the necessary
part.
When I examined the below-sink plumbing repair, the
quality of the repair work was perfectly obvious.
And there was no mess left behind. Arreaga was
both courteous and friendly.
As we all know, if you call a plumbing company on a
Friday afternoon because of a sudden leak in a
kitchen sink, two outcomes are very likely:
(a) the company indicates that they cannot
come to your home until the following week, or
(b) prompt service means an 'emergency repair'
at especially high rates.
Arreaga not only showed up that afternoon, even
as it was 6 PM or later when the repair was
completed. Yet, there were no surcharges.
Indeed, his fee was perfectly reasonable.

We own a few apartment units in San Rafael. We've used Testa Plumbing for years whenever we have plumbing issues on the property. Just this week, one of our tenants had a problem with a faucet not shutting off...I called Testa and within an hour, a service technician was able to stop by and fix the problem. Of all times of the year to need electrical work done NOW, this is not the time of year I would have chosen; & phoning every contact I had in my business card file got me absolutely nowhere. We came across Rocky Hill Electric in a search of nearby electricians this morning; Ben was on site to see what we needed done & place a bid by noon; & Neyko was there to complete the project a short time later. Both Ben & Neyko were friendly, professional, & we are both pleased with the quality of the work. On top of that, Neyko mentioned that he saw a few items done by other electricians that he thought could be done better, & gave us a quote to fix them. Since we recently discovered that our "old" electrician did work that wasn't up to code, I am happy to have found someone who knows what they're doing & will stand behind their work.

Great response time and service. Our refrigerator broke while we were on vacation. A National Appliance repairperson arrived within a couple of hours of our service request. Charlie immediately diagnosed the problem. He had the refrigerator up and running, ordered the repair parts to be sure the problem didn't repeat, and came back two days later to install. Pricing was reasonable and fair. It was great dealing with a knowledgeable professional.

Peter Masi's Master Cleaners is exceptional. He and his wife, Sheila, and team cleaned and repaired the borders of a prized century-old heirloom Persian rug that was purchased in Berkeley by Terese's grandparents, Marion and C.E. Sullivan. The results were fabulous. Peter, however, went beyond our expectations when he responded to concerns that the rug was rippling across a new pad. He drove an hour to see for himself, pondered the problem, and decided it was the pad. Masi replaced it, and the problem vanished. We found Peter to be informative, engaging, and a man of his word. He and his team are simply the best.

Off the charts great. Superb old time skills with wooden flooring, techniques and finish. They extended wooden flooring in my 90yr old $1.6m cottage and it looks (and feels) wonderful. Larry Klosowski and his able team of Glenn and Steve, spent roughly two weeks refinishing a few thousand square feet of hardwood flooring in our home. Larry and his team operated very carefully in our home, caused no collateral damage to walls or anything else, fulfilled every commitment they made, and completed the job on time. Service afterwards was also spectacular. Price was reasonable. If I will ever need more work done to the floors, Rode Brothers will be the company I call first.

Wow. The (3) fences built by Above the Rest recently have far exceeded our expectations. They are well-built, stunning fences, and after having gotten a number of estimates from builders in Marin, feel as if we got the best value possible. They have three teams of builders and we had a number of guys here-- they are all great. There were a number of nuances and untraditional elements to what we were asking for and they went out of their way to execute in the best way possible. Sergio and family/team were absolutely amazing, even returning a couple of times after completion to ensure some finishing touches were tip-top, and working in the blazing heat/full sun remaining dedicated to correcting a tricky problem-- TRUE PROFESSIONALS. I bought a Valor gas insert here 9 years ago. It's worked great until recently I had trouble shutting it down. I called Hearth and Home and Scott helped me determine the most likely cause over the phone...the receiver, which needs to be replaced every 7 years on average. I came into the store and he showed me how to remove it and change it out with a new one myself, saving me an expensive service visit. I successfully changed it out and it's working perfectly again. This store sells a great product with wonderful customer service!
I have been working with Mike Millsap and Doug Degnan on several projects for our home renovation and they are great. I've always felt communication was clear, and expectations were realistic. I've really appreciated their guidance throughout several processes, whether it be design considerations, recommendations for various specialists across tile, soil or electrical and knowledge sharing in our preparation to submit applications to the county. I hired Even to bolt my house's frame to the foundation. He did a fantastic job and went above and beyond. First, he helped me understand what aspects of seismic retrofitting were worth pursuing, and once I made the decision, he made it happen. His team worked quickly, and got things done in a very short time frame given the extent of the work, and they left the house looking beautiful. I would definitely work with Evan again (in fact I just asked him for a quote for another job).

We have worked with Zach and the team at G on two hardscape projects over the last five years. In both, we basically had the design vision, and Zach helped us refine it and execute on it. We are very pleased with the result of the projects, both of which have made our home more comfortable and enabled us to realize indoor-outdoor living. The projects included large poured concrete pads for the front walk, laying of prefabricated concrete pavers on the sideyard and back, a pergola and deck, and lighting, drainage, and the main irrigation lines throughout.Zach was very responsive, and his team leads knew their stuff and were very friendly easy to work with. The pavers on the side- and back-yard took longer than Zach had initially planned for, in part because this was a product his team had never worked with. Nonetheless, they stuck with it and did a good job with the grading and fulfilled our rather complicated design vision perfectly. Guests always comment on how nice the pavers look. Zach's team was also kind to all our established plants in the process, which is not always the case in hardscaping efforts. The team coordinated well with other contractors, too, as we had window replacements and fencing occurring at the same time.Both projects were very reasonable in their price given the labor involved.We highly recommend working with G on your next landscaping project!(*Note that messy plantings in the photos are fully our responsibility, not that of G).

I'm a DIY guy and always feel welcomed here. * friendly staff: I've called ahead and they've always been happy to help by answering questions, checking on inventory, and they've even had certain parts transferred from their neighboring stores. They are usually in a good mood and excited to see you. * great selection: they carry a wide supply of top brands like Hunter, Netafim, Toro, etc. In addition to drip irrigation products like valves, hoses, fittings, couplings, and emitters, they also carry many other landscape-related products like lighting, turf, tools, etc. * low prices: they will get you very competitive prices, as low as what you might find online but without the shipping and handling! I've shopped across the three big irrigation supply stores in San Rafael and SiteOne is often the lowest priced, and sometimes has been significantly. * far superior than the local hardware store (orange included.): 10x better selection, staff that will actually help you, and better prices. * they don't advertise that they accept returns but they do. I've found that if you treat them with courtesy you'll get treated like a VIP.
Jose was very prompt in responding to my request for a bid and came out in a few days. He provided the most competitive bid out of three I received. I ended up only doing half the job for now due to my finances, but he was very amenable and started right away on replacement of my irrigation system and installing a beautiful path of pavers surrounded by pebbles. Will use him again for any big jobs!
Rainbow Landscape did a fantastic job installing artificial grass on our front lawn, starting with removing our grass lawn. They were extremely responsive, quick with a quote, and were able to fit our smaller project in between larger jobs. (They're getting busy now, with the drought.) The lawn looks absolutely beautiful, and they started and finished it the same day. The crew is also experienced and professional, and prices were fair.

I started going to MCC about a year ago for neck pain resulting in headaches and inability to be as active as usual. The doctors were super thorough and provided me with a detailed plan to treat my neck pain and improve my overall alignment. It all worked amazingly and my body has continued to align from years of injuries, trauma, bad posture, and just wear and tear. I continue to go for maintenace and it has been life changing. The doctors and staff are super kind and professional.
Dr. iLYA SKOLNIKOFF has helped me a great deal with my left hip pain which just today was about a six out of 10 pain and now it’s almost gone after my second visit with Dr. Skolnikoff. My constipation has greatly decreased…. It hasn’t been like this for years after just one visit…. The thing I like about this place is that they have acupuncture Meridian, balancing and emotional therapies and herbs and homeopathy and flower, essences and kinesiology. I really don’t know of any other place that offers all of these things and one location and on healthcare provider….

I have had around 15 appointments with Dr Joseph for the pain in my lower back. About 6 years ago I experienced and NDE - was hit by a car while ridding a bicycle. I have experienced back and neck pain ever since the accident at age 15, currently I am 21. After my first appointment I noticed immediate relief in the sore, tense, pain that had built up in my lower back and neck. This impacted my day-to-day in many negative ways and with every appointment I feel my body relax. These appointment have helped shape my daily life into a more positive and efficient environment.
I’m visiting Dr. Drew and he is treating my Frenchies for spine health as well, I know, very Marin. More like San Rafael. I’m getting adjustments to support my low back and hips, the same as Penny and Bazzi. He also does horses offsite, Right? I found Dr. Drew looking for cold or hot laser to help with my Psoas, I am also doing ultrasound treatments once a week after each session, using multiple modalities to facilitate free movement. The team is great and Dr. Drew gives good clean adjustments for spinal care. This is a great local resource.

I have seen Dr. Berry, chiropractor, several times, and each time received excellent care. I had felt my occiput needed attention for a long while before seeing her, but had not directly mentioned it during my intake. During my second session, Dr. Berry mentioned it to me, and that is when I knew she was an excellent diagnostician. She is one of the most thorough chiropractors I have ever seen, and also the most gentle. Her office has easy parking and a lovely waiting room. Appointments are easily made by texting, and she is always very responsive. I highly recommend her for her vast experience and her proven results.
Dr Zollner has tremendous gifts as a gentle, kind and talented healer. I came to him after bilateral hip surgeries that left my frame out of balance. His adjustments and expert suggestions have put me firmly on the road to comfort and balance again. He is a master at his craft.

I’m a dentist and have seen numerous chiropractors and physical therapists throughout my career but Dr. Lee is by far the best practitioner I’ve ever worked with! He’s extremely knowledgeable and spends a lot of time to personalize appointments for me. He takes 30 mins to not only do adjustments but a lot of muscle work and educating me on what I can do differently to avoid problems in the future. Could not recommend him more! Be sure to schedule appointments out because he’s usually booked up for several months. Testament to how amazing he is

I absolutely love North Thai Body Work & Thai Massage. I’ve been going there at least once a month for almost a year and I recommend them to everyone I know. Their space is clean and inviting, and the staff is wonderful. Peter at the front desk is lovely and can usually fit me in when I call last minute for a massage. I usually go to Patty (her hands are a bit stronger-if you like a lot of pressure), but Emma also does an amazing job, she just has a bit of a softer touch! 10/10 recommend!
Christina is magical! I saw her after my first pregnancy to help with some postpartum aches and pains. Most recently she has gotten me through my second pregnancy - I’ve had a lot of hip and back pain and feel so much better after Christina’s body work. Her space is welcoming, peaceful and she knows just how to melt away the stress and pressures facing the pregnant body!

Well, I’m officially a Binh convert. I’ve had many massages and they’ve run the gamut, from Golden Island just right down the street, to $300 massages in Calistoga. Nothing compares to Binh. While all of those massages felt good, they always left me feeling a bit beat up, too (I prefer a ton of pressure - like, if I didn’t sweat and clench my teeth, did I even get a massage?).
Binh’s approach is different because he knows what the body needs. His intuition seems to direct him to the spots where there’s tension and injury, and he seems to know how to address the areas - and even more so, how to address the areas around the tension, in order to facilitate release.
He’s also very kind and mellow, humble and chill. I swim an hour daily and have a long history of competitive exercise and fitness-related injuries, so I’m always a little tender and sore. So glad to have found Binh - he’s like if a foam roller were a human - he’s a true healer.
I just finished an energy work session with Sonny. I felt incredible after getting off the table. So relaxing. She is very professional and has a kind demeanor. Phenomenal!! If you are looking for the best, do not hesitate. I look forward to seeing her again.

So this is one of these storefront Asian massage places. It's next to one of the very few Asian markets in Marin which is kind of convenient for me. Seems to be only one woman working there currently. Her English is OK, not sure what the other review is on about.The place is new so it's clean and nice looking but it's not a "spa" or even really as nice as a lot of the appointment only places. But it's way way less dodgy than most of the drop in options in the area. Sort of a middle ground option, if you will.The massage is really good. She listens to you and adjusts accordingly which is nice.So really, no complaints.

Kathleen is a fantastic professional Rolfer. I'm an athlete with a tired and overworked body. She smoothed out kinks using her knowledge about and experience working with the human body. Kathy is intuitive to what it needed. She is a powerful healer and her rolfing sessions aren't painful, because she maintains open communication to the level of pressure appropriate for my body. I left feeling lighter and mobile in body; my energy field felt expansive and grounded.
I have been going to Liz for years -- she is an absolute miracle worker. I had a terrible groin pull and she had me walking the next day. She is very intuitive and knows exactly how to help heal. If I could give 10 stars I would.
Best massage therapist I have ever been to. My husband and I both used to see here regularly. I would still be seeing her if we hadn't moved. I have serious health issues that cause chronic pain and she helped keep it under control. I miss her. Haven't found anyone close to as good as Francoise, before or since.
Al is not only skilled, highly knowledgeable, and dedicated to the art and science of body work, but he's courageous in his approach. He doesn't waiver on approaching the body from a best practices mindset even when there may be 'crowds' who argue with it. Speaking as a fellow body worker, I can say that Al's insight into massage to help with low back, hip, shoulder, neck pain.... is one of the most effective approaches I've ever received. And, he's a community leader in massage - a true Master - highly recommend getting on his schedule while he's still taking new clients.

Karena Goldfinger is a gem! I highly recommend her as an acupuncturist. I have been a client for over 5 years and she is incredibly knowledgeable about herbs as well. She has helped me so much with regulating my nervous system and with insomnia, dupuytren's contracture, menopause and more. She is an incredible listener and is very intuitive. I had acupuncture treatments with Mr. Kim last week for pain and numbness on my right hand and arm. I had been suffering those problem for couple years, but the condition got worse 6 months ago. To reduce the pain, I tried everything: many medical procedures, medicines and physical therapy….but none of those western medicines were helped. I didn’t want those pain be part of my life.Having a try of acupuncture which my friend recommended with Mr. Kim was my last hope even only for little relief. Mr. Kim has so much knowledge in his field. He is a miracle worker. I’ve noticed improvement after my second appointment. My pain disappeared after six time of treatment, and the results last. Highly recommend Mr. Kim. Thank you so much Mr. Kim for your professional skills.
I visited the center for the first time and was very impressed by the nice facility, the treatment itself and herbs I’ve been given. The treatment with Dr Wang was almost two hours and really seems to have worked already after only one session. He also gave me new insight into what may be causing the issue. The herbs he gave me to make a tea are very strong and seem to be having a very positive affect. Very pleased and will return!
My session with Karen was to help speed up my recovery from hernia surgery that I had just 10 days ago. The acupuncture and infared light therapy was so relaxing and I'm already feeling alittle less fatiqued and tired. She's very attentive and caring and I'd give her 10 stars if I could! I highly recommend Karen.
Kenji is compassionate and willing to approach a problem in the body in multiple ways, whether it is cupping or needle work. The office is clean with good energy. I’ve worked through shoulder injuries and foot and knee issues quickly and effectively with accupuncture and Kenji.

Rocky Wang is a miracle worker and at this point I am convinced that there isn't an ailment that he can't fix. As an endurance athlete I wreck my body and he fixes me every time. Rocky is kind, he listens to you, and genuinely wants you to feel better. I also walk out of there so calm and relaxed.
I have been seeing Ryan and his associates at Marinwood Community Accupuncture for several years. It seems that whatever concern I have, acupuncture has given me a solution. I recently saw Ryan as I'd had new troubling symptoms present themselves. Since I have "disc issues," I was concerned about the feelings I was having in my right knee, hip and leg. I saw Ryan. We conversed. He applied acupuncture. Issue resolved. In my humble opinion, he is deeply knowledgable and highly skilled. AND....at a reasonable cost, he is my "Go To" Health Practitioner before seeking other help!
