I live 35 minutes away up in Petaluma area and for a variety of reasons went to San Rafael Animal Hospital for the first time with my dog Rose. I was pleased with every part of our visit. Dr. Davis even started chipping some tartar off my dog's teeth as he was examining her just because. They even managed to X-ray Rose's leg without anesthesia (and without me there) I believe because she felt secure in their care. Normally she would get anxious if she doesn't see me. Fair prices, too. The neighborhood is sort of industrial and the office is no frills, but the care is exceptional. I'll be coming back all the way down here from now on.
I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Dogra and his clinic. My experience with them was nothing short of great. Dr. Dogra and his staff made me feel welcomed and at ease from the moment I walked in. He took the time to listen to my concerns about Leia, my German Shepherd and conducted a thorough examination with care and precision. His knowledge and experience were evident as he explained the diagnosis and treatment plan in detail, ensuring I understood every step of the process. One aspect that particularly impressed me was Dr. Dogra's attention to detail and professionalism. He provided all the necessary notes for my dog's insurance claim, making the process seamless and stress-free. A competent and respectable vet service operating in San Rafael. It is commonplace that vet appointments are often very difficult to arrange in a timely matter which is not the case with this Vet Clinic. They were relatively quick to get us seen and the clinic is clean and pretty and well organized. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and willing to educate as well as treat. The only problem I have with this clinic is a problem I have with the entire vet business as a whole: for a relatively simple visit I was charged steeply.
