“I love OrangeTheory. Workouts are amazing but more than that.. their front desk people are AMAZING.

They make so much difference in the experience. They genuinely understand the problem, they are kind and go extra mile to provide service. 10/10.. Sometimes I am having such tough time in office but then I see such kind people and it makes my day.

Also.. I love Kalli .. she is the best coach.“

“I'm so glad I found More Than Fitness and started weight training with Matty. I used to have a fitness club membership. I would get motivated for a few weeks, but then I would stop going, so of course, I never saw any real improvement. With Matty, I lift weights twice a week and I am getting so strong! It's amazing how getting stronger makes life easier! I first found Matty last November. He offers a free fitness assessment at his gym in Redwood City on El Camino (across the street from Burger King). After the assessment, you can decide if you want to work with him. If you need a trainer who will keep you safe while you become stronger, then I highly recommend Matty.“

“I was a bit intimidated with weightlifting when I started at Gym Class Rocks years ago, but it was the perfect place to get started. Not only was the owner of the gym, Shannon, very accommodating in teaching me the exercises and helping me adjust the workout to my specific needs, but the entire community of women was as well. Once I started getting stronger and was ready to increase my weights, I could look to this wonderful community of strong women for inspiration and advice on form, weights, and life. And, perhaps most important for me, whenever I skip several weeks due to life getting in the way, I am always welcomed back by Shannon and the community as if I hadn’t been gone at all.“

“Kip is probably the first trainer who ever really listened to what I was saying and had a realistic path to progression. It's the first time I really saw the benefits of fitness training as opposed to just suffering without seeing any results. I wish I had someone like Kip 20 years ago. Kip is about action and focus which is what you need as a beginner when there's so much noise out there. He often brings equipment for home visits which is a benefit since you can decide what you might want to get next for your home setup. When it comes to sessions in the gym he can help you get the most out of what's available there too.“

“I had never had personal training, but I needed to do something different after a couple years behind a desk. Hitting the gym in isolation was sounding tedious, and was too easy to put off.Even after 15 sessions, I am noticing a huge different in my body, flexibility, and energy levels. Aside from being a great guy, Max has a vast portfolio of exercises, stretches, rolls, and cardio to pull from. He tailors every session and constantly introduces me to movements I have never done before. The result is a super engaging workout, with a ton of compound movements mixed with new variations on conventional exercises, and a very holistic approach to balance, stability, and health. I plan to continue working with Max, but a lot of what he is teaching me will stick with me for the rest of my life.Very highly recommended.“

“I completed my 12 week transformation about a month ago and it was excellent! Not only did I lose 24 pounds, my trainer Stephanie has helped me to rehab from several injuries including a bad turned ankle, a wonky shoulder, and a sciatic/hip strain. Her level of care and attention is something I've never felt before and it's special. Michael, Charles, and the other trainers also offer this detailed level of care and everyone's attitude is so encouraging. I am walking taller, with more ease, comfort, and confidence than ever before. Thank you, Stephanie, and thank you, Michael and Training Space!“

Tosetti Institute of MMA & Fitness Trainers

“Let me preface anything I say here with the fact that I am neither a natural athlete, nor have I ever liked working out. With that said, the Tosetti team has somehow gotten me to a point in my life where I can’t imagine a life NOT doing squats, punching bags, wrestling, and swinging swords. It’s probably high time I left a review, since I’ve been going here since September 2018.Fitness classes are like a giant game of “Simon Says.” Coach Melissa and Coach Geralyn are amazing, and some of the warmest, most welcoming people I’ve ever met. Their patience and encouragement when I started these classes went a long way to bolster my confidence. Again, I’ve never liked working out, so I also had no idea what I was doing, and being told what to do did me a whole lot of good. They were happy to start me off with baby steps and add challenges as I progressed, and are always ready to show you alternatives if you have certain limitations, such as joint issues.Wrestling classes—when I say I knew nothing about working out, I knew even less about wrestling. I actually started these classes because of the sword classes (that’s a long story). Coach Paul officially teaches these (with the occasional supervised wrestling sessions from… another Paul), and has somehow shown me, at 5’4’’, how to throw people who tower over me. The classes tend to be a mix of all levels of experience and weight classes, and Coach Paul will often cater his lesson that day to the needs of the class demographic. It’s a whole lot of fun.Lastly, sword classes are what I joined Tosetti Institute for (and since I joined, they’ve added a polearms class to the weapons repertoire). These are not the kind of sword fighting classes that usually come to mind in the modern era, such as the foil fencing you see in the Olympics. We’re talking historical martial arts here, with swords in a variety of sizes and styles—and Coach Paul definitely emphasizes the martial part of the art. This was EXACTLY what I was looking for. He draws form historical texts, but he’s a fighter first and foremost, and that’s what I think really sets his teaching off from other historical fencing schools—if you want to learn how to fight, he will teach you how to fight. I’m going to do a bit of bragging here, but some of our sword fighters are competition-winners (I’m not among them—I’m actually mediocre at best, but I love being able to learn from these awesome people).Really, I could go on and on about how much I love Tosetti Institute, and the people there. This was unfortunately the shortest I could keep this review while doing them any sort of justice, and it’s only an inkling of how much I love this place. Even sadder is the fact that I’ll be moving out of the area in the spring/ summer—of all the things in the SF Bay Area, Tosetti Institute and the people I’ve met there are what I will miss the most, and I don’t think I’ll ever find their equal.“

“I've been training with Lanthony for a little over nine months now and have seen an amazing transformation over that time span. This is my first time body building and hitting the gym regularly to lift weights. Lanthony made sure I understood the equipment, exercises and he played close attention to my form throughout. He was able to provide a challenging workout while working around existing injuries. Lanthony is bringing the energy, dedication and passion for his craft every session and is keeping me motivated throughout.“

“Adam is a terrific personnel trainer, always focused on my goals and well being. I started working with Adam 4 years ago after my daughter pointed out my impressive belly during a family vacation. As an engineer, I spend a lot of time sitting so I had back pain, poor posture, limited flexibility and a pot-belly on a 125 pound body. With 3 sessions a week, Adam has eliminted my pack pain, increased my shoulder mobility, greatly improved my posture and reduced my belly. I look forward to each workout session as Adam is always bringing new challenges to help me improve my strength and stability.“

“I decided to sign up for a half marathon this November, so I reached out to Dr. Drew Vercellino to help me with a running program for my upcoming race. Dr. Drew took the initiative to provide me with a plan that worked best with my work schedule and helped me make changes when I couldn’t follow the plan 100%. He also helped me with a strength training program to do throughout my running program that fit nicely into the lighter running days. He really made my training easy by listening to my needs and making suggestions. I will definitely be reaching out for more training programs in the future.“
