I moved to Portola Valley in 2019 and was happy to find Ivy's nails so conveniently close to my new home. Ivy and her team consistently strive for perfection in their work, and customer satisfaction is a top priority. My nail dips and gel pedicures last for weeks which is great for me as I am out of town often and not available for weekly nail appointments.I am sad to hear that they are being forced out of their location even though they purchased the business in good faith from the neighboring hair salon that now wants the thriving salon returned to them. Although they will have to relocate and will be further away, they will certainly keep my business as they are totally worth a few extra minutes of driving.Good luck in your new location Ivy! I hope you will be more prosperous than ever! ?
Sometimes you come across a person/business that restores your faith in humanity! We had a really large tree branch come crashing down onto our house in the latest storm associated with the CA atmospheric river. We asked a couple of arborists to come by to look at the situation. After talking about the situation with me and viewing pictures, Jason (Bartlett, Portola Valley) said the job could probably be done by a skilled gardener, offered instructions as to how to take the branch down safely, and added that it would probably cost a lot if we hired an arborist (including his company). He then offered to come by in the late afternoon/early evening to see it in person. When he arrived, he quickly took the branch down himself with his chain saw and left it in smaller, disposable pieces. He said there was no charge! Needless to say, we will use this company in the future for any tree needs we have and recommend that any one reading this review do likewise.
5 stars aren’t enough for Antonio and his crew! I’ve been going here for years now, and have never left without a smile. I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you want an amazing haircut, and a stylist you can trust, go to Antonio’s! And more importantly, his new and own hair products are phenomenal! My hair has never felt better.

I was first introduced to Seven Oaks as a competitor, at their dressage extravaganza series. I had an older thoroughbred, at the time, and wanted to move him closer to my home, so I could see him more often.We were welcomed by Pam, Carrie and Sonia, to enhance our training. Shortly thereafter, I had to retire my horse, but was very fortunate to be surrounded by quality school horses, to continue my own learning.With their amazing expertise and ability to pair students with horses, we started conversations about getting me another horse. They found a young warm blood for me, with the shared understanding that he’d need to be at their San Juan Batista facility, for at least six months. He was young and needed to learn the Seven Oaks dressage methods.The quality of school horses is an excellent indicator of their abilities. The horses are well cared for and very happy. The trainers always put safety first, coupled with fun and advancement of my own skills, with my equine partner. I feel extremely fortunate to have found Seven Oaks.My story continues at the San Juan Batista site.
Dr. Larry Wengren has been our vet for the past four dogs, and he's about to meet our fifth! He has cared for each of them from puppyhood through their final days, and has always shown wisdom, compassion, and the highest of medical competence. I whole-heartedly endorse Windy Hill Vet Practice.
Lisa Green is an amazing physical therapist. She is very clear in her explanations, and great at answering questions. Her evaluations and physical therapy work is very well laid out to lead to a positive outcome; and she looks holistically at the whole body/person, not just the specific diagnosis (in my case, a back issue), since something going on in one body part so often affects other b body parts. The staff at Pacific THERx are organized and prompt with communications, paperwork, and so on. They are all very nice!

I have been training with Christina at Core Equestrian for over 3.5 years, in both dressage and jumping. I returned to riding as an adult amateur after a very long hiatus and the Core Equestrian program was perfect for me. I started with lessons, I leased horses through the program, and then with Chrissy's patient assistance I purchased my dream horse. Chrissy focuses on teaching not just riding skills, but also overall horsemanship. Our barn is located at the Horsepark at Woodside, with access to 9 arenas (including a covered) and the cross-country course, and we have large, airy stalls and a very high standard of horse care. I highly recommend Core Equestrian.
I take horseback riding lessons here, and as a kid, this place is literally the best place in the world!!! Hailey Allison is my instructor and she is amazing, kind, and helpful at all times. I have also made so many amazing friends, and had such great times and experiences I cannot even say. Me and my sister have been riding here for 3 years now, and are horse crazy. We love show jumping, and are crazy about jumping more. We sadly don't lease a horse (yet) but really want to. All of the horses at Webb Ranch are truly all beautiful, perfect angels and love all attention. Me and my sister transferred from Isola Stables ( who treat their horses terribly:( ) and adore Webb Ranch so much!!! My favorite horse is personally Twinkle or Maverick (and am planning to lease one of them) and my sister likes Sprinkles. Webb Ranch is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
