731 S Spring St #600, Los Angeles“I'm here for the weeks unlimited ($25) 5.22-29th. First impression: I like it a lot. It's a wonderful space of rooms teaching both heated and non-heated classes sans humidity. The word serenity comes to mind. As soon as you come in you are immediately greeted with a precipitous staircase and a embedded bronze placard proceeding warning you to "watch your first step". There are some commercial entities that have mastered the art of environment. Places where as soon as the door closes behind you shutting out the city bustle you've left behind you are almost transported to another place. I've not yet been to a space accomplishing this better than Boheme Yoga.I will of course update this as the week progresses. But they also teach pilates here so already, having had my very first P class ever only today, I'm a little in love with this place. It is what you think of when you imagine yoga studios: Discreet, quietly dignified and powerful in its certainty of being just exactly what it is: I tranquil place for serious minded yogis to come further stretch push and condition their bodies. All of them claim it, this feels already, as if it's actually accomplished and provided a safe space where perhaps there could actually be a 'community' of like minded people who do more than just sweat and endure together.Everyone here also seemed to have invested in good quality mats (as opposed to the yoga interlopers who've not yet decided if this is for them a short-term indulgence or life-long lifestyle commitment). And boy, not for nothing, but after corepoweryoga it was just nice to see a green lit water filter again. lol“

“Been coming for 3 years now and love everything about this gym. The sauna ice bath combo by itself makes the membership worth it in my opinion“
“I have trained with Zoe at RITUAL and it has been life changing/ transformative. Zoe is an incredible trainer and the space is gorgeous. My body has transformed and the way I understand fitness has evolved completely. I saw Zoe before, during, and after my first pregnancy and she moved through all of those (very different) phases seamlessly and motivated and supported my fitness goals and evolving body throughout. Zoe also trains a few other people I know and she tailors the trainings to everyone differently based on their needs. I truly could not recommend Zoe and RITUAL fitness more highly.
Also I always had an easy time parking and could go get coffee or lunch after on York Street! A++ spot.“

11747 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles“I had the best time at Air!
It was my first aerial experience. I tried a yoga class with Patricia, and candlelight yoga with Danielle.
If I lived in LA, I'd be here every day :)
The classes are challenging, but there are variations so you can adjust the exercises to meet you where you are at.
Highly recommend trying <3“

8231 W 3rd St, Los Angeles“I’ve officially been coming to Heated Room every single day for a full year, and I can honestly say it has completely transformed my body.
The heated mat Pilates classes have strengthened my performance in the gym (lifting), improved my core stability and muscle definition, and sculpted my body in ways I hadn’t achieved before. It’s also deepened my body awareness and connection to my movement, which carries into everything else I do.
I genuinely look forward to it every day and it’s become part of my lifestyle and a healthy obsession in the best way.“

225 S Olive St APT 804, Los Angeles“I had the opportunity to attend some online classes and events with YogaTalk Events. Their classes and retreats are so much fun. The Joshua trip in particular was a heart opening experience for me. The classes led by world-class teachers feel like much more than just yoga classes. They created a space to reconnect with yourself on a deeper level. The instructors bring great experience with each session. YogaTalk Events creates great sense of community and deeper connections. Their events and retreats help build meaningful and lifelong connections. I am truly grateful for these experiences and look forward to the next event with them. ?“

I got it all, nutrition and diet advice, body positivity, health goals, strength goals, and all of the trainers were able to work around my very specific weird injuries. Love it, totally recommend this place!“

245 Main St, Los Angeles“I was a charter member of Yogaworks from 1987 till they closed their doors in 2023, when I joined Shefa. If Yogaworks reopened today I wouldn't think of leaving Shefa. The facilities and the family-style run operation makes the studio like a second home to me. I have three adult children who followed me to this excellent studio. L A's best yoga studio by far.“

All of their instructors are very professional and passionate about their practice and you can feel the energy!Parking is a bit tough, but don't let that deter you away from coming. If you are local, I'd recommend walking or biking here!“
6AM - 9PM
2023 Bay St, Los Angeles“Sooooo... I drank the Crossfit Kool-aid. After years of watching my husband practice this crazy sport, I finally gave in.
I am not now, nor have I ever been a sporty person. I started coming to Mixtape for their yoga classes. Loved it. I then moved on to spin classes. Yes! I can do this. Now I'm doing the crazy WOD (Workout of the Day). I'm actually doing things in the gym I would have never thought I could do.
The coaches are without exception knowledgeable,
approachable, and encouraging. They modify and accomodate the workouts to your level of fitness. The facility is not like a typical chain gym, but it is clean and welcoming. But the NUMBER ONE REASON why I keep coming back is the sense of community that Coaches Sadie and Jason have fostered in their business. The inclusivity and comaraderie and overall lovefest I feel here are everything. Having a cruddy day at work? Come to the box. Relationship woes? Come to the box. Too many tamales? Come to the box. You'll sweat. You'll laugh. You'll feel better. Did I mention this is a dog-friendly spot? Seriosuly... come this box!!!“
8AM - 5PM
11500 W Olympic Blvd Suite 640, Los Angeles“Grateful for Re+Active PT - A Heartfelt Thanks Yesterday, Sam’s last official session at Re+Active PT was bittersweet. We are incredibly grateful for everything they've done for him. From the very first day we walked through their doors, they welcomed us like family. The team not only helped Sam manage his physical struggles but gave him back a sense of joy and confidence we hadn't seen in a long time. Sam even gave them a special thank-you gift: pens, keychains, and bookmarks he made, which he handed out to the staff. It was a beautiful moment to see their smiles in return, knowing he had a part in making their day. ? While this chapter of the 8-week program has officially ended, we’re not saying goodbye to Re+Active. We plan to continue visiting and, as we’re able, schedule additional sessions. They’ve been such an integral part of Sam’s journey, and we can’t wait to stay a part of their community. ?“

“This is one of my favorite personal development centers in LA. It is a community center that educates people on the mind and how to manage your through the through mindfulness practices, based on teachings by Gurudev.
I started attending a few years ago in college when I found out about the SKY meditation program and have been coming back ever since.
Check out their full moon mediations, which happen every full moon and are open to the public. This is a great introduction to meditation for people who are curious and want to explore a new space.“
6AM - 8:30PM
200 S Los Angeles St Suite E, Los Angeles“The program itself feels gentle and may seem simple at first, and I don’t always leave with the sensation of an intense workout. That said, I’ve come to appreciate that Pilates emphasizes mindfulness, body awareness, and intentional movement. Through repeating the exercises, I’ve learned to better understand my muscles and how my body moves as a whole. Overall, the experience has been positive for both my mind and body.“
“Good experience overall! Not a typical vinyasa class but positive energy and enjoyable vibe. Just note classes here tend to go a few mins past the allotted time, but great studio and fun teachers!“
