7230 Firestone Blvd, Downey“Love the LA Fitness gym. I try to go at the times where its less likely to be packed. Usually very early in the morning like 5-7 am and from 11:30 am through the early afternoon. During those times I find that i can get a good workout in where not that many people are there. Very crowded in the evening. Forget about it. The weekends are cool too though.“

13300 Whittier Blvd, Whittier“Great place for a workout. I attended one class via ClassPass and was going to sign up for a promo they mentioned while I was there (without being the least bit pushy about it), but their website doesn't seem to be maintained and I'm too lazy to reach out via other means, lol. Great camaraderie at this place. The instructor was great. Maybe I'll unlazify soon and return.“
“I took a Yoga class. The staff is very nice the instructors were very nice. The room just was not hot enough. I have done Bikram Yoga in the past and it was very hot. This one was not. I'm not sure if it was because I was sitting near an outside window. I had a good experience. I definitely would return.“
“Corpo Fechado and the rest of people here are amazing! I recently started and I signed up on the first day. Not only do we learn about capoeira, we sing, play instruments, exercise, make friends, and all in safe and welcoming environment. Love this place!“

3219 E Carson St, Lakewood“This place was amazing :) I had never tried a hot stone session before and I am very happy I did! I was a bit hesitant due to the temperature but everything went great and my session was so relaxing. I was even given a towel set and robe to change into for my session. The best part of my experience was laying in the stone room. The stones felt so warm and the relaxing music made me feel very at peace. Then right before my session was over I was given eucalyptus towel to help me transition and cool down and it felt amazing!“

612 Flower St, Los Angeles“Onika is an amazing trainer. I’ve had about 4 trainers in the past and to be honest, I never really stuck with their programs after a while. What makes Onika unique is that she does not only help you physically, but she makes sure to help you on a deeper level. She has weekly check ins where she asks how was your week, what were your struggles, strengths, how your workouts went, etc. That for me has made a huge difference in my weight loss journey. Her meal plans were tailored to my needs and was not a cookie cutter plan that most trainers give. She’s always positive and motivating and will kick you in the butt when you need it. She has truly helped me to change my perspective on fitness and I’ve learned that the journey starts from within and then you can transform the physical. Overall, I’ve just truly enjoyed her and would recommend her to anyone who is looking to venture out on their Weightloss journey and need extra support.“

10135 Valley View St, Cypress“Club pilates Cerritos and Cypress are under new ownership. I have been a member for about 2 months now, and I am very happy with the experience. There are different levels of memberships you can choose from to best fit your needs I chose to go with the membership that allows me to attend classes at both locations. This has allowed me to choose any class that best fits my schedule and choose from an array of several different instructors at various times. The nature of my work has a constantly changing schedule, so this was a must for me. The classes are different as every instructor has their own twist to their class (e.g., some may have a calm demeanor for a relaxing class, some have humorous instruction, some have more intense muscle group workouts, etc.).There are also several different classes you can choose to go to (i.e., reformer, center and balance, control, hiit, etc). However, even if you attend the same class, the workout will be varied so you don't get bored. It is definitely not a cheap option for workout, but I would highly recommend for those with limited movements (i.e. plantar facciitis, tendonitis, etc.) because it doesn't involve overloading your muscles with weights, and the instructors are really great about providing modifications if you have injuries. It will take a few sessions to try out the different instructors to see who's teaching style best fits you, but once you figure that out, it's a pleasant experience. In 2 months- I attended about 25 classes Changes I've observed: increase flexibility, increase core strength, toned muscles, and decreased flare ups of my plantar faciitis and achelis tendonitis. (Just my experience)“

1855 Industrial St STE 108, Los Angeles“I would definitely recommend this Pilates/Yoga studio. I had the opportunity to do private classes, as well as group Springboard and Reformer sessions with different instructors and I simply loved it. All of them are extremely nice, knowledgeable, and caring. I just signed up for their 12-month membership after being out of the country for two months, I was looking forward to coming back and continue working on my mind and body. ?“

“My daughter used to attend kpop classes here and everyone was great. I just passed by today and noticed that it's now closed. I really hope they can reopen someday. Very sad, we'll definitely miss this place“
“Friendly smiles greet me at the door. 2. Check-In is easy and plenty of lockers are available 3. Beginning class with meditation is an excellent way to start my practice 4. The flow is dynamic and the instructor offers many options to increase or decrease the intensity level of my practice 5. I sweat a lot 6. Assistants offer kind adjustments, a cool towel over my eyes during shavasana and a very kind massage at the end of my practice 7.“
5:30AM - 1:15PM
3860 Worsham Ave #310, Long Beach“I love the Hot Ra classes. The class led by Aubrey is great if you prefer silence during your practice. I appreciate that Aubrey doesn't play music during the session, because it allowed me to sort of meditate during the practice, which felt more pure and restorative. The rooms seem to be soundproof because I don't hear anything from outside. There are reserved seats so that you don't feel overcrowded, and ambient lighting that instructors can control. The radian heat makes your body feel warm but not too hot, just perfect to get a good invigorating sweat. Highly recommend Ra Yoga!“
