I cannot recommend Thrive enough. I switched from Sutter after frustration with the larger health care system, taking months to get appointments, seeing my doctor for five minutes, and messages to my doctor getting intercepted and unanswered by assistants. Dr. Rishwain is so knowledgeble, understanding, compassionate, and available. She always responds to my messages personally and quickly. She is also amazing with esthetics! (dysport, laser treatments). She also has been super supportive and hands on with my GLP-1 and weight loss journey.
We’ve seen three therapists, and these ladies have dramatically changed my family’s life. My husband had heart surgery last year and Kristin was helping him. Using brain spotting, she got him to a point where he was grateful for the machinery, and he started getting less and less scared for the experience.
Leslie Ludwig was instrumental in helping us with our son when he was going through a tough time after the surgery. She immediately noticed that he is Neuro divergent, and gave us avenues in which we could support him as he processed his feelings from the surgery. She’s incredibly supportive, very compassionate, and the only person that our son will talk to!! We are so grateful that we found her.
Given both of those successes, I started seeing Lara Long for brain spotting and it has tremendously changed my life. Previously I had another great therapist for somatic therapy, but it was moving too slowly and my husband mentioned that Brainspotting could get you a different experience in a shorter period of time.

I really love La Vie Esthetica! I did HydraFacial, Microneedling, Chemical Peel, and Dermaplaning, and my skin feels so fresh, clean, and glowing. I had a great experience at lifted salon with Olivia, she really took the time to listen to what i wanted and make sure i was happy every step of the way. she did such a great job with my face framing pieces i really love how it came out. they also gave me a really cute gift bag before i left with a tester shampoo, conditioner, some stickers and reference cards for a discount to hand out to my friends. definitely worth going here and ask for Olivia if you do!! check out her instagram too if you need more convincing. 10/10 experience and will go back, vibes were immaculate.

I couldn't be happier with my hair. Red hair is so hard to do well and Cierra has it down. I've had other stylists try but it was never what I asked for. Cierra has the expertise to give you what you want when it comes to going red. I can't recommend her enough. She is well worth the investment if you want it done right.

Rachel is THE BEST! I've been going to Salon Raquel for 8+ years now! She's a very talented stylist, who understands the changing needs of my hair. I needed a sharp cut for a wedding at the VFW and could only find time late afternoon the day of the wedding. Nobody could take me until I called Rob. In retrospect I'm very happy it turned out this way. Besides a fantastic cut Rob provided great conversation. He shop has a relaxed and welcoming vibe. I felt like I've known him for years. His shop has a lot of military memorabilia which make it clear he is a strong ally to the military. As retired Navy I felt very appreciated. I will be back for sure!

I a word... Jolissa is exceptional. Not only did I leave with an awesome tan, that looked great and lasted WAY longer than expected, but the entire experience was lovely from start to finish. Jolissa's studio is quiet, peaceful and super relaxing. You feel like you're at a day spa. Her kind, non-judgmental personality puts you at ease right away with what is otherwise a, let's face it, pretty awkward situation. She's an artist, but she's also very knowledgeable about the chemicals, the process and how to get the most out of your tan. I will 100% go back to see her!
Meghan is the best! I’ve been a client of hers since 2019. I went to her for lashes for a few years. I’ve since stopped getting my lashes done all together but she’s my go-to for spray tans now. I was always so happy with my lashes. She’s fast and does an amazing job. I’ve always been really happy with my spray tans as well. Makes you feel super comfortable! Her online booking is super easy and she’s always very responsive to messages if anything comes up! I highly recommend her if you’re thinking about booking :)
Meri is wonderful! She is kind, listens to her clients, and most importantly is awesome at doing lashes. At times I want my lashes to be natural and she is able to give me that, and at times I want them dramatic and she is able to give me that, also!

At 40 weeks pregnant, I've been experiencing pains and exhaustion and my nails were chipped. Hubby's needed a good foot scrub, so we decided to book an appointment together. Kim was really great with color matching and said I look good in all colors! As soon as she showed me Gelaze Pink Voltage, I fell in love! Such a bright, pretty pink and I had the best massage with hot stone and hot towel! The massage chair I sat in focused on lower back which helped immensely 40 weeks pregnant! Nail technicians were Kim and Tren and total cost for my nails with gel was $50! I would recommend this local nail salon that opened in 2012, great conversation and they accept Venmo!
Tracy is a doll! I expect perfection when I'm paying for a service and she did not disappoint -- fantastic polish job on hands and feet, and gave me the best and longest massage I've ever had with a pedi at any price. I visited her once then Covid hit and I moved away. Am back in the area again and can't wait to go back!

My daughter-in-law brought me here, along with my sister-in-law for pedicures. First of all it's a cute shop out front with very unique clothing and accessories and in back there are comfy chairs you could curl up in and read a good book. I chose the Plain Jane (their naked pedicure), and the girls got a Pioneer, and an Aquazona. They were both very happy with their choices, but agreed they want to go back for the plain Jane too! Each pedicure comes with a signature cocktail, made with brand name alcohol, not cheap knock offs. I would recommend Aquazona to the pickiest of customers, the ladies were as charming and fun as their shop!
Tom (and Tina) do the best pedicures in the area! Attention to detail and massage are the two top things I look for, and they knock it out of the park! Spring Nail 2 also carries more colors than I know what to do with — which I LOVE!! They have affordable and luxury options - 10/10. They have a forever costumer with me!

Best pedicure I have ever had, without a doubt! Massage was at least 15 minutes, super relaxing and calming environment. Additionally, my hard gel manicure was meticulous and stunning! My tech did an amazing job of prep so the final product was absolutely beautiful. It cost more than a regular place but is 100% worth it. I will definitely be back. My new favorite spot!

Mitra is the best stylist at this salon and she is always so kind and helpful in finding what's best for your hair. She is very flexible with her schedule as she understands that people have alot going on. I would suggest you trying mitra for cut , color or style or blowouts. She is incredible at all her skills.

The outside and inside of the property are very well-maintained and clean, with a small, welcoming waiting area for guests. The location is in the heart of Folsom and easy to access from any direction. Plus, there’s plenty of parking, which makes it convenient for my clients to visit. As an esthetician, I was searching for a space that was clean and quiet, and MSS is just that. I appreciate the professional atmosphere from both tenants and clients, which reflects so positively on my business.
Some other amazing perks include the building’s safety and security with key card access, nightly cleaning of the floors and restrooms, and its location in a well-lit, safe area. The suites are beautiful, customizable, and the building even offers two washer and dryers for added convenience.
Overall, I’m grateful to be part of this building and would highly recommend it to other business owners looking for a supportive and well-run property.

I've been getting my eyebrows tinted and waxed here for a year and a half. I can't say enough good things about Lauren and her work. Makes my sparse eyebrows look so much better!
Ronni is very sweet and easy to converse with while getting your wax. She’s very knowledgeable and is quick to answer any questions you might have about the procedure.
The one thing I have is that the wax is a little hot at times when applying, but if you kindly mention the temperature, she is quick to wait for it to cool down slightly. Overall a great waxing experience.

Jenna is amazing! The products she uses are top notch, as is her customer service and care. She is meticulous and provides great insight on helping your skin. Her passion in her work really shows. For her wax, she uses a wonderful Italian wax that is so much more gentle and effective (take it from a sensitive skin Sally who usually is hot and red for days after a wax). I would recommend Jenna to anybody!

I work 30 years in the fire department and played a lot of Contact football over my years needless to say I’ve had many many Masseuse. I recently went with my wife for a couples massage at dream day spa in Folsom. My masseuse name was Joyce. My wife had the owner. Joyce was by far the best masseuse I’ve experienced in my entire life. It was as if she was silently speaking to all of my aches and pains/muscles and responded to them with exactly what they needed. I am not kidding. She is a master of her craft and by the looks of my wife and what she was telling me the owner was also. I did tell Joyce if there is a heaven, I’m hoping to have her or someone like her in my little slice of heaven. Just incredible you will not be disappointed. My husband booked me a Facial and Massage for Mother's Day. The duration was both 60 minutes each. I had the Facial first. I think her name was Jennifer and she was awesome! My mother-in-law told me my skin was glowing and my complexion looked so good and smooth afterwards. I had a lot of congestion and she removed a lot of impurities in my skin. My skin was so smooth afterwards. She wore gloves and also put my hair back in a towel. It was a little different from what I am used to with the steam in my face, but it felt nice and very cooling on a hot summer day. She left to see if there was enough time to do one more thing before my next appointment. When she returned, she asked if she could trim my eyebrows. I didn't mind. Then she applied some serums and creams to refine my pores. It was so relaxing and I felt so nice and rejuvenated afterwards. She escorted me back to the waiting area until my next appointment for my massage. I waited maybe about 7 minutes after my facial appointment. I had such a great experience with Jennifer and was so excited for my next treatment. When i completed the form on the tablet initially, i mentioned in detail my problem areas like how the hostess said the mention. I again, mentioned to my masseuse about my problem areas before she began. I forgot what her name was, but it seemed like she was very new. She couldn't figure out the lighting in the room, didn't focus in the areas we spoke about beforehand. She kept apologizing for things... the pressure was very light for me and I mentioned she could apply more. She did for a little bit and then went back to light pressure again. Bummer. At the end, she mentioned that I should've told her about my lower back pain. All in all, it was a beautiful place. I think I would just come back for the facial only. I feel like the front desk needs to communicate better with the therapists and aestheticians about each appointment that is scheduled. Maybe have a team huddle before they open or something. It was Mother's Day so I guess it was a busy day for them. My friend's husband paid in full beforehand for her treatment, but the manager didn't communicate that with the receptionist either, so she had to call the manager to confirm. Other than the miscommunication, this place has potential.

I drive 40 minutes to go and see Melissa because no one does eyelashes like she does. Whether you like light and feathery or dramatic, she will create what you want. And the best part is they last twice as long as any other place that I’ve gone to.

Shanghai Tattoo is one of the cleanest and most well-run studios I've ever visited. The stations are spotless, and the vibe is relaxed and welcoming. Everyone there is genuinely cool and professional. Big shoutout to Tim Reasons, who's been tattooing me for over 15 years. He hasn't lost his touch. If anything, he just keeps getting better. Tim is a true old-school artist with deep knowledge and mastery of both American Traditional and Japanese-style tattoos. If you're serious about quality ink, don't sleep on this artist. Tim Reasons is the real deal.

I have gotten most of my ink done by Bill. I literally can’t commit to much of anything but to Bill and his wonderful tattooing, I am committed. Bill customizes each of my tattoos with a flair that is unmatched. His personality is also what brings me in. The environment is cozy and inviting. The conversation is always interesting. Bill can tell when I’m up to socializing or when I’m feeling particularly introverted. He is focused, with the lightest touch that produced the most intricate work. The pricing is very fair and the quality is wildly good. Truly cannot say enough about this shop and their artists. Bill is my go to guy! ?

I used to do my own plumbing and construction work for the most part in my previous house and I have not hired a plumbing company in quite along time so I got a bit of sticker shock at the quote but my wife told me that I have not kept up with prices charged by the trades. He completed the work in a bit over 45 minutes and also adjusted the timer on my water heater recirculating pump.Overall, I am satisfied with the work Domco did. Justice was on time, professional and had a great personality and gave me 5% senior discount. I would recommend Domco!

A skunk sprayed our dogs and we had to put them into a shed that was in the middle of construction, temporarily, while we scared off the skunk. We were worried that the odor wouldn't ever come out of the insulation, drywall and untreated wood. The odor was so strong, it could be smelled from 6 feet away, with the door closed. After the treatment, the odor was COMPLETELY GONE. We would use Fairest Cleaning & Restoration again in a heartbeat.

We decided to try Goose's for the first time, based upon the strong reviews. After a slight scheduling hiccup, Michael arrived and went to work on the carpet in four rooms, as well as our sectional sofa.
We had a couple of carpeted areas that we anticipated might not come completely clean (due to careless kids and a big dog) but, once Michael was finished, everything looked brand spanking new!
Because he'd arrived behind schedule, he even threw in a couple of our smaller area rugs, at no additional charge.
Michael is very friendly and easy-going, yet super attentive and meticulous. He clearly enjoys what he does and takes considerable pride in his work -- as he should! We highly recommend Goose's!

We recently completed a downstairs remodel with Designing Dreams, and I am happy to say they exceeded our expectations! I had a very specific idea of what I was looking for and their team went above and beyond to get me exactly what I wanted. I felt like we were all in it together as a team to get to the end goal. The few situations that came up (there are always situations), they took responsibility for and were quickly remedied. Their standards are high, so they even saw things that didn't look right and fixed them without me even knowing. Their staff all work for Designing Dreams so I always got the feeling that they were like a big family. Every one of them was polite, friendly and respectful and not once did I feel like I didn't want any of them in my house. Every time I walk downstairs now, I feel like I am on vacation. I won't miss the mess, but I will miss working with the team at Designing Dreams!

This was extremely helpful in obtaining a resolution with the subcontractor. * If you have flooring issues, call Dave. You need an expert on your side. DO NOT HAVE YOUR FLOORING COMPANY SEND THIER OWN INSPECTOR FOR FREE. They will not be able to divulge their findings. Please contact your own inspector, and pay for him yourself. It's well worth the money! Dave is very knowledgeable and kind, and he will help you understand the problem at hand in order to prevent future failures.

OUTSTANDING! Over the past 12 months the Folsom Designing Dreams team has remodeled two bathrooms and a kitchen for me in two different homes. Each a beautiful, spacious home in Placerville, CA built in the 1980s. So, as is often the case with these older homes you pull up the carpet or knock down a wall and it's like Forest Gump's box of chocolates, "always a surprise inside." But each time, Randy M. (owner) would come to me and say either we "have to" or "you should" fix this newest surprise. Now, I do not consider this up-selling, but more like a friend informing me of something his team noticed and then giving me the option of having it taken care of now by them or later by someone else. Each time Randy provides a verbal cost estimate for these "change orders" to the original scope of work. The thing is, his verbal estimates are always near 90% accurate. And his original written estimates at start of the project were each a dead-on, bullseye hit! Designing Dreams team members are all professional, courteous, highly skilled and take great pride in their work - "All Stars", each of them. I especially enjoyed my working relationship with my Project Mangers, Jeff E. and Duncan B., I always felt I could call or text either of them whenever I had a question or concern. They were consistently friendly, responsive and helpful whenever I reached out. I also appreciated the milestone based payment plan and the weekly forecast of work to be performed in my home and by whom. Oh and, the kitchen and two bath remodels turned out amazingly well and are highly lauded by visiting family and friends. :) These guys and gals at Designing Dreams ain't cheap . . . but I consider them of great value! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I LOVE my backyard again thanks to The patio Pro. We had an outdoor kitchen built along with a seating area. Both were so well done. They work quickly and efficiently. The crew always were so respectful. They made sure the area was cleaned at the end of each day. The owner was on site most of the time watching to make sure his team was doing the work in a manner that he expected. Not that they needed it, really they are a well oiled team that built us exactly what we wanted.

We previously had a terrible experience with another dentist, and Dr. Dan Truong completely turned that around. When he pulled my son’s tooth today, there was zero pain. In fact, Dr. Dan was finished before my son even realized he had started.
For context, my 8-year-old has ADHD and is very sensitive to sound and touch. Dr. Dan was able to get him numb and remove the tooth without my son shedding a single tear—something I honestly didn’t think was possible.
The entire team was incredible. Breanna, our treatment coordinator, provided a pre-treatment estimate, and it ended up costing us less than expected (a rare and welcome surprise!). The office was running a little behind and short-staffed, but their communication was excellent, and they still kept everything moving smoothly.
When Zahara, our dental assistant, took us back, I mentioned my son’s sound sensitivity. She immediately went into action—taking the time to let him hear all the sounds and touch the suction tools before anything started. She was considerate, kind, patient, gentle, and thoughtful—everything a child could want in a dental assistant.
I’ve been in the dental field a long time, and you can truly tell when an office genuinely cares about their patients. My little guy is a tough one, and this team showed us exactly what true professionalism and compassion look like.

Dr. J is an amazing chiropractor! When I first started coming to Thrive in February, I was in so much pain I could barely stand up!
Dr. J took my x-rays and discovered that my pelvis was completely tilted, I had a herniated disc, and I was losing the curvature in my neck. He got me started with just adjustments, using fancy vibration tools that help loosen up the muscles. Then, after about a month he started me on the “decompression table” which has been a complete game changer!!
I am almost entirely pain free after only 5 months of 2 visits per week. I highly recommend Thrive Spine Center, Dr. J truly cares about every one of his patients, and shows enormous empathy for the pain his patients experience.

I can't say enough good things about Cascade and their entire staff. I've been going to Dr. Race for probably 10 years. I wouldn't be able to walk without his help. I even drove down from Oregon for 5 years because he knows my history and has been there through a few car accidents and other injuries. He educates me on why there's pain and where it originates from, to the point I can continue my care at home with stretches and massage in between appointments. They work with my schedule and understand if I need to wait a week to pay. Camille and Holly at the desk are always welcoming and helpful, especially if you run into a scheduling conflict and need to move your appointment. After moving back from Oregon, I still drive from Roseville to see Dr. Race and back to Citrus Heights where I live, once a week. If they weren't that good, I wouldn't waste my time, gas or sanity in traffic to see them!

Dr. Benevento is great! I received a thorough exam and testing before my adjustment and he listened to my concerns/ medical history. Prior to the adjustment, he has you lay on a warm waterbed massage table to help relax you and get you ready for the adjustment. The adjustment went smoothly, he explains each step beforehand. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

I've been going to Blue Ravine for years as they specialize in bulldogs and do a great job at taking care of my pups. My visit today with Dr. Pita and the vet tech Emily was exemplary! We've been taking our pets to Folsom Veterinary Hospital for over 30 years. Everyone is always very friendly and shows concern for our animals. They don't try to upsell services not necessary, but will let you know what needs to be done at the time of service to make your pet healthy and comfortable.
This is a wonderful vet specializing in cat care. We recently moved to the area and they were able to see both my cats within a week of scheduling. The pricing was very reasonable and I appreciated how they spaced out the appointment to give attention to my cats.
We were immediately put in an exam room and didn't wait too long for vet. I was invited to participate in my dog's exam which is so much better than the vets who take your pet away to exam. We followed advice and meds and my dog recovered from being lame within the week.

I booked a Migraine Massage with Jennifer & I could not recommend it more! This was my first massage ever and I’m so glad that I chose to go with Jennifer. To start, the spa smelled amazing & there was tea and cucumber infused water available when I arrived. The massage itself was really great, and Jennifer did a lot of work to break up all of my shoulder tension. She was extremely nice! Afterwards she showed me a great stretch to help keep myself from getting too sore. I will definitely be back!
We had the best 90 minute couples massage, very clean, quiet, relaxing music, spacious and comfortable room environment. The ladies were very welcoming and kind, superb technique, good control of strength, real deep muscle relief and relaxation. Effective, highly recommend.

Really beautiful salon and relaxing ambiance. Jessica was super nice and welcoming and did an amazing job with my relaxation massage but also worked out some annoying tightness in my lower back. I felt really good and rejuvenated after! Highly recommend her!
I am a real client. I have been going to the Folsom stretch lab since September. Due to an old repetitive stress injury I have a stiff left shoulder. It had been painful at night and limited movement. I started working with Justin and then with Sam and then Noah. They are all good at what they do and Noah is extremely good at shoulder movement. He has helped me to get more range of motion in my left arm, and I can almost straighten my arm up all the way above my head. I was at about a 75° movement to being able to straighten my arm above my head almost as straight as my right arm. You have to see it to believe the difference. I can tell you  it has been very beneficial for me. I started out with the once a week 50 minute package  for three months. Now I am going weekly for 25 minutes, with a major focus on my shoulder. Give it a try. Stretch lab really helps you find the stretch You need to maintain your flexibility. I cannot say enough great things about Dina and her entire team! I feel like it’s been a great investment in my health!
The facility is really clean, and the personnel is highly professional. Scheduling was completed by email. They only recently opened up.
