He replied early the next day and I was fortunate in that he could come by to diagnose the problem with my broken GE double oven that same day. He gave me a game plan of ordering some extra parts in case there were multiple problems and said he would only use the necessary parts and charge labor based on what was used. “I cannot say enough good things about Qual-Tech AC & Heating and their technician, Christian. After being without AC for two months, I had already gone through four different AC companies, none of which could figure out the problem. To make matters worse, I kept being told my unit was an Inverter system that they didn’t know how to work on.

Christian showed up and immediately recognized what all the other companies had missed — my system is not an Inverter AC, but a regular system with a circuit board that allows for variable speed startup. That detail had confused every other technician, but not Christian. While I waited for a truly competent company to arrive, my second AC went out as well. Christian was able to repair both units quickly and efficiently.

For context, one of the first companies I called treated my system like a guessing game — swapping out parts on my 2-year-old unit and even over-pressurizing the system, which caused it to fail after they left. Christian found and corrected this issue right away.

“This company was the fourth I contacted and got estimates for replacing my furnace. I chose A & R (Marko) because he’s practically neighbor and local here in my city.
His estimate was reasonable and close to all that I contacted. He gave me tips and tricks on what to do for proper maintenance on all our HVAC. Tips on not needed and money savings maintenance.

I am glad I decided to choose his company because Marko did a great job replacing my old, over 40 yrs, furnace. He did everything in one day, installed, checked and even checked my upstairs furnace and A/C too done by somebody else. He made a correction on the A/C duct that was incorrectly installed just a few years back. He smelled a little bit of gas coming from my water heater and he was able to fixed it as well.

“First of all I want to start off by saying I'm not an employee, family member, or friend. Awesome Heating and Air is the perfect name for this company. I called them on a Sunday and Todd called back within 5 minutes. He came out the next day, quickly identified the problem. He had to get the part in Concord so he said he'd be back late that afternoon to install it. He was there around 3:30 and was able to fix it quickly. Todd was awesome. I highly recommend them and if I have any HVAC issues in the future, I will call them first.“

“I recommend Flanders Heat & Air Systems because they actually focus on what's best for the customer and are very skilled.We had a heat pump installed to replace a gas furnace and air conditioning unit.We first contacted Flanders Heat & Air. Brett Flanders came out and inspected our existing units as well as all the vents in the home. He made three observations:1) The ac unit was adjacent our patio so we would probably want a very quiet unit.2) The upstairs den was missing an air duct.3) The ducts from the blower did not have a damper to distribute air to the upstairs and downstairs. As a result the upstairs would be hot when downstairs is cold.Flanders was exactly right. It was impossible to cool the upstairs without having the downstairs uncomfortably cold; the upstairs was typically ten degrees warmer than the first floor. Also we were bothered by the noise from the ac unit when using the patio.We got two other estimates for a heat pump. The other companies failed to point out the need for a quiet unit, a damper, or identify the missing duct. But we asked the other companies to address those concerns in their quotes. Flanders' quote was comparable to the other quotes.We asked Flanders to do the work. He and his assistant installed the heat pump, blower, damper, controls, and new vent. I was impressed by how smooth the installation went; they knew what they were doing and did the work well.We've had the heat pump for a couple of months and the system works really well. Thanks to the damper, the upstairs and downstairs temperatures can be set independently. We can even make the upstairs cooler than downstairs. For the first time, the upstairs is actually comfortable in the afternoon. The heat pump is so quiet that we barely notice it when enjoying the patio.“

“There is no one better than Don. Simply put, he's the only one in the business I trust. He's not going to B.S. you into spending money on something you don't need. I had two different AC companies this past summer tell me I needed a new furnace and AC system because I had leak in my system. Cost would be over $20K. Don came over and found a small loose gasket which was leaking gas, which somehow the other two companies missed after being here four times , and possibly even intentionally caused (I was also charged over $1K to refill the puron gas multiple times). Don had a gas detector that didn't pick up any other leak. Net net, Don saved me at least $20K which I'll be forever grateful for!!“
