“If there are more than 5 stars to rate this company, Oliver Heating and Air (Vinnie and Dee team) surely deserves more. 2 weeks ago, before this excessive heat felt all over the Bay Area, specially in Tri-Valley, they were able to replace our AC. The previous estimate and recommendation from another heating company was to replace both the ac/furnace at same time (18 year old units), where with Vinnie's assessment, we only need the AC. Vinnie and Dee saved us tons of money. They came on time, was very respectful of our property, explained the whole process, they are the best contractors we have met! No wonder they are fully booked! Just like what a retired HVAC guy who recommended Oliver Heating and Air, "I trust Vinnie my life!" Thanks Vinnie and Dee. You are the best!“

“11/06/24. This is the fourth project that B.A. Morrison has done on my residence. Construction Supervisor Dylan's supervision was truly impressive, tending to every detail: staffing, supplies, oversight, coordination with the county inspector, and many other tasks. He was patient, communicative, flexible, and visited the job site personally usually twice a day. Carl, the principal workman on the project, cannot be commended highly enough. Carl's range of experience in every phase of this project was nothing short of remarkable, whether it was plumbing, tiling, painting, or any other task. There was no problem that Carl could not solve out of his extensive experience. He was knowledgeable, efficient, fast, and helpful above and beyond, accommodating, and displaying a remarkable attention to detail. He took great pride in his work. “There is no one better than Don. Simply put, he's the only one in the business I trust. He's not going to B.S. you into spending money on something you don't need. I had two different AC companies this past summer tell me I needed a new furnace and AC system because I had leak in my system. Cost would be over $20K. Don came over and found a small loose gasket which was leaking gas, which somehow the other two companies missed after being here four times , and possibly even intentionally caused (I was also charged over $1K to refill the puron gas multiple times). Don had a gas detector that didn't pick up any other leak. Net net, Don saved me at least $20K which I'll be forever grateful for!!“

“This company was the fourth I contacted and got estimates for replacing my furnace. I chose A & R (Marko) because he’s practically neighbor and local here in my city.
His estimate was reasonable and close to all that I contacted. He gave me tips and tricks on what to do for proper maintenance on all our HVAC. Tips on not needed and money savings maintenance.

I am glad I decided to choose his company because Marko did a great job replacing my old, over 40 yrs, furnace. He did everything in one day, installed, checked and even checked my upstairs furnace and A/C too done by somebody else. He made a correction on the A/C duct that was incorrectly installed just a few years back. He smelled a little bit of gas coming from my water heater and he was able to fixed it as well.
He was extremely easy to contact when I had a question the next day regarding the new furnace. I texted him and he immediately called me back and helped me fixed it.
I am happy with my new money saving furnace that he recommended.

There were several other problems that Jose found, & I was shown pictures from the attic and crawl space under the house, to verify to me those things needed to be addressed. I was glad that I knew about the issues going in, instead of being blindsided by add ons later. Jose treated his team in a positive way, which I also appreciated. “Showed up on time and helped fix one of our GE gas burners which didn’t ignite! He had cleaned up all the orifices in 30 minutes and it works fine now. Costed us $180 for this. $85 diagnostic and the rest was labor for fixing it. I thought the diagnostic/ visit fee will be used towards parts and services but the looks like it does not. “I had a really bad install with a previous HVAC installer who shall go unnamed but they weren't very...E-fficient despite their name saying they were.

Comfy on the other hand was awesome. Their estimate was on the higher end compared to the last vendor but they did it right the first time. They came and diagnosed it quickly and pointed out that the last HVAC guys installed the wrong part. COMFY got the right part and replaced it and the whole system worked perfectly. Their admin team Angie and Chelsea are awesome. Carlos M did a perfect job installing. Titus was a great consultant who helped give a quote. Comfy works with the HERS test vendor to ensure the system is tested. It passed. Comfy deals with the city to ensure permits are pulled. The last HVAC lied when he said he pulled permits. Comfy was honest and did things right. Comfy was awesome. Dealing with the city is not nearly as fun but Comfy deals with it. The HERS test vendor they work with was awesome. I wished I knew about them earlier. Their high rating isn't a trick. They're that good!“
