He didn't charge me the emergency call fee. I had a quote for water heater replacement in my inbox the next morning. I ended up going with a firm specialized in switching from gas to electric but I would definitely call RotoRooter/ Premier for help in the future.

Dr. Wilson is easy to talk to, very professional and efficient. I've been having residual lower back pain and he's been diligently helping me overcome it. I am not a fan of rough chiropractic methods, and this place is very mellow. The office is old school, but comfortable and I really enjoy seeing all the hummingbirds. All in all it's a good place and I will likely be back.
I've seen Dr. Suzuki for years and am very grateful to have such a professional and caring eye Dr. I did switch to a Kaiser plan for a while and didn't have a consistent provider. In addition, their appts were generally stressful. Having a small town Dr. instead of being part of a chain definitely makes a difference. Dr. Suzuki really cares about her patients and is very knowledgeable. You can't find a better eye Dr!

FINALLY!!! I found a stylist who actually knows how to cut my hair! Jerry first worked his magic on my curly hair during my second year at UC Davis. He not only cut my hair to become more manageable and cut it properly for my kind of hair, but he educated me on what routines and hairstyles were damaging my hair and provided me with hair products that brought my curls to LIFE! Through hair masks, more nourishing shampoos, and conditioners he left me loving my curly hair like ever before. Now that Im graduating from college I am so grateful for the magic he was able to do with my crazy curly hair. Abi is great! Abi is a hairstylist from Japan who speaks Japanese. Someone who is familiar with Japanese hair products and has extensive experience in the United States. Even if you have thick, bristle hair like me, you can leave it to us to create a beautiful finish. Kind, polite and reassuring.
Hannah is a MASTER. Fantastic color - so much so that other stylists regularly comment on it. She's quick, too, which is so, so helpful. Cut is great. Overall, a true gem. One star off only because she is booked so far out! Allow 4-6 weeks. Maybe she could mentor up an associate?

Great first experience today for a pedicure. The husband took my appointment over the phone with 15min notice and did my nails. He was methodical and attentive, and did a great job with every step. Paid $40 cash (plus tip) for a gel pedicure with many of the luxury upgrades that I would expect from a more expensive “spa pedicure”: sugar scrub, hot stone massage etc. this will be my new pedicure spot in town!
This was hands down the best hair salon experience I've ever had. Lucero is calming and so lovely to be with. The hair wash/scalp massage was amazing! And I'm so pleased with my cut and the way she styled it. As long as I live in the area, I will be going back.

Ive done blonde, brunette, purple, red, copper, and orange. I've had waist long hair, bangs and shoulder length hair. It's never been damaged with her guidance and recommendations. I've been on my curly hair journey recently which has been a learning process for me. Vanessa has given me curly hair products that have made a drastic improvement on the way my hair curls. Marty Morse and his colleagues at Morse Remodeling did a fantastic job for us when we remodeled of our house. We wanted to both redo our kitchen and to remodel the house to create spaces for the dining room table and grand piano. Even though there had been enough overall area in our house for this furniture, the space was chopped up in ways that prevented easy placement solutions. Meghan was incredibly helpful and creative in designing the space to accommodate what we wanted, especially given the constraints. She listened to our concerns and wants and came up with solutions to the problems, while also making suggestions which enhanced the space in other ways. We were on sabbatical leave while the physical work of the remodel happened, and Meghan, Kevin, and Matt all kept us up to date on changes and decisions that needed to be made. Matt was the onsite guy, overseeing the overall job and doing the carpentry. He not only created a beautiful and useful finished space but listened to any concerns we had. We couldn’t be happier that we hired this group of people for our job. One more, not unimportant, comment, they finished the job on time!
We needed some major renovation work involving the conversion of a outdoor sun room into enclosed living space, and we knew it would be a complicated project so we hired a local building designer well-versed in Davis codes. With the plans and city approval in hand we started approaching the big-name local construction firms and were immediately met with resistance, as all insisted we shelve our design plans ($$!!!!) and use their own designers. They wanted to control all aspects of the construction, including the design, and although I respect that, I was not about to throw away $6,000 and an approved city permit. I contacted Mike Pesola, the owner of Bedrock Construction after doing some background checks, and he called back within a day. All I can say is I found Mike Pesola a true professional who was interested in how we wanted the project done, and was a project leader who made it happen. He took the plans and studied them and came to me within a week with an estimate that was within $5,000 of my own estimate of what the job should cost. We did it in two phases, starting in the fall, and then restarted again in April. Any costs outside of the contractual plan was clearly allocated, usually because we as owners decided to upgrade certain fixtures, but in all cases there were no surprises and the project moved forward on schedule and on budget. As a former contract administrator, I can tell you this requires both parties to pay attention to the details and keep both sides informed, which is exactly what happened. His crews were polite, cleaned up after the days work, and arrived when they said they were coming. When there were issues, and in construction projects there always are, Mike was there and things were ironed out seamlessly. Because of Covid 19 concerns, we delayed the planned 2nd phase by almost a month, and Mike worked with us in rescheduling his crews. Mike's father was a building contractor in NYC, and it was obvious Mike learned the business the right way. We are extremely pleased with the results and recommend Bedrock without any hesitation. It is a family business and run the way I would run my own business. Bottom line, project was delivered on time, on budget, with excellent results with no issues with the city or our neighbors! Thumbs up, Mike! Fine work!
Painted my parents house very well. Hired Reynolds Painting to refinish a 5,500 square foot house. Did the interior and exterior. Excellent attention to detail, and preparing home for sale. The house fetched top dollar in the marketplace. I recommend this business. House sold for 1.3mil. Amazing work guys and gals!

Every single team member showed a commitment to quality and transparency, and they were all very respectful and pleasant. We never had to worry about the overall quality of the work because our project manager was on site every day to make sure every aspect of the build was taken care of. We also enjoyed working with the design team and appreciated their guidance. We ended up with an airy and modern looking multi-use room and beautiful bathroom that fits our personal style! The team even helped us problem solve a unique storage solution that made up for the loss of our garage. We plan to use this team again for our upcoming kitchen and second bath remodel.

Due to their workmanship, communication, and competitive estimates, I went from using them on rental properties to having them remodel my own kitchen and bathroom. No job is too small or big for Pacific Craft Builders. They are willing to share ideas and make recommendations, but also listens to their client's wishes. They provide great value in many different areas of the building process. In the past I have used 4 other local contractors on prior projects but from this point on I will only use Pacific Craft Builders. I was in agony for a week because wisdom tooth filling came out 2 months and got infected. Pain scale >9000/10. I had to wait 2 more weeks for insurance to start. It was so painful and I already finished maybe 2 bottles of ibuprofen. Couldn't sleep for days. My liver and I couldn't take it anymore so I googled for 5 stars dentist which was open that day and called them. I knew nothing about no-insurance dental service in the US, so I was expecting very expensive procedure the week after our something, since it was Friday morning when I called.Instead they were really amazing! They immediately got me an appointment within next 2 hours. They gave me a clear cost estimate which I think is very fair for X-ray, anesthesia, and pulling teeth ($250ish). The procedure was fast & straightforward, literally ZERO pain throughout, and it was over before I knew it. The most was maybe ant-bite level pain during anesthesia injection, which honestly was nothing. I just got out when writing this review - finally no more pain!!! Definitely coming back to them for future dental maintenance!
I've been seeing this dentist for the past 19-20 or so years, since I was a toddler who was first getting their teeth. About two years back, I moved to the bay area, just still make the hour and a half drive to see Dr. Pisciotta for all my dental needs. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He's so caring, gentle, kind, and does extremely good and precise work.

Since moving to Davis, 4 years ago, I've gone to 5 chiropractors. Two of the 5 only took me a single visit to know I wouldn't return. The other 3 were mediocre but ok. Then I learned about Dr. Ackerman thru YELP. Dr. A is highly skilled working with my neck, for example--where all the others wanted to twist & turn it like I'm 30 yrs old--his approach: gentle yet super effective-- EX: no more migraines which have haunted me for several years.
I have been going this year 2024 since I had pain in my neck and it's very convenient to go whenever I can, no appointment needed. When I randomly decide to go, there's no wait time. I'm in and out. Then I became pregnant and I'm still going. They don't do anything that makes me feel uncomfortable while pregnant. I usually go because of my schedule, when Dr. Simon is there, and she is polite, listens to you, and takes care of you. I recommend going even when pregnant. I had chiropractor care as well, before with my other previous pregnancy with my work insurance. I lost the insurance; found this, no insurance needed! In my previous experience, chiropractor care was the best thing that happened to me. There was less back pain(right now, I'm 31 weeks and I feel that I don't have back pain), it also helped me with a faster delivery of baby, and post partum recovery. I'm so glad I found this because with the insurance I have now, they don't cover chiropractor visits. I can go whenever I can and it's not expensive. One more thing, sometimes I have to take my children with me. The office and chiropractors are all kid friendly. Thank you to all the chiropractors that have assisted me here and Dr. Simon and Rea!

I've been going to Pure Motion since they first opened. Dr. Bryon Cloyd is fantastic and takes care of my chronic neck and back issues and I would not be functional without his care. He's an experienced chiropractor who gets to know your specific issues and addresses them at every visit.

Hot Yoga Davis has greatly improved my health and well being. The heat greatly increases flexibility and the order of the postures build on one another to create a great 90 minute workout. Erin provides corrections without calling anyone out, but I know and appreciate when such suggestions are directed at me. Erin’s teaching of the class has advanced my yoga practice since taking my first class with her in 2022.

Classical Pilates teaches you a way to learn to listen to your body in terms of what you need and how to get there and Laura is a gifted teacher and guide.

Excellent!!! Nanci is just amazing! She knew where my body was in the most need and set out to start the healing. She is intuitive to the bodies needs and can provide advice to help after the massage is done. Very knowledgeable about her profession. Extremely comfortable environment, gorgeous landscaping and calming atmosphere. It’s like a little oasis.?️ I came from out of state based on the recommendations of her clients and I was not disappointed. Typically, massages leave me feeling dizzy and even nauseated. Absolutely no bad feelings or side effects with her services and I truly felt a healing afterwards!!

Deep tissue massage with Kat highly recommended. Quiet studio with a sound table that pairs well with massage. Kat is quite a healer with a very firm touch that has helped to reduce my migraines and recover from sports injuries. Cool downtown location by coffee and tea shops that make my visits to Kat more like a spa day.
I had a great massage with Katie. She adapted to what I needed and left me completely relaxed. Since I'm not from Davis, it took longer than I expected to find the location, but I will gladly go back. I liked the peace and privacy of the location.

Kellie is such a wonderful massage therapist, and I would highly recommend her. She spent time understanding my pain and needs, and is so caring. Outstanding massages always! And the room itself is a lovely setting that they have designed to be perfectly relaxing.
This massage practice is truly a safe place. Not only is Alyx a highly skilled and intuitive massage therapist (I feel physical relief and more space in my body after each appointment), but he has also created an inclusive and safe environment, especially for folks with disabilities or chronic illnesses, neurodivergent and queer people, and low income people.
I highly recommend coming to be treated by Alyx if you’ve been uncomfortable or nervous about massage in the past. He’s the best massage therapist I’ve ever had and is an important part of my support network as I work through a chronic illness and mental health challenges.
I came in with pain and left without pain. This guy knows his stuff. He has a unique massage style that I haven’t experienced before. I asked for deep tissue massage and it was deep tissue with different techniques. The atmosphere is really relaxing and the taste of music is definitely more modern than most massage places.
Iris is pleasant and professional. She listened carefully and worked on specific problems. She is a deep tissue massage expert. Great job! I walked in stressed and cranky. Glided out w problems solved. The office is pleasant and she is really nice. Highly recommend.
Always an excellent massage from Mayra. She is able to do a very deep therapeutic massage. I have seen her for massage for I think 7-8 years, maybe longer, and I have seen a lot of massage therapists over the years for comparison. She is so well loved by her clients that it’s tough to get an appointment with her. I drive an hour each way because it is so worth it.

My wife and I went in as a couple package and after getting our messages all the reviews that say negative things i got to admit that their reviews are so wrong and need to understand that everyone is entitled to post their reviews but even tho i seen bad reviews we still went and got to say that we had a very good excellent experience and we took the 1.5 hour deal and really enjoy it.
Excellent business and would highly recommend. I went in for neck pain and all my questions were answered. I definitely am feeling less pain and enjoy my relaxing time while I'm receiving my acupuncture.
I highly recommend Denise for acupuncture! She is knowledgeable, caring, and deeply invested in helping her clients. She has been able to treat a medical problem that has baffled my doctors. My time in her care is always pleasant and relaxing, and she has been able to accommodate my crowded schedule. Her approach is careful, and she takes into consideration her client's constitution and circumstances, rather than just trying to treat a physical issue in isolation.
I'm really glad that Johanna was recommend to me highly by my massage therapist. I was having extremely bad perimenopause symptoms (hot flashes, sweating, heart palpitations), and since taking a combination of supplements and working with Johanna those have dramatically reduced. When I'm laying in her office with my needles in, I feel relaxed looking up at the pink ceiling while listening to the bird sounds. Her style of practice is to use a medium amount of needles (about 15-25) a session and she changes the placement of the needles each time. Oh, and I forgot to mention her rates are definitely reasonable and she does accept FSA/HSA cards which is a plus!
