We needed some major renovation work involving the conversion of a outdoor sun room into enclosed living space, and we knew it would be a complicated project so we hired a local building designer well-versed in Davis codes. With the plans and city approval in hand we started approaching the big-name local construction firms and were immediately met with resistance, as all insisted we shelve our design plans ($$!!!!) and use their own designers. They wanted to control all aspects of the construction, including the design, and although I respect that, I was not about to throw away $6,000 and an approved city permit. Bedrock Construction is by far the best remodel contractor in Davis. I have used them several times over the years for remodels, additions and sometimes for smaller projects like leak detention and dry rot repairs. They built our beautiful underground wine cellar on time and on budget. Mike is honest and directly addresses and resolves any issues. I like that he always returns his calls promptly and keeps me informed. I highly recommend Bedrock Construction for all your remodel needs.
