Pugh Memorials made an exceptionally beautiful headstone for my husband & me. He listened to every detail & made it happen. The first time I went into his studio, he sketched what I was saying and from there, we made it happen. I changed photos a few times and he had no problem. He was able to get installed yesterday, the week before Christmas and I was so happy. It's absolutely gorgeous and I'm so pleased. However I think I was very lucky they have some great hairdressers in here and every time I've been in they've done a great job. And they also bend over backwards to get me in even sometimes on short notice. If you like a good hometown salon with good people you should check this place out.

I highly recommend this place for kids ! I took my 5 year old daughter and she definitely had the royal treatment. They actually took their time shaping and cleaning her nails as well as painting them . They also took their time with her pedicure massaging her little feet . They offered her water and a chocolate during her pedicure. I've been to other places where they paint her nails with one coat and finish in less than 10 mins . They have pedicure chairs just for kids too . Will definitely be taking my daughter here again .

I've been getting my hair cut here with Jodie for four years and she gives me the best haircuts. She's fantastic!!! She always does exactly what I ask for, in a way that looks uber-professional and sleek. Also, I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for an appointment and prices are more than reasonable. Ryan has a single chair shop & handles my mom & I together so we can carpool from Sacramento. Ryan's hair advise is to be trusted as he knows hair & everything a person might want to do to their hair. His shop is always neat & tidy plus he sells great hair products & a few handmade personal items. Liz, a massage therapist, also has space here & has products for sale. I've not used her services but her clients certainly seem relaxed when they emerge from her room!
Sandra is the best and has reasonable prices. She has been doing my hair now for about 6 years when I moved to Woodland. In her salon she is the only cosmetologist and I like that.

Rita has been waxing me since she was in Davis, and now that she owns The Wax Room and is local to Woodland, booking and rescheduling has become super convenient.
Today we tried soft wax instead of hard wax, and I’m never going back! Waxing is never completely painless, but switching to soft wax made the discomfort hardly noticeable. It was so much faster, and the results are incredibly clean and smooth.
If you’ve been curious about soft wax, I highly recommend giving it a try. You won’t want to go back! Hands down the best switch ever!

I took my 10 year old daughter to get her first ever ear piercing and Jose was AWESOME! He was patient with her and he told her the whole process. he also took time to acknowledge fears and did not minimize how she was feeling. I enthusiastically endorse Daryle Hewitt of Hewitt & Sons Plumbing, a state-licensed contractor based in Woodland. Daryle responded to our call for emergency service to restore our sewer line, which had become completely blocked with debris. He showed up when he said he would -- on a Sunday, no less -- with the right video-guided equipment to unclog our sewer line. He was diligent, thorough and obviously experienced. This is my second time working with AP plumbing. The first time I needed some pipes resealed and new pipes in the basement. I was pleased with their work and haven't had any issues - and it's been over two years. The second time, a year in October, I had a ton of clogs and coincidentally, my water heater started leaking the day before they came out. They cleared all of the clogs and replaced my water heater - all seamlessly done and reasonably priced. Nathan is awesome to work with and knows what he's doing. Jen (in the office) is friendly and super helpful. I go to them for all of my plumbing needs!
I noticed a leak in the valve between the wall & toilet. There was a rust stain on the tile. They came asap and promptly fixed it. They even cleaned the rust off the tile.
Yolo plumbing wanted $250.00 an hour and didn't want to send anyone out to check the problem with my shower. And McKee Brothers plumbing showed up and gave me a free estimate. $675.00 to replace the shower arm. Nicholas showed up and did the work for $150.00 he also showed within 30min of the phone call. He was very professional and talked me through the process of the problem. The job was done immediately after talking to me with superb results. Honest hard working people like Nicholas are rare these days. I will only do business with Nicholas from now on as he has earned my trust.

Everything but the larger furniture was stored in the garage, and this seemed like a perfect time for a deep clean. On a Friday, the day after the floors were finished, I called Daisy Does It. Daisy came out the same afternoon to give me an estimate! I wanted the kitchen and bathroom deep cleaned, as well the doors, blinds, inside windows and light fixtures. I also wanted the furniture cleaned and the floors and bookshelves dusted. Daisy quoted me a very reasonable price, and scheduled her team to come the following Monday! Her team of three, headed by Gloria, came right on time, and cleaned for four hours. Everything I asked for was done, and the house just sparkled. Dr. Amy Thu Tran and her staff are amazing. I was in severe pain. I was a new patient and her office was able to squeeze me in same day. Dr. Tran was able to diagnose my pain when others could not. She listened to me and a day later the severe pain was gone. I wished I called her first instead of being in pain for a week when others said it was just a muscle spasm.

Premier Chiropractic and Pilates is an excellent clinic that focuses on the whole person, not just the adjustment itself. At my first appointment, the staff measured the flexibility in my neck, back, and hips. They also used a scanner to analyze the shape of my feet for custom orthotics. To help your body recover after an adjustment, they provide a hydromassager, a traction table, and a muscle stimulator. Because they measure your progress every month, you can actually see the improvement in your rotation and flexibility. I could immediately feel the difference in how I walk thanks to the custom arches made for my foot type. Additionally, they offer amazing one-on-one Pilates classes that help align the back and hips. Dawn is nothing short of amazing! She cared for my 7 year old German Shepard after TPLO surgery on his back leg. Recovery time is long and she kept him for 5 weeks. He shed extra pounds, regained his leg strength, and completely healed from the surgery under her amazing care. He adores her and she clearly loved him back!! She’s the best!!
The only mobile vet I could actually reach when my giant dog got injured and was in too much pain to be loaded and transported. The doctor spent about 20 minutes on the phone with me helping come up with strategies to get my dog to an ER vet. He was also willing to schedule a house call, even though my house is pretty far from his location. I really appreciate his compassion and kindness.
Drs. Clifton and Tucker are kind, informative, and thorough, as are the staff. All are responsive to calls and requests. The clinic is cozy and tidy, and doesn't smell like a kennel or some other veterinary offices. I'm grateful for the compassion and care they've shared with our fur family over the last four years we've visited as needed and for checkups and preventative treatments. So glad a friend recommended them to us!
Dr. Singh caught my dogs cancer on our first visit when no other vet noticed the tumor even though it had been there for a couple years. He successfully removed it surgically and she's been doing great. I'm so thankful!

These ladies did such a great job with my pup! I was nervous because his last groomer seemed annoyed with how anxious he would be so I stopped taking him to get groomed professionally altogether and started doing it myself. The ladies waited until he was relaxed enough to start bathing him which I was grateful to see the care my dog would be in. They were so kind and patient. I thought he was decently brushed by me but they educated me on how to comb his hair so we can keep his length for next time as well as make it an easier cut altogether, and luckily they were able to get rid of the mats in his hair. They left him looking so handsome and smelling so good!! Im really excited to have them over again.
Stephanie is amazing! I’ve taken my 3 dogs here for years and referred her to family and friends. Yes you have to make an appointment for your fur babies, but it’s worth it. If you just want to give your fur baby a wash yourself, call a head and she’ll rent out a grooming stall with everything you’ll need.
This is the best massage I’ve ever had. She’s got hands of wonder. I had a severe headache due to a back pain and neck pain and I booked the salon for an hour. It took her only 15 minutes to complete to completely worked out the problem and I was gone in 15 minutes because I told her stop you didn’t need to do anymore because she had completely healed my situation. I recommend her very highly. I will go to no one else but her and I gave her what it cost to do my back for an hour because it was that darn good.
