Karl, the owner, actually came out to bid it which I thought was awesome and showed they are a small, family owned business. Garrett came promptly at the time he said he would. He took a look at the leak and kindly explained what needed to be done to fix it. His quote turned out to be higher than other plumbers but I'm not dinging them any stars for that because they did exactly what I asked them to do: Take a look and give us a quote and they did it in a friendly manner. We were quoted a job by a big name sewer & drain company with a plan to open up the sidewalk, replace our old, misaligned concrete drain with PVC, and then shoot a liner out to the street.My brother-in law said we need to call The Pipe Dr, they had just done some great work for him. I told Tricia our issue, and she recommended the same procedures, for about 1/3 of the price. She showed me samples from her truck and made sure I understood the process & materials. Her crew is diligent & respectful, and had their work cleaned up and contained between service days. All properly permitted and inspected by the city before they closed it back up, and the sidewalk now looks nicer where they worked, than it does on the rest of the block. : )The tens of thousands of dollars she saved us, and the awesome communication, and being able to support an honest, local, family run business feels like such a win/win/win. “Simply the best! Called Bobby T's with a leak in the shower pan. Had to leave a message, he called back later in the day. We set up a date, time and a rough estimate of what he thought it might cost. He arrived on time. He looked over the situation and realized the installer had a gasket placed in upside down. He fixed that and the final price was lower than he thought it would be. Bobby conducts business the way it used to be conducted with honesty, respect and quality workmanship. “Sean is an amazing plumber. I had a major leak in my dishwasher/garbage disposal hookup after a big box dishwasher installation. This made it impossible for me to use my kitchen sink. Sean was in the neighborhood and he stopped at my house within an hour to take a look at the problem. Sean has a lot of experience and he knew exactly what to do within minutes of looking at everything. He had the parts on hand to fix the issue and fixed the entire problem very quickly and at a great price. Everything is now working perfectly. He’s a super nice guy on top of being a great plumber. “I've worked with 2 sons in both a design and emergency capacity. For the design, they installed a tankless heater in series with our heat pump water heater. It's been running swell, install was fast and on time & budget, and they were one of the few willing to take on a job of the complexity (didn't think it was that complex but apparently other plumbers we reached out to thought it was?) Second time was for our drainage pump alarm going off. They promised to come out the next day on a weekend but found some time to squeeze me in about an hour after I initially called. Apparently my float valves were stuck. Also super fast, professional, and they reduced the price given it wasn't a failing pump as I initially feared and thus the time wasn't as long as estimated. Fair and competent plumbers, will work with them again.“
