I was at a sandwich shop in Gloucester, and a lady had a perfect, beautiful haircut, so I had to ask her who cut it. Yes, Johnathan. The shop is 1 hour from my house. I walked into a beautiful salon and was greeted by a lady who just made me immediately feel at home. Johnathan walked up with a very calming, nice demeanor. In my 69 years, he is on the top of the list with his gift. My hair was cut with a stack in the back and slightly longer sides.
When I got home, my sweet husband, who is honest said oh my stay with him, you're sexy with that cut.

David Doan, owner, is a down-to-earth brother, who gives all of his customers a fair chance. He's a philanthropist and a no-nonsense people-person.
If I'm not mistaken, He may be the only licensed barber. However, several of the barber chairs are made available for apprentice individuals who may be furthering his/her vocational skills in the barbering business. He trains his staff well and ensures that they are meeting state and regulatory standards and protocols.
Usually, David, can get a customer in and out of his chair in less than 20 minutes, depending on the cut. He's fast, accurate, and pays attention to detail, while not charging his customers an arm and a leg.

I started growing my beard about 3 months. decided I needed a trim. wasn't looking like I wanted it to look. I was looking for a place to get it trim. Found The proper shop. They had great reviews, I made an appointment to get my head shaved and a beard trim. I met Jennifer, she was absolutely awesome. Explained everything I needed to know what I needed for my trim and head shave. When she was done. It was perfect to me. Went back today 5 weeks later. Looks just as perfect as the first time. A other awesome job. Anyone who has a beard or needs a head shave. Proper is the place to go.

Genuinely the best experience I’ve had at a salon. The space is cozy and super well-kept, and the staff? Absolutely incredible. I got the acrylic set shown in the photos below (not posting pics of my feet, lol) along with a pedicure. Both turned out beautifully. The precision on the line work was insane—so clean and detailed. She worked quickly and efficiently, and I left beyond pleased with my nails. I can’t wait to come back… and if you're thinking about it, you definitely should too!
I came in without an appointment as a walk-in around 2pm for a fill and pedicure. I was immediately greeted by Tatiana & Z, they were both with clients and I knew there would be a wait which was no issue. I am a diabetic so I have to be super careful where I go for my services and this salon does everything according to State Board - very clean and sanitary. I was honestly impressed. My fingers and toes look & feel amazing, I simply cannot wait to go back in 2 weeks!

I generally don't like saunas since I overheat pretty quickly. The red light bed is different. It looks similar to a tanning bed. I was in there for 20 minutes. Only started to get warm, maybe the last two. I did do the red light therapy bed first and then went and did cryotherapy that order is supposed to be more beneficial

I took my 5 year old daughter in to get her ears pierced and the entire staff was so kind. They included her in the process of picking out her earrings and really just hyped her up overall. I can't say enough good about these guys. They were recommended by Dale at Doors and More. They gave me a fair price and did a great job! They reroofed my house, garage and two gazebos. They showed up on time, fixed my leaking roof and left me with a brand new shingled roof. They were also very professional in the installation and left the jobsite spotless. We have used E&R for the past few years. They came and incapsulated our crawl space and installed a dehumidifier. From start to finish of that project, they were great to work with. We have them come out yearly to check and service the dehumidifier and inspect the crawl space for moisture and pests. They are always prompt and knowledgeable. We are in the process of selling our home and I wanted to be sure that the next owner would be able to have the home serviced if they chose. They were helpful in navigating this and setting things up. Highly recommend!

They came and topped and trimmed some wild trees at the back of my yard today. Crew of 5 plus the owner first thing in the AM, done in an hour. They took everything away and my yard looked spotless afterward. Continually checked in with me while cutting to make sure it was what I wanted. Everyone was very professional, friendly, and courteous!! And the price was incredibly reasonable! I highly recommend and will definitely use them again!!!

Yes there are tons of Dental offices, but I’m happy I chose this one. Dr Porter was very professional, and knowledgeable. He chit chatted with me so as to make me feel comfortable. He really got the job done. His assistance was great as well. I am definitely going back for all my teeth cleaning, & x rays. I highly recommend them. The entire areas were clean, and well kept. Most insurances accepted.

I have a cavity they had to drill in the bottom back molar of my mouth. The doctors were able to numb me up so much I almost fell asleep while they had the drill inside my head because I felt absolutely nothing. That takes some serious skill!
Not saying I'm going to go out and seek cavities but the fear of such dental procedures going forward has been reduced tremendously, and it didn't break the bank to achieve!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Kevin for a month and a half for prenatal adjustments and can’t say enough good things. He’s extremely knowledgeable and informative about what he’s doing and how you can maintain your progress. After just two visits 80% of my discomfort had subside and I was working with just normal pregnancy aches instead of the chronic, shooting pain I was having. It’s made all the difference! He’s also helped my husband quite a bit with his issues and now sees him occasionally for maintenance. He’s made care very affordable and accessible even if you don’t have insurance. It’s very clear that his practice is about the people.

I waited a reasonable time for my referral appt. I was seen quickly, the room was clean, set up and ready when I entered. Ashley was friendly, professional and explained the paperwork and what I could expect thoroughly. When Dr Mazzurco entered he took time to explain what he would be doing, ensured me that any questions I had were welcome. He is easy to talk to, was obviously concerned about my comfort and understanding. Dr Dove is amazing and is very knowledgeable! She does such a good job with my 4 dogs. She has gone out of her way to get my dog a medical diagnosis that was needed and communicated with me regarding medication changes and whether or not I felt them necessary based on behavior at home. She also introduced me to a shot that is good for my one dog’s arthritis. It is 100% worth the ride from Chesapeake to Newport News once a month because the difference is astronomical! The staff are amazing and will go out of their way to help you. If you are looking for a vet, I highly recommend Dr Dove! Warwick Animal Hospital treats you like you’re family and treats your animals as if they were their own.

Dr. Guftafson is an angel on Earth. He is the most Brilliant and Compassionate doctor I have EVER known (and I’m 62). He knows volumes about veterinary medicine! He keeps up on everything new …. including cutting edge technologies and pharmaceuticals. He also shows compassion during the toughest of times. If you are looking for a vet, please do your precious animal and yourself a huge favor and choose Dr. Guftafson. I wish he was MY physician and my family’s physician, as well! BEST VET/DOCTOR EVER!!!!!

I have had my pets in the care of Dr. Gibson for numerous years, including prior to her having the mobile vet service. I do prefer a mobile vet because the animals are so much more at ease. Dr. Gibson honestly loves what she does and this shows. Whenever I am able, I have her services. She has also been available for euthanasia. While that is awful and sad to experience, I can’t think of a better person, doctor and situation for this need.Because this is a small mobile vet service with limited hours, you generally need to call ahead and schedule regarding availability. If she is unable to perform certain services due to the nature of her mobile service, or feels that your animal would benefit from services elsewhere, she will recommend that.Dr. Gibson is professional, moral, a good communicator and a downright good person and veterinarian who loves animals.
JD, our cat, was holding up his paw for a few days and we decided to take him to Colony Animal Hospital, our vet provider for many years. Thanks to their early morning drop off (7:30 AM) I was able to bring him in and he would be seen as time permitted. Dr. Riggs was able to see JD early and discovered a burn/cut on his paw. Via phone call she let us know about the injury and her treatment plan and meds we could get when we picked up JD. The care for JD was excellent and the office routines are well established and flow smoothly.

They do not do walk-ins at all but they were able to squeeze me and my fur baby in! I was so pleased and thankful for them. It was her first time being groomed since I have had her. Susan is my hero! I took my cat to a vet for a nail trim and sanitary trim, and they did an awful job and overcharged. I came here as a walk-in hoping for a more thorough job. Susan got us in and out so fast, was extremely thorough and professional, and my nervous cat did great. Additionally, the prices here are extremely affordable. I can’t recommend this place enough!

This is a great spot to go to, I said my neck hurts and I need to remove the pain. She insisted I get the hot stone so I did with a deep tissue massage. She massaged with hands and feet. Feet was used because I was really tight. Thank you again. Will come back.
I will never go to any other massage therapist, I am spoiled now! The space is very intimate and welcoming, and she is so understanding and gentle with you. The massages she does leave me feeling relaxed and the pain I've carried for months was worked out and I'm now pain free.
Also, her reiki is incredible! I cried afterward, I was left so relaxed with all my body and mind's stress completely gone, she knew exactly what I had been going through without me having to say a word. Very powerful!

Essential oil weren't strong in smell. make sure to communicate sensory concerns. its warm and i had no issues with the temp. Lastly, remember to do all that breathing work through the experience! It really helps ease the anxiety and get a deeper better massage. Enjoy!

Went in and asked for a back walking massage which wasn’t available at the time. Then asked for a Swedish massage. Massage was great and worked out all my sore muscles. There was bit of a language barrier but we were still able to communicate. Felt relaxed the rest of the day. Will definitely come back again

I started coming a few weeks ago and in that short time, I am walking and moving better than I did when I was a teenager and I am in my mid forties You definitely get out what you put in, but they make it so much easier to put in the effort when they walk you through the process and encourage you to take care of yourself! Being a person of size, I tend to be sensitive about my weight, but they are not judgy or pushy, just kind and helpful!I have mostly worked with Tyler, but Darren has come in and assisted me a well. Allana(sp?) is such a friendly cheerful person, she is a a wonderful person to greet you first thing in the morning!Great job alll around! I appreciate you all very much!
I received exceptional surgical care from the nurses and staff at Mary Immaculate Hospital recently. Check-in was smooth and efficient . Nursing care by Penny, Courtney and Renee and (so many others) was comforting and reassuring. My questions were answered and I left feeling the whole experience was a positive one.
All of the therapists are very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Riverside Physical Therapy. The front office staff are nice and polite. I even got a therapist with personal knowledge of my condition which is saying a lot because most doctors have never even heard of my condition. This place is outstanding!

It was quick and easy to register to Peninsula Driving School LLC. Staff was nice. I want to give a shout out to Ms. Suzanne who was my daughter's instructor for 7 days. She was amazing! She was very lenient with our schedule. She worked around our hectic schedule. My daughter said that she liked her a lot too becase, she felt comfortable and safe driving with such an amazing instructor. In less than 2 months, my daughter received her real DL ID.
