“If you’re looking to advance your practice with compassionate, skilled instructors I highly recommend Chestnut Hill Yoga. I started with Iyengar 2 then finished with Iyengar 4 and truly appreciate the attention to detail during cuing and personalized instruction in the group setting. Next time I’m in Nashville, I’ll be back!Thank you Aretha, for a blissful experience.“

Not only does she offer quality chiropractic adjustments, but she also does scraping, cupping, and offers rehab exercises. I recently tried dry needling and it helped tremendously with my neck pain. Each instructor changed up the exercises to keep us progressing forward at our own pace. Continued class participation = improved mobility. Highly recommend Club Pilates and each instructor at Belle Meade.“
“We booked a private group class at sanctuary yoga for my bachelorette and Daphne was WONDERFUL. The studio was full of natural light and was very welcoming. My group had all levels of yoga students and Daphne made the hour long practice fitting for all of us. We all felt great and had the best time the rest of the weekend. We all wish we had a sanctuary yoga studio with a Daphne back in our hometowns. Namaste <3“

213 S 17th St, Nashville“I used to take classes with Laurel when I lived in Nashville and the only reason I stopped is because I moved to a different city! Laurel is, by far, the BEST pilates teacher I've ever had! She was able to help me with moves that I've always had difficulty with and gave me really helpful tips on how to work on my roll-ups and downs (MY FOREVER NEMESIS). She is truly something special!!! Plus, her dog is really cute!!! Hi, Chichi!!!!“

1119 12th Ave S, Nashville“I no longer live in Nashville, but in my time there, I spent many mornings at SMY. I appreciate that classes are donation-based, and the whole concept is about giving back to the community. The instructors are great. I haven't been to the new location, but I did enjoy the quaint house SMY previously occupied.“
“I have lived in Nashville for 4 years now, having come from London, UK. I have been searching for dance classes for my daughter and son since then and tried many over the 4 years. I could never find quite the right fit. What I was looking for seemed impossible - a place that fosters and nurtures a child's love of dancing without being overly strict, a place where parents can choose to watch if they want but no pressure either way (I've been to dance schools where they literally put cardboard up in the door so you couldn't see in ), a place that is affordable, a class that leads to a recital at the end to give the kids purpose and direction, a room that is conducive to dance without being intimidating to newbies, teachers who seem to enjoy what they are doing and are genuinely inclusive. I am over the moon to be able to say I found it! It is the Dancer Project! My 4 yo son attended his first class recently and he was welcomed with open arms. The class was driven without being demanding and the teacher Miss Sarah was absolutely wonderful with the children. Of course with a class of 3 and 4 year olds you can get the odd moment where a child leaves the class to seek a parent's comfort and this did not disrupt the class at all and no child was chastised for doing this. The other parents were so lovely and welcoming too which I think is a reflection of the school and the staff. The Dancer Project reminded me very much of my own dance experience as a child and that warmed my heart. I am so, so glad I found this place and I'm hopeful in time that, after some not so great experiences at other schools, my older child will give dance another go now that we have found a home. If you are looking for a dance school that is super professional yet unpretentious and will welcome your child with open arms, this is it!“
“I have been practicing at this studio for the last thirteen years. All the teachers are wonderful. I've practiced regularly over the years with Rachel Mathenia, Aretha, and Paige, and all are caring, attentive and care about their students. I started practicing due to back pain, and thanks to Iyengar yoga and the spectacular teachers at 12S Yoga, I've been able to take care of my back and build the strength and flexibility needed to avoid injury. If you want to really learn the asanas and be able to practice safely at home, I would highly recommend Iyengar and this studio. They will also help you adapt poses so that this really is yoga for any body.“

809 12th Ave S, Nashville“Stellar! Don't knock it til you try it!My first class with Sande Rae was so lovely. Hard but doable. I'm out of shape with lower back pain, but because the movements are slow, I was able to adjust and modify with ease when needed. I could feel my muscles pulsing and quivering most of the time! For those 40 minutes I was totally engaged.Let me back up and say, that when I came into BodyRok at the Gulch, the customer service and hospitality made me feel welcome and secure. The woman at check-in was so kind. Sande Rae took the time to orient me, and she also helped me with my form throughout the class. I'm blown away at her patience and grace! It was obvious I was a last-minute newcomer and the team was so forgiving.I'm traveling and wasn't anticipating anything other than a quick and funky workout. I came out of class feeling better in my body and delighted to be there! Thank you!“

304 Starlight Dr, Nashville“Just had my first visit with Jillian and she dId not disappoint! I was way overdue for a massage and as tense as anybody could be. Jillian went over everything before the massage began and was thorough and respectful throughout the entire massage itself. I opted for a 90minute massage and I feel soo much better and more relaxed than I was before.“
“The staff was friendly and helpful. However I will say it’s more of a HIIT class in terms of tempo.“

“Regarding my experience and some other reviews:First, for me…the Osher Center has been a life saver. Whether it’s the low calm lighting as you walk through the door, the smiles from the employees or even the free coffee before your session…I am so grateful for all of the things they provide, both large and small. Cynthia has such a warm heart and has been so very gentle and patient. The online classes they provide are a huge asset to the community. The staff at the front always speak softly and Physical Therapy is entirely wrapped around my specific conditions which I have not found anywhere else in Nashville. It’s not like the typical PT corporations where you speak to your therapist for a few minutes and you’re packed into a room full of people and equipment (which is how I got Covid) and left for most of the time. Those therapists aren’t trained to work with people who have certain medical conditions where regular physical therapy can actually hurt them more than help.As far as the complaints. If you are reading these reviews to decide whether or not to go, please read the reasons for the bad reviews first as well as how long ago they are. Now, regarding the complaints about it being too expensive, I would advise that people contact the Vanderbilt Financial Assistance program.I am on disability and they have helped me pay for my doctors, medications, procedures and my visits to Osher. Yes, Osher is more expensive than regular PT centers, but that’s because they are highly trained and specialized in their areas of expertise with years of experience. Also Osher isn’t for everyone, many of the times the regular PT places can be all you need and they are much more affordable.Osher is so much more than just physical therapy. It’s a place where you learn to move your body the right way, calm the mind, seek mental health support through practice and mindfulness, find needed comfort and to get the specific help you need. But again, please contact the Vanderbilt Financial Services and see if they can cover your extra costs as they do mine. Advocate for yourself.“

“Beautiful center. The staff seems friendly and welcoming. I noticed that visitors that were showing up to visit were just as excited to be there as I was.“
