“Spurr installed a humidifier the day after I called. It was in a cold snap and my new engineered wood flooring was shrinking and twisting. I needed to either replace the whole furnace or the 2 heat exchangers. It was a costly decision given the fact I'm a senior on a fixed income. To my surprise, the heat exchangers were still under warranty so it made sense to replace them as opposed to a complete furnace overhaul. I appreciated her time in answering my questions as well as assuring me with my decision. The job took close to 2 hours which is typical to replace two heat exchangers. They left the area clean and did a thorough inspection check prior to leaving which was comforting. “My furnace shut off on February 1st, 2026, during one of the coldest days of the winter. After replacing the filter, the furnace ran for a couple of hours and then shut off again, leaving us without heat on a Sunday when most HVAC companies were closed.
A good friend referred me to Concord HVAC & Plumbing and told me to call Najib. He answered the phone within a couple of rings, was extremely professional, calm, and transparent right from the start — no sales pressure, no hidden fees, no surprises.
Despite it being a Sunday, Najib showed up within a couple of hours, thoroughly inspected the furnace, and clearly explained the issue. He was honest and upfront in advising that the furnace needed to be replaced. What really impressed me was his commitment — he replaced the furnace the very next day, which was a huge relief given the freezing temperatures.

“We had this company remove our oil furnace and replace it with a Mitsubishi Cold Climate Heat Pump in 2022. We approached JC Indoor because we heard that the Mitsubishi system was the best available in Canada and that it can function all year in our climate. John Ciotti impressed us with his knowledge, experience, and relationship with Mitsubishi. He was very patient as we had to wait over 6 months for Hydro to upgrade our electrical panel. His crew arrived very soon after that was done. They, including John's son and Paul, were very efficient and clearly very experienced. “With so many ready to criticize and complain so quickly, and so few prepared to acknowledge tremendous work and quality service, I’d like to post this for Active Air Inc.I was facing a troubling situation a few days ago, where not only was the water heater not functioning properly, but the furnace also. This was tough, facing the weather this week, having children and knowing the essential needs of a household that requires heat and hot water.This is when Active Air Inc. came into my world and I’m thankful for it. Within hours of the issue being reported to the company, tradesman and company representative Zack arrived. He quickly assessed what the issues were and then provided a number of options that were explained clearly and left no doubt in my mind what could be done to resolve this quickly and relatively inexpensively.
