I was shopping around for a roof replacement. I contacted Roho Roofing, and they came on-site and did a full, detailed roof inspection. TJ Bus Line is the best!!! Looking for a bus can be challenging and hard. I was able to connect with TJ right away and got my bus for a group trip. The bus was super clean and the driver was amazing. If you need transportation, TJ bus is the best and safest way to plan your trips across Canada!
Gabby came to redo our caulking for the bathfitter shower unit. She is extremely professional, pleasant and friendly to talk to. She explained how she would do the work and went an extra mile by keeping the area clean and diligently doing the caulking and checking for leaks. Esther did great job! As I went first time for hair straightening and was amazing. The product was natural and treatment took a lot time but she did very nicely. Only issue was with my hair cut so it didn’t go well at last. But she can’t do with my hair cut due to length of hair. Overall it’s good.
I visited this salon today and had my haircut done by Seta. She was extremely nice, friendly, and professional. From the beginning, she asked me about my choices and really listened to what I wanted. I got layers and butterfly bangs, and she put in so much effort to ensure everything was perfect. The result was exactly what I hoped for!

I think me and Josie are going to grow old together! I've just met her once but I think she's the one for me! My cut and colour look great. She took the time to get the colour right which I really appreciate, especially after I tried MKH further west on St. Clair and the colourist picked the colour for me and shut me down when I said it was just a shade too dark and too flat for me. Josie took me seriously when I said I want a little red and she said ok but not too much! My hair looks like my natural colour, minus those pesky greys that have started creeping in. Looking forward to my touch up next month!

Everyone that works there is so kind and welcoming. I went with my 9-year-old for the first time. Hazel was so sweet - she did a fantastic job with both of our haircuts and blow dry. My daughter only wanted a trim, and Hazel did a great job accommodating her request. She even did a nice little curl at the ends of her blowout. I got a short bob with curtain bangs - and let me tell you I felt so fabulous leaving that salon. We will definitely be back!

Moving in to a new city, the search for a good barber can be a series of several trial and errors at various barber shops before deciding which one to come back to, on a regular basis.
It took me almost 2 years to find the right barber shop and deciding not to go anywhere else.
I'm not a hair expert but I've observed that the guys here spend more time with the scissors than the hair clipper--and for me that results in a better outcome of my hair cut.
Moreover, I find that the barbers here are easy to talk to, and funny.
Useful tip: from the past 5 years of booking appointments with them, I would say it's always best to check for availability at least 2 weeks ahead of time through their Vagaro link.
Did maintenance, interlocking and styling on my 12 year old son's hair. There was alot of gunk in there, new growth and some of his locs were breaking apart. He has never been a fan of going to hair dressers, but had a comfortable experience at Nature Waves and his hair now looks amazing, neat, clean and healthy. My hair stylist Ann Marie is a true professional and expert in hair cutting and styling . She knows exactly how much length I need to get cut and what style suits me best. The salon rates, too, are very reasonable and affordable, unlike other salons that charge you according to the experience and seniority of the stylist. Sometimes, even the master stylist does not cut so well, and you still pay $60-65 per cut, but at NS, you will have no such complaint . Both Ann Marie and Diane work their best to make you smile and go happy ?

My experience with Trouble Shooters Plumbing & Drains was extremely positive. The quote I received was almost half of the quote I received from another outfit. Andrew was quick to arrive and very knowledgeable in the work needed to be done. Because my outside water valve needed to be shut off, he did need to return on another day to do the work. Today, he arrived punctually and completed the work in about an hour including some additional work that unexpectedly came up. Andrew completed a detailed written report of the work done and parts used and offered a five year warranty i”on the valve he replaced and a year warranty on the other work he completed on my toilet. I would certainly use this service again for future plumbing needs.

Nick was referred to us from a family friend and we’re super grateful for him and his team. Shortly after a major Toronto rainfall, our house sewage line got backed up, and we were in a panic. Nick came out quickly, and snaked the clogged trap that was blocked and got everything flowing again. We weren’t even aware that the trap existed.
With his guidance we were able to quickly understand the scope of the problem and come up with a plan to remediate the issue. A week later it was done. We were also able to identify issues with the municipal portion of the sewer that was now in queue to resolve as well.

I had an issue with a faucet that was always loose without respect to how tightly the underlying fastening bolt is turned. The guys from iSky kept working until they had figured out the underlying cause. They are polite and efficient. I enjoy taps that turn properly now.

We had a contractor here installing new wooden soffits and they coordinated with him to put the wiring in for the new pot lights. They sourced and replaced corroded lights on our steps and new bulbs on our ramp + installed smart switches with Leviton app to control lighting with a dimmer from our phones ~ Yay! No more coming home in the dark! Also supplied & installed a new Ring security camera & floodlight by our driveway + Ring doorbell & motion sensor lights by the sides of our home ~ a real game changer for our home security! They sourced and replaced 2 bathroom fans with professional quality Panasonic whisper-quiet fans and they worked with their roofer contractor to vent one out ~ very grateful to get this done after we were horrified to discover a bathroom renovator had only vented the fan into the attic (seems it’s quite common for renovators to take the easy way and leave homeowners wondering why there is mold and paint peeling in their newly renovated bathroom). Excellent communications, hands-on training with the new technology, and problem-solving throughout. Fair prices and all work and equipment comes with a 3 year warranty ~ now try to find anyone that gives that guarantee these days! They are also certified Generac generator installers. We had one installed a few years ago, but it’s nice to know if you need one installed and/or serviced. We’re pleased we went local and found AC Electrical Contractors Ltd. for all our home electrical needs ~ we can see clearly now with new lights & security cameras and we feel safe ~ Thank You AC Electrical :)

Over the last 30 years I’ve used Custom Door & Lock Services a couple of times. The first time was about three decades ago when I had a replacement door put in, and later they came out to do my locks.
Most recently I was looking to replace my tired old lock which had seen better days. I tried looking online for a replacement but came up empty, so I gave Custom Door & Lock a call. Doug answered, listen to me, describe my issue and ask for help or if he could sell me a lock, and he had said that those locks are now obsolete. Honestly, my only options were finding a workaround, or replacing the door! And even though they couldn’t sell me a direct replacement, he took the time to explain why and suggested a product from a big box store that might work with what I already have.
In today’s world it’s rare to get a knowledgeable person on the phone, let alone someone who’s willing to help even when there’s nothing in it for them. That’s real customer service. After all these years, I can see why they’re still in business.

I was caught off guard to see that technology has advanced (for the greater good). If you remember the days when you worried that the key wouldn't work once it was cut...My problem was that I didn't have my credit card (was waiting for a replacement to a lost card). The machine does say that you can use a debit card. I tried on 2 separate days. Only my credit card worked. And though they said they take American Express... They don't.They do however give great support for any problems so take your phone inside to the kyosk. I love my new keys!

We recently hired Valiant Flooring to do our basement floors. Varant, the owner, was very responsive when we reached out, and came quickly to do the estimate (which was very reasonable); he clearly explained our options for sub flooring and moisture barriers etc. They were able to start in just a couple days, and the crew showed up on time and worked quickly. They helped us move some large items, and were flexible in working around some items (ie washer and dryer) that we couldn’t get out of the basement. And Varant was very hands-on while the work was being done which we appreciated — plus, he’s super friendly and personable!
Ultimately the work was well done and our new floors and baseboards look great. We’re happy we chose Varant and Valiant, and definitely recommend them.
Edited to add: After the job was complete, I asked Valiant where I could acquire some more of the baseboards they installed (for some built in cabinets); Varant picked them up and personally delivered them the next day at no extra cost. You just can’t beat service like that!

Me and my partner shopped around for laminate. Sunshiny was definitely the more affordable choice. William was very helpful and seemed very knowledgable. We booked to have the floors installed including baseboards. The floors looked great! We were however unhappy with the finishing touches on the baseboards (cuts, calking etc) I emailed William and sent him pictures of the imperfection, we wanted the floors to look perfect. William was very understanding and did what he could to help us. We figured out a solution and William made it happen. If you do decide to book with them, just make sure you supervise the installers to make sure the finishing touches are just how you pictures it! Shopped around and went to multiple building supply stores and flooring stores across Scarborough to pick the right vinyl flooring for my new home. I would say at the end of the day, it is the service that makes the most difference. Flooring inventory, at least for vinyl or laminate, at your selected price point, is relatively comparable from store to store. I met Sri at East Can Flooring and from the get go, Sri is such a nice guy to deal with. He was patient with my selection process, showing me different samples. I hired a company thinking that landscaping meant taking care of the garden - weeding, planting etc - well silly me. All they did was cut the grass and edge. I asked them to weed the flower beds. I like how Ms Kim Douhee clean my teeth. She explained clearly to me every process. When she did the scaling, she is very gentle and detailed. It doesn't give me a lot a pain during the whole process. After scaling, Dr Lee came to check my teeth to ensure evey tooth is healthy. Will definitely come back next time. Highly recommended!
I took my dad here. Crystal the receptionist is super friendly and helpful and she was able to speak mandarin and Cantonese which makes it easier for mybdad to understand. They are currently accepting the canadian dental plan for senior. We still had to pay a portion. I am not sure if this is the right practice where senior still have to pay out of their own pocket.

Everyone here are kind, empathetic and do the best for your pet. I have two dogs that I've been bringing here for over 10 years since they were puppies and every procedure or check up has been outstanding. From the receptionists, the nurses to the doctors. It's like a 30 minute drive for me and I only bring my dogs here.
They are so warm and welcoming and they do not operate off of making a profit. They really care about the well being of your little guy/girl. I felt as if I was talking to a close family and not a vet.
Hard to find an animal hospital that does not push you to do additional tests and treatments for your pets now a days since profits seems to be the bottom line. We been using Bellamy Lawrence for a number of years for all our pets (dogs and cat) and their service is always very professional. One of our dog was old and had heart issue since she was young. Then she got cancer and operation is an option but the vet was very honest with us that she might not wake up due to her heart condition. When we had to put her down I felt that all the staff really cared and that gave us some extra comfort.
It’s taken me quite a while to write a review but we came here some time ago with our elder cat Luna whose time had unfortunately come. The staff here were the kindest most empathetic of people when it came to dealing with our fur baby. It’s never a fun time putting down a loved one but they made the process much easier to get through. We got her ashes in an urn, her fur and her paw print for about $400. After some time, we now have a new kitty and we plan on continuing to bring our pets here.
This is a long overdue review, but I wanted to make sure I share my praises for Hanna. She groomed our Maltese/shih tzu Lemon for the later half of her life and we are so glad we found her. Lemon was a sassy, grumpy girl, but Hanna was always super patient and loving with her. We did not have the best experiences with other groomers, but I always had full confidence leaving Lemon with Hanna. She had a lot of health complications during the last few years of her life, and Hanna always took great care to make sure Lemon was comfortable and looking as good as she could. Her prices remained fair even as the price of everything else went up over the years. Hanna truly cares about her work and the dogs that she sees, which was especially evident when it was time to say goodbye to Lemon. We can’t thank you enough, Hanna ?
Strongly recommend, I will definitely come back again. This is my go to spot for my 3 rabbits!

I have been having a wonderful experience with Yogasalai. I’ve been continuously learning about practicing yoga and the benefits from my instructor Mayavan. I also had the chance to attend the Yogasalai retreat recently and it was a very calming experience. Sharing the experience with everyone who attended was very joyful and it was very rewarding.
No complaints. Different from places I've practised on the west coast. Less intense. Less spiritual. Less talking and less guidance (for beginners). Pretty accessible, otherwise.

This was my first session of massage therapy with Linda and she is phenomenal. She’s so sweet and made the whole experience feel so comfortable for me. Firstly, it was so convenient to book online and I was able to get a same-day appointment (which is so rare). She did an assessment upon arrival and then while performing the massage she was so attentive to my problem areas. She communicated with me the whole time and helped me understand why certain areas were tense. She was very thorough and helped me work through some of the muscle tension and knots but also made sure I was never in too much pain. She even made me aware of connected areas that I didn’t even know were tense! It hurt at times but I left feeling reborn. I always thought massages were a luxury but Linda helped me see that massages are actually a way to foster and maintain physical wellness. I am so glad to be able to continue my massage treatments with her.
Rouge Therapy is a very clean, welcoming place. I am a senior and I'm very happy to have found Kavita, the physiotherapist who has worked on my arthritic knees, frozen shoulder and sore lower back. After only two appointments my mobility in all these areas is greatly improving.
Amanda Paixão was extremely professional with my relaxing massage making sure I understood that I could make requests such as where I needed more attention and how strong should be the pressure she applied to every area. She also went above and beyond when, after the treatment, she gave me several tips to help me with my post workout pains, my arched feet and wrong stepping. I am extremely thankful for that appointment.

Felt so awesome after my initial visit here. Got way more result than expected. Lily was very knowledgeable about the body and identified several secondary issues before I mentioned them. Solved my long term hip flexor pain from bending over and sitting in front of computers. And identified a long term nasal congestion which western doctors thought was allergy to dust, may be from tightness in shoulder and neck muscles.
Indeed after two hours here with a whole body massage. I feel way better on my initial concern of tight neck. But also hip flexibility greatly improved. And nasal congestion relieved significantly. With competitive pricing and excellent care, and hours that are longer than most, this is an excellent place I will return to next week.
Sam has a deep knowledge of Taichi and body anatomy. He uses magical vibrating technique to break the muscle knots for maximum and effortless relaxation. I’ve been to many massage places around the world but have never seen some of his techniques. Highly recommended it’s truly a wonderful experience!

I tried them out because of price and I returned for the value. For $60 for an hour massage I got a deep tissue. It helps to tell them areas to focus and if you want hands/and or feet. I totally recommend for deep tissue.

As I sank into the magic chair that vibrated more than my brother's old pickup truck, I realized I had finally found a place where my feet could receive the royal treatment. And treat them they did! Little did I know, my therapist had the hands of a gentle giant and a foot massage technique that could make even a stone statue sigh in contentment.
Midway through my treatment, I nearly levitated off the table when they attacked the knot in my left foot that I didn’t even know existed. It was like a hidden treasure—painful yet oddly satisfying.

Great Centre, went here for pain I’ve been having due to a strained muscle. All the staff were very friendly and inviting! My RMT was very knowledgeable and ensured to answer all my questions! Also made the process very comfortable.
I had a sciatica pain in my right lower back running down to my right leg, after few treatments at the clinic, now am feeling a lot better. The treatment comprised of spinal decompression session, tecar- heat massage, treatment, pulse wave and SIS. Dr Nima has good understanding of patient needs, and the staff is really good too.
