Hope Dental was a very pleasant discovery.My former dentist had retired and I was looking to find a dentist in the west end of Ottawa. Hope Dental is in Kanata. Easy to find. Very close to other shopping. But what sets it apart is how relaxing each visit was. From the welcoming staff and relaxing waiting room to the excellent hygienists and kind and excellent dentist Dr Far. I left after each visit feeling refreshed and pleased with my visit.
They really care about promoting your dental health but you do not feel pressured to have more procedures than necessary and you don’t feel shy if you have skipped a flossing or two. They are caring and non judgemental.
I see patients younger and older at the clinic it is a full services dental office providing first class treatment to patients of all ages.The receptionist is very personable and patient and is always willing to accommodate changes in appointments dues scheduling conflicts.
I stayed with my former dentist until his retirement. I hope to remain a patient at Hope Dental for a an equally long time.
I rate this entire clinic and staff a 5/5.

Feb/March 2026. Environmental Plumbing has provided excellent service and support led by employee Lance.
A tap was malfunctioning and Lance assisted us to get the manufacturer to ship the replacement parts which are no charge. Lance even sent us a photograph of what was required and we provided same to the manufacturer. It took 2x to finally get the correct parts. Lance was on the file for sure and it was a tough job given the tap and parts. But we were all successful. Lance had great email updates, status and arrival times and easy payment.
We thank Lance in particular for his generous, friendly, competent service and Environmental Plumbing in general.

Julien is the 3rd vestibular physiotherapist I've seen for vertigo that started 7 months ago, and the only one who has made a positive difference. His diagnosis of my condition sounds more accurate than what several doctors told me, and the physio regimen he has prescribed has had a very solid impact. The dizziness has been very much minimized with the exercises he has assigned, and I'm hopeful for the first time in months that with a bit more effort I will finally be rid of the dizziness once and for all.
Donna and her Team have been working with us for several years now to open up our gardens in the Spring, to close them down in the Fall, and to provide us with a clean-up when required in between. Prompt and excellent work, and very respectful of us, our neighbours and our property. We have also explored Donna’s talent by ordering a Christmas arrangement for our front deck, which was a lovely addition to the festive season and something to be repeated. A very talented and professional lady.
Eric and Elia arrived on time, both were very polite. They assessed our problem with a leak from our outdoor tap, told us what needed to be repaired along with a couple of suggestions for routing the piping. They finished the work in a timely fashion and both reviewed what we needed to do in the future to prevent it from happening again.

I had been experiencing issues with a leaking drain pipe on the utility sink in our home. A friend recommended the Irish Plumber on Knudson Drive in Kanata. I spoke with Michael, who arranged for Thomas to attend to my problem. Thomas arrived on the scheduled date and within the agreed time. After assessing the issue, he went to work removing all of the old piping and replacing it with new piping, a strainer body, and a utility pump. There may have been some challenges; however, Thomas did excellent work, and everything worked out perfectly. Thomas was very courteous and engaging, answering all my questions professionally. His work comes with a three-year warranty against any leaks in the work that he performed. I'm a happy camper.
Dan was very knowledgeable and friendly. Really thorough inspection. Dan was punctual and very professional. The inspection report was very detailed with a breakdown of everything with photos. Chris is a wonderful hairdresser . I have been with her for over year now and I go back every 8 weeks cut and colour . Her skills with colour is just amazing she really understands what colour i am looking for and the cut. She is very friendly I love my conversations with Chris.
I am a chicken when it comes to getting my hair done by anyone! So for the past 4 years I have been doing my own hair and I let my colour go for a good 4 months. On my birthday I decided to it is time to trust someone again and Sho help me so much with that!! My hair was so scraggly, long and had a good 1.5” of salt and pepper roots. She took me to a beautiful brown then suggested to trim the ends off about 3” to take away some scraggly ends but leave it long. I took a deep breath and said you know what let’s take it to just past my shoulders. She did a beautiful long angled bob with long layers and gave me some curls! I felt 10 years younger and the best birthday I had in a long time!

My mother and I have been going to Rachel for over 15 years. When Covid happened I cut my own hair for a while, then I tried finding another hair stylist that was closer to me. Nope. No one does it quite like Rachel. She always does such a perfect job, her and her whole staff are always friendly and welcoming!

I recently saw Allaha for my make-up. She did a wonderful job. The only surprise was the price tag of $150.00. I should have asked beforehand but the website said $75 and up so I was thinking $100 since I had my own eyelashes. She came in on her day off so I didn’t complain. Just posting this point so that people know to ask price beforehand. She is lovely and very talented. I felt beautiful after she was done. I would see her again!
I've been seeing Shaun since 2020. He's a super chill guy, great conversationalist, and solid with the clippers! He and I have tried different hair styles over the years and he nails it every time. Being independent, you get a true sense of him being YOUR barber.
Have been going here a long time - nice old school barber set-up, typically decent haircuts. Make an appointment and try to avoid busy times for best experience.
Nice place but depends on the barber.. hit and miss depending on the barber. Mojy is a good one and Sam Wehbe in the past but seems like he is not working here anymore..
I payed for a high and tight haircut with a beard trim. I am retired military and my whole 10 years here going to multiple different barbers and not one could get the high and tight right but these guys did. The attention to detail was fantastic. Very professional and respectful.

Trey always takes care of myself and my two boys. Great with the kids and goes the extra mile to ensure the boys experience is always a positive one. The boys are always proud to say who their barber is.

Got these nails done just now, and they’re amazing. It’s my first time trying dip, and I love it. I’ve always done acrylic or gel, and it always feels like something heavy on my nail, but with dip, I genuinely don’t feel it. The service was amazing and kind and accommodating. My nails turned out better than the inspo, in my opinion.
I highly recommend Sophie and the team at Touch! It is a beautiful spot, and the atmosphere is relaxed, quiet with no noisy drying machines or loud talking. The dip nails with extensions were perfectly shaped and a beautiful colour. I am impressed with their attention to detail and the hand/ arm massage is very nice too.

I hired Nabil to do a bathtub to shower conversion after the first Contractor that I hired was a disaster!!! Nabil gave me a great price to fix the mess that this guy had made, and even after he ended up tearing everything out and having to start from scratch, he honoured his original price. He did a fantastic job!!!

Since 2018, Dan and crew and renovated most of my house over 4 separate occasions, most recently a kitchen overhaul. Clearly we have been exceedingly happy with Alba or we wouldn’t have kept asking them to do more work! In addition to the kitchen, Alba completed ensuite, master bedroom and powder room renos as well as replacement of all trim, popcorn ceilings, basement stairs and interior doors. The meticulous attention to detail and design ideas were much appreciated. Dan will forever be my “Reno guy”.

Dr. Rod's chiropractice sessions had played a essential role in my recovery. After taking care of the baby and long inactive period from working from home, I had a lot of aches and weak muscles that I found starting exercise almost impossible -- any activity may cause more aches.Right after the first visit, Dr. Rod had relieved my knee problems and magically relief the back pain. The effect begin to last as the sessions continue and I resumed exercise . Now chiropractics becomes my F1 garage, that it resets the spine and muscle back to neutral after work out and long working weeks (the old bad habit is hard to get rid of but I am working on it).Dr. Rod and his team are friendly and patient. I introduced my 6 yr old kid to paediatric chiropractic and he likes to work with Dr. Rod as well.
I've had several massage therapy sessions at Emendo and have always been thoroughly satisfied with the results. The atmosphere is calming and relaxing, the facilities are welcoming, and the staffs are exceptional—highly professional and attentive. The treatment rooms are kind of isolated, ensuring a peaceful experience without any distracting noise (unlike some other places where you might overhear other clients).
The only suggestion I have is to include hot towels in the therapy sessions, which would make the experience absolutely perfect.
