Our sloping yard had already been fenced in two colours on two sides by neighbours, so we faced the challenge of finally completing the enclosure in some coherent way, knowing from previous experience, too, that there are many giant boulders underground with which to contend. I did warn owner Nick about this when he delivered his very reasonable estimate, and he completed the job elegantly, siting the posts to miss the immovable rocks, fixing the panels to step down the slope beautifully, bridging our big stormwater drain, and even including a very nice lock on our side gate. The whole installation has already been tested by a big windstorm. We couldn't be happier, and it was always a pleasure to deal with the very affable Nick.
Q was amazing with my son. I showed him the logo my son wanted shaved into his fade and he did a great job! Best fade I’ve ever seen by far! He made my 9 yr old feel super comfortable and was easy to talk to. To say he’s amazing is an understatement. I was so impressed. My son wouldn’t stop talking about his hair. My senior parents experienced a terrible flood during Canada Day, and I called John The Plumber to have their hot water heater repaired. They were able to send someone the day after I called, and Cory and Justin quickly assessed the situation and replaced the hot water heater.
They also brought everything up to code in an older home and made us aware that the furnace would need to be replaced due to flood damage. When I asked Cory if they could provide a report for the insurance company, Cory took time out of a busy schedule to prepare one for us.
Both Cory and Justin were fantastic—polite, professional, patient, and respectful with my parents throughout the process. To say they went above and beyond would be an understatement. Their dedication, expertise, and compassion during a very stressful time were truly appreciated. I would highly recommend John The Plumber to anyone in need of reliable and exceptional service.

My experience with Centrum Glass & Door started when I requested a quote to replace a fogged window panel in one of my 25 year old house. I got the best price among a few local companies I had contacted. When the estimator came to take measurements, I also asked him to take a look at another window which could never close properly and kept a bad draft in winter. All previously contacted companies offered to replace the entire window. Dave pointed a small part which was incorrectly placed and prevented the window from closing tight. When the installers came, they did an excellent job: installed and adjusted the panel and fixed that other window. A clean, quick, polite. That room can finally be used without taping the window to prevent the draft plus constant extra heating. I wish I knew about this team earlier!

I have only been to the Hazeldean location once so far and all I can say is WOW! As I stepped inside, the ambiance was so welcoming and luxurious. It was a busy time of day when I came in, with multiple people checking in and out, so I stepped away from the main area until they finished with the people at the desk. Not even 30 seconds later, the owner had left the desk and gave me her full attention. I’ve been to luxury salon and spa’s before but this experience made me feel like I was the only one in the room. Their reputation speaks for itself. I’ve found my go-to!

I have been regularly going to Shannon for a couple of years. While she had worked along side surgeons for many years, she explains things so easily and well- not overly complicated or medical and I love that. She is always welcoming, her room is always exceptionally clean and if reschedules are required, she always gives ample notice. Her prices are phenomenal as well, which allows me to get repeated treatments without breaking the bank. There is never any pressure to buy the products she uses- but look at her skin, why wouldn't you use exactly what she tells you to?? Honestly, The Beauty Spot is a treasure and I am positive you would not be disappointed.

Had Bell Plumbing replace an old saddle valve with something more appropriate to feed my humidifier. Communication was excellent, he came when he said he would come, and the work done was top notch. Guy was polite and left no trace behind. All that for a fair price.

When my wife and I were looking for a renovator for our newly purchased condo we made sure to explore our options, seek references and try to find the best value. If you are reading this note I imagine that is what you are doing as well.
After evaluating bids, we received from multiple companies we decided to go with Amsted Design-Build as not only was their response to most detailed, but it was also the lowest price. Now I normally am of the mindset that lowest price is not always the way to go but Amsted also came highly recommended and had been operating a long time which to me said they must know what they were doing to exist for so long. So, we opted to go with Amsted Design-Build.
I have to say every day through the process our confidence in Amsted continued to grow. Our project manager Paul clearly had a lot of experience in the industry and was beyond helpful in taking us through the process. He explained what Amsted would do and what our responsibilities were. He gave us good solid advice on design aspects, materials, approach and so much more.
We had a clear plan and a milestone payment system which gave my wife and I the peace of mind we needed as we had heard horror stories of the experience some people have had with renovators. Weekly jobsite meetings let us see progress and give feedback for any decisions, changes or fine tuning that was required.
The team of professionals on his crew were amazing. They were always working hard, treated our new home with respect and the quality of the workmanship was top notch. At the end of each workday the jobsite was left clean, organized and secured. They made sure to do things properly. So much so that we have had almost nothing to have corrected or touched up once they were finished and we entered our warranty period. They did it right the first time which made it easy for us to move in and enjoy our newly renovated home.

Yet again another fantastic experience at ChiroActive...Dr. Brian encouraged me to look into Birkenstocks with Orthotics...and I have taken home my new patent black Birks and am walking in comfort. Dr. Trina assessed my gait after Kenzie took my gaitscan...and they encouraged me to go try on a few pairs in the stores to confirm sizes--as my feet have gotten wider since my last pair. I already have more energy and less foot pain since wearing them constantly. They honored the summer $50 off even though I ordered them before the promo. Highly recommend this family practice--you should go here. Everyone rocks!

All the massage therapists are amazing! I have been going to Kanata Massage since before it opened, starting with the first owner, Wendy. I had moved out of the area and now I am back! While away, I could not find massage therapists as good as this team! I recommend trying them all. Each one has their own technique, but they all work with you, not just going through the motions like many others.
Shelly is absolutely amazing, in finding and helping restore functionality. With herniated discs and sciatic pain, she has been very helpful over and above, with care and exercises that help improve mobility.
