I thought I had written a review a few months ago, but I forgot. I lost all my hair about six years ago due to a bike accident, which resulted in alopecia universalis. Brenda's was where I purchased my first wig, which I adored, but I completely forgot where I bought it.
I returned about five months ago, and it took a few visits for them to find something I really liked. Shannon and Brenda were determined to find me something perfect, and they certainly did. The wig was a bit outside my comfort zone (lighter than my previous wigs), so I didn't wear it for a while. However, when I finally started wearing it, the compliments were unbelievable, and now I absolutely love it.
I will definitely be coming back to them each time I need a new wig. Kudos to their perseverance! P.S. Forgot to add that when I was being rung up, the wig was $50 or so cheaper than we thought!

I am undergoing a health issue that caused my hair to start coming out. For my own emotional sanity, I needed my hair cut down to a buzz cut immediately. My regular stylist was not in, but Julie, who has the chair next to her, was so compassionate and took me in immediately, her client also was full of compassion as she was happy to let Julie take care of me inbetween getting her color and cut done.
Our first experience was a kids cut for my son when he attended elementary school in Uptown. The salon was pretty new then. He’s now a senior in college. I started using the salon within a few of his haircuts and have been a loyal customer since. Jen is my go-to now that I have embraced my wavy. She’s like a good friend now. Woody was my original there and I’ve had great experience when I worked with Amanda. You can’t go wrong with the team Woody’s built here.

I checked in online in advance and was able to get right in when I got there. The staff was very friendly and made sure they knew what I wanted before starting the haircut. Yesterday was my first visit to First Nail & Spa. I will definitely be returning. A beautiful spa that is open and airy and extremely clean. My technician, Vicky, was so nice and calming. One of my favorite pedicures. She took her time and I did not feel rushed, as I do at other spas. I also had a gel manicure and it was amazing. My nails look healthy and hydrated. The GM, Tina, checked in several times to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. First class customer service!

I have been getting my nails done here for a while and absolutely love them every single time…. But the pedicure - wow! I got off work and drove straight to see Flower for my appointment- she set my phone down, put a warm mask on my eyes, put the heat and massage on the chair and said “I’ll wake you up when I’m done” - the relaxation and disconnect from the world was worth it and her technique and massage was simply dreamy! My little piggies look amazing - I had her pick the color and even my husband noticed them! Needless to say, I won’t be booking anywhere else, with anyone else again. Thank you Flower!

That has happened only since going to Sage Salon and Laneè. Never in my life have I been complimented on my hair. I have been going to Laneé for one and a half years. I am 69 years old.
I’ve had a few services done by Melina: facials, waxing, and peels. She always accomplishes to make me feel so comfortable. I can be a very anxious person but she always curates such a calm space for me to relax and enjoy the services. I couldn’t recommend laying on her table enough! I came in very nervous about being pierced, but left a very happy lady. Caitlin was beyond professional in a really fun and reassuring way. I wanted my nipples pierced, and she not only answered all of my questions but she also made sure I was comfortable the whole time I freaked out. I was impressed by her taking the time to measure for where the entry and exit of the piercings should be as well as how large the jewelry would be for my anatomy. As soon as she was done I was so excited to see how cute they were! She also made sure I was set with good recommendations for aftercare. I'm exactly a month healed today and they look so pretty!

We had to have our main basement drain unclogged which drains out to the city sewer. He was very friendly, explained everything and worked fast. Drain flows better than ever.

Boyd Bros Tree Care was the most honest home contractor I've ever worked with. We had 6 trees removed and three more trimmed. They went above and beyond on our job and took the time to ensure that they took care of everything we needed (trimmed a few more trees that were not in our quote) at a great price. All of their workers were respectful, passionate, and hard working. They gave excellent advice post-job and we'll be planning to call again for our next trimming needs.

I can’t recommend DiMichaelangelo Family Dentistry enough! I’ve had such a positive experience over the years that I chose to take my kids here, instead of a pediatric dentist. Recently, my 12 year-old had to have a baby tooth pulled. She was very anxious about the situation, and the way Dr. Gian handled it was very impressive! He was talking and distracting her so much, she didn’t know he pulled the tooth. Next thing you know, he is sitting her back up, and she was shocked it at the speed and painlessness of the process. I’m incredibly grateful, as this will likely prevent any dental trauma down the road. Nothing but good things to say about this team!

I have been seeing Dr Reich my entire adult life. He started in the practice when I was graduating to the adult dentist, and despite multiple moves, i have stayed with him. I fine the whole team there caring and friendly. They are very easy to schedule (and reschedule) with and were very understanding one time when my reminder card did not arrive and I forgot to show up for my visit. They have good hours (even Saturday!), and are always open for questions, including a couple of billing issue's I've had with very helpful answers. Need a dentist? Make an appointment here!

The Best Dr and staff ever! Please do not get surgery , go see Dr Girgis before doing anything drastic! They are so competent and thorough in their knowledge of what needs to be done!
I am so thankful for Dr. Booher, her practice, and the whole team. Every visit is so inviting and I actually look forward to going. Every interaction with Dr. Booher is uplifting, encouraging, and most importantly, healing! She takes the time to really get to know her patients on a personal level and creates an environment that no other practice has been able to achieve. She has been a huge help in my holistic care journey and I am grateful for her extensive knowledge and personalized care. My family and I happily make a 45 min+ commute to visit her office. She is definitely worth the trip. I have even convinced my parents to become patients after being skeptical of chiropractic care for ages. I was very fortunate and scheduled a 9:15am appointment online within 10 minutes. Woke up in severe pain and couldn’t turn my head. Dr Endel gave me an adjustment and my first ever cupping session. By that evening I was on the mend and by morning I woke up with little to no pain! Thank you!!!

Dr. Eric is a miracle worker for our 6 month old and now for my husband and I. In one month, we’ve seen almost total improvement with our infants acid reflux and uncomfortability. His plan is specific to you. I HIGHLY recommend him.

My fur baby loves everyone here. Everyone is very welcoming and nice and has such a great vibe. My baby just turned one on our last recent visit, she took him in the back and I just heard them cheering for him and saying it’s his birthday month and I'm sure showing him lots of love. Love it. They are also very thorough and follows up.
We have been taking our Yorkies to Lynn and Dan for 10 years and the dogs love them almost as much as we do. Lynne has been helping me with my dogs nutritional needs as well because as she says “she wants t see them live longer too”. She’s very knowledgeable and caring and I would never consider taking my dogs anywhere else.
These folks are the best - our dog was banned from nail cuts at the vet’s for aggressive behavior but Dottie’s took her on and she’s been fine ever since. They do a great job caring for her and making her comfortable and their prices are outstanding.
I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. She does an excellent job of grooming and is very gentle with my dog and doesn't push her past her comfort level.
Lucy went in looking kind of scruffy and came out looking like a little lady. Very pleased with the results. Lucy had never been groomed before and they said she did great
I LOVE the Yoga Factory! The teachers are so thoughtful and kind and go above and beyond to build community and comfort. It’s the perfect place to escape reality! The classes are great sizes, usually between 3-10 people, but sometimes they get a bit crowded like this photo (but I still have plenty of room for my practice). It’s a beautiful location, clean, and I’ve brought many friends here.
An amazing experience, Jonathan prepared everyone with great cues, explaining why we needed to do the preparatory poses for the ultimate goal, handstands. His helpful rhetoric made this potentially intimidating experience pure joy and we were laughing and smiling at the end.
He made the challenge doable, and made the poses more malleable for all in attendance.
He taught me in my 200 hour teacher training and I hope to become half the teacher he is.
Taryn did an amazing job! I had no idea how bent out of shape my body was until I visited her. She used techniques nobody has ever used on me. I recommend her 100% whether you get massages regularly or once in a while. I’ll be back and can't recommend her enough.
By far the best massage I’ve ever had. David is very knowledgeable and tailors each massage to the individual. I will never get a massage from someone else!

This was my first visit! I can feel the work that my body needed so badly having a positive affect. I can feel the movement in my rib cage and along my spine and the tightness to my muscles has decreased. I am looking forward to making Essence Body Work a continued part of my self care.

Pam listens patiently and asks smart questions. Her massages do wonders in helping relieve pain. She works well with your insurance company too. I highly recommend her.

It wouldn’t be possible to explain how grateful I am to Dr. Mark Gittins, Meggin and Sarah and the team for giving me my freedom of movement and mobility back. Dr. Gittins described my hip deterioration as “severe, severe” 6 months before I was able to get time off work for surgery. My paperwork, treatment, the surgery itself and my recovery have been truly smooth and uneventful in a fantastic way. Nothing is perfect when we talk about the human body, injury & recovery.
