The salesman was very friendly and knowledgeable and that was important to me as they understood my request for all equipment to be installed exactly where we wanted it and to have all the lines as hidden as possible. We went with a 42k 5-head Mitsubishi hyper-heat pump system, 4 of which are ceiling cassettes, which was a lot work in the attic for them to install and takes a few days. The Beluga technicians were very understanding that we work from home and were accommodating to our continuous presence and our need for the occasional usage of our rooms for taking care of an infant and a dog and a cat. At the end of each day they took the time to clean up which was very important to us and appreciated. Their front desk was also very helpful during the process as they took care of my permits, rebates, scheduling, and warranty. The system cools perfect and it looks great as blends into the house just as we wanted. I would recommend Beluga to anybody looking for a HVAC install and maintenance“

Over the years, any time we've had an issue, it takes a dozen calls to both electricians and plumbers to find someone willing to come and look! I explained the situation to the office Mgr (?) who set up an appointment for the next day. Joe showed up this morning, found exactly what was wrong (no guessing!), and fixed it in no time. He tested the unit to make sure the heat was working before he left.

“Had an all-around good experience with Bell Mechanical from the helpful 'new guy' who answered the phone and all of my questions and especially from Marco who came and serviced the central A/C in our new home today. It turns out we had a couple of installation issues that Marco noticed right away (our plenum has no dampers to throttle airflow, and part of the drain pipe from the air handler is much too small). Marco checked everything out and promised to have a quote sent straightaway to make those improvements. I assumed we should have a cover on the outside compressor and that we might need the ducts cleaned but Marco said a cover might draw chipmunks and that the ducts look fine. It speaks volumes f both his integrity and the company's that he didn't push selling us something we don't need. The cost for the annual service was very reasonable. We'll happily have Bell help keep our system in top shape.“

“I was hired to help prepare a 100 year old townhouse for sale. It had been vacant for two to three years and needed some sprucing up. Never having owned a home, but being a life long NYC apartment dweller, I was nervous about the process of finding the right people to do everything that needed doing. Thank goodness I found NYC Brownstone first. Jack and Justin and their team are experts, honest, professional and responsive. Jack met with me and went over the entire 7 floors and we talked about what it made sense to do and what it did not. There was a leak over the door to the patio on the 2nd floor that turned out to be a big deal and was coming from the patio on the 3rd floor. The ceiling had to be ripped out and the patio pavers on the third floor had to be ripped out. Jack saved us $12K by suggeesting we not re-pave the patio, just leave the waterproof membrane once it was down since it looked good and the new owners would no doubt want to re-do it to their taste. The work site was spotless, floors and woodwork were meticulously protected, everything was cleaned up every night. Six months later, when the place was finally staged, we discovered mold on a wall. I called NYC Brownstone and they were there the next day. Well, that turned into a leaking waste pipe buried in a brick wall. Once again, Jack and Justin and the team are as responsive, professional and organized as before. If I ever win the lottery and buy a brownstone, the first thing I will do is sign a maintenance contract with NYC Brownstone.“
