“Iron Bodyfit is my Gym! Love the concept and format while I have a gym and pool in my building I’m lazy to find motivation to train for hours. Found Cindy after going through the profiles of many fitness trainers in NYC. Taking private training sessions with her has been single handedly the best decision I have made for my health. She effortlessly caters every session and the workouts to suit where you are in the fitness journey. We started building my fitness level from scratch and she has been super encouraging. She is a 2-in-1: Trainer and physical therapist. She watches to make sure my form is good, emphasizes quality over quantity and most importantly progresses the workouts in a safe manner that doesn’t risk injury in the back, spine, knees etc.Always look forward to her sessions. My friends and family have noticed the difference. Cindy always says “We are only as strong as our spine”. I’ve learned to focus on strength, mobility and overall health. Can’t thank her enough! I tried everything under the sun from HIIT to personal trainers at Blink. I didn’t even get as far as losing 10lbs. “I’ve been training with Jon for a few years now and he is amazing. I’ve taken breaks a few times and tried other workouts but I always come back! This really is the most efficient once a week workout that will give you noticeable results! Every time I work out here my friends and family ask what I’ve been doing because they see the difference! “I'm not gonna lie, this class was really hard. I'm trying to take as many classes that I can in various studios to see what I like. doing best. I've tried barre, I've tried Solidcore and now I gave F45 a shot. I have a friend who's been going there for just over four years and she loves it, so I said that if she came with me, I would give it a try. I really really liked that. there was a DJ on Saturday that made the work out really fun. The constant switching to different stations, also made it fun, just as you got tired or bored of a certain exercise, it was time to switch. You do a mix of cardio and weights. Which I also really enjoyed. I just wish I stretched a little bit more in the beginning. They have a variety of levels and a variety of weights that you can lift. My suggestion is don't try to be a hero your first time. It's OK to use the lightest weights and make sure that your form is right, and that you can do the number of reps for that particular exercise. Gradually increase your weight as you go to more classes, but don't try to be a stud on the first day. I definitely enjoyed the class. The trainers were really nice. I really enjoyed the community feel out of the class and I'm definitely gonna go back.“
