Drip Sweat is a welcoming and intimate studio that provides a strong sense of community, starting with its founder, Janice. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, making it easy for anyone to get involved in the intense workouts. The trainers, such as Raulo in the kickboxing class, are attentive, friendly, and inspiring, offering personalized guidance to both beginners and regulars. They push members to improve while allowing them to go at their own pace. The candlelit yoga class, led by a calming instructor, is perfect for all levels and leaves participants feeling refreshed and centered. The studio space is enjoyed by many, with lockers near the training room and a dark room with blue lights that help keep the focus on the workout. The juice bar, offering fresh, made-to-order juices for energizing, detoxing, or recovery, adds to the overall experience. The strong community involvement and peaceful atmosphere, combined with the well-trained and encouraging instructors, create a positive environment where everyone feels motivated and empowered. When I started working out at Drip Sweat, it had been a very long time since I had committed to a consistent fitness routine, so I was completely out of shape. The classes—especially Max’s and Roc’s—were truly life-changing for me. Since then, I’ve been exercising almost every day.
I’ve lost a significant amount of weight, and I feel so much stronger and healthier.
Unfortunately, I no longer work out there because I moved away from NYC, but Drip Sweat will always hold a very special place in my heart.
