“This was my first infrared sauna experience and I thought it was great! The facility was super clean, well equipped, and the receptionist/manager (sorry I forgot your name!) was really welcoming and explained everything to us clearly. The experience itself was unique, at least to me, and different from other saunas I've tried. In the end, I was feeling less out of breath and more rejuvenated compared to the usual feeling of overheating and gasping for breath. Being able to play our own music right in the sauna was great and made it a really personalized experience. Did an hour session to start off a relaxing Saturday morning and felt restored and energized all day after. Will definitely be coming back again!“

“I have been practicing Tantra with Michiko for a year now and I can say honestly that she changed my life. I met her just googling Tantra as I was going through a burnout and a life crisis. She has since been my teacher and my beacon in this healing and soul searching journey. She has guided me through generational trauma, mental and physical health, a sexual awakening, love relationships and most importantly the love relationship with myself. The best way I can describe Michiko is a mix between a fairy godmother, spiritual master, and a samurai. She has taught me exercises and routines specifically tailored for what was afflicting me and for my needs that have made tremendous difference in my body and mental health. The work I have done with Michiko has helped me more than years of therapy. I recommend her whole-heartedly no matter what you are going through.“

“4.5 stars but rounding up to 5 I've tried several classes at Atmananda Wellness and every experience I've had has been pleasant. Each instructor has their own style and I prefer some classes over others, but the staff is always very pleasant and welcoming of all levels and experience. Below are my reflections on the classes I've taken:1. Atmananda sequence flowThis was the first class I took at Atmananda. Amanda was teaching it. She introduced me to the Atmananda method and showed me the special mat they use (mats are free of charge to use as part of every class reservation) which is meant to teach you the proper alignment of your body for the yoga poses. Angelica was a patient and good teacher. 2. PilatesI used to take this class with Brian who is no longer with the studio. His class kicked my butt in the best way. He also had a really calm and spiritual demeanor. The class was super upbeat with good music. Even thought it was only 45 minutes, I felt like I worked every part of my body. It was a shame to see him go. After Brian left, they didn't offer the class for some time. This past Monday, I went back and there was another woman named Alison teaching the class. She has previously worked with Club Pilates. She was very hands on and made adjustments to our poses when necessary. I didn't feel that the class was as challenging though. It was just me and one other student so we got a lot of one on one attention. 3. Power sequence flowI took this class with Michelle. It's a newer class from what I understand. It was very fast paced and definitely for the more advanced yogi who wants to deepen their practice. I enjoyed the class a lot. 4. YogalatesThis is also a new class from what I understand. It's supposed to be a blend of yoga and Pilates. I've only taken it once and I thought it was just OK. I thought the balance of yoga and Pilates was fine but I thought it could have been more challenging. The instructor made a little bit of an off-putting comment about the value of yoga which I thought was odd coming from someone who teaches yoga. I haven't been back to this class. Overall, Atmananda is a nice studio. It isn't my home studio but I enjoy coming when I can. It's really spacious three rooms for practicing, 2 larger rooms and one small one. The instructors are all very experienced and they offer a nice blend of different classes, including different styles of yoga and pilates. They also have a small retail shop and vegan cafe in the front which is cute.“

Every session is different, and she uses a combination of machines and bodyweight exercises to keep things interesting and challenging. “The owner Mandy Grant is a true yogi. Her dharma talks helped carry many of us through the darkest times of the Pandemic. Zoom or in person she is a bright light. Mandy Grant has enlightened the over one hundred teachers she has trained as well through her well honed teacher training program. Her teachers are all very inspired and dedicated to upholding the high standards established by Mandy Grant in each class that they teach. There is a huge variety of classes each week as well as lots of specialty and pop up workshops and other events. Mandy was a travel agent in a past life, so she expertly puts together yoga travel excursions to various continents such as Africa where (in South Africa) she originated. Coming up Spring and Summer 2021 there should be some fun outdoor classes to look forward to as well as continued Zoom classes. And eventually more of Mandy's yoga travel packages to enjoy!“

“I have so many reasons to recommend CPPT that I'm not sure where to begin. They're welcoming, professional, and really listen to their patients. I never feel like I'm being talked down to or rushed through a session. I'm also continuously impressed with the sheer range of expertise and techniques that they use. “Great hot yoga community in Midtown Hoboken, I loved taking classes with Jeffrey, Samantha, Nina and Soraya. They are all so knowledgeable and provide positive motivation and affirmation. I've noticed that the members are more advance/intermediate than other yoga studios I've gone to but the instructors here really cater to all levels, which is perfect for someone like me who is more of a beginner. Highly recommend this studio! Just an FYI to bring your own water as there are no refill stations.“
