8404 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh“I have been dealing with ongoing health issues, for which my general practitioner and other medical specialists have provided little help beyond what is covered by my insurance. Typically, the solution has been to prescribe medication, often with side effects that are worse than the original issues. After making no progress in solving these problems or identifying their causes, I decided to explore a holistic, functional medicine approach. An acquaintance referred me to The Center: Natural Health Specialists, specifically Quinn Takei, DOM, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. The Center's holistic approach to healing is a great alternative to traditional medicine, blending ancient wisdom with modern science to create a deeply personalized experience.
As someone who struggles with psoriasis, allergies, and digestive issues, I have tried countless treatments over the years with varying degrees of success. However, Quinn took the time to understand the root causes of my conditions rather than just managing symptoms. Through acupuncture, food sensitivity testing, and advanced blood work, he developed a comprehensive plan that has made a noticeable difference in my health.
The acupuncture sessions have been effective, reducing inflammation, easing discomfort, and promoting relaxation. The food sensitivity tests provided invaluable insights into how my body responds to various foods, enabling me to make dietary adjustments that have drastically improved my digestion and reduced flare-ups. The advanced blood tests went beyond standard panels, revealing underlying imbalances and allowing for a precisely tailored treatment plan.
Thanks to Quinn's expertise and compassionate approach, I feel more balanced and healthier than I have in years. The Center's dedication to uncovering the root causes of illness and providing holistic, science-backed solutions truly sets them apart. If you're looking for a practitioner who combines time-tested techniques with cutting-edge diagnostics, I wholeheartedly recommend The Center: Natural Health Specialists and Quinn Takei.“

Graham will keep you on top of your game too! However, she always reminds – do no harm, listen to your body. Graham’s studio is very inclusive, she knows everyone by their first name and makes you feel a part of the community.“

I really appreciate the variety of muscle groups worked every class - it’s fast-paced with great music that makes the time fly by. All of the instructors I’ve met have been friendly & helpful with modifications, questions or corrections. I highly recommend their reformer classes if you want to work your whole body really efficiently and in a fun, upbeat environment. I’m always telling people about FlowCorps and encouraging them to try it with me.“

You can feel the difference during and after a session! Additionally, he couples his proven acupuncture skills with insightful mind-body coaching. You could double the stars on this 5-star rating scale and it still would not be enough to rate Dr. Gries healing impact. I am grateful to have Dr. Gries on my wellness team! On top of Dr. Gries is the amazing office manager Deana, who is always genuinely warm and kind in every communication. She is a bright light.“

After a Zoom session with Judith, I always feel balanced and capable. She regularly asks for students' input on future sessions. During class she is interactive but not too much so. The perfect yoga instructor, in my book.“

6909 Glenwood Ave STE 108, Raleigh“Finding Gratitude Hot Yoga has been nothing short of life-changing. I came in looking for a way to improve my physical fitness, but I found so much more—a community that feels like home, and a practice that has transformed both my body and mind.
From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with open arms by the incredible instructors and fellow yogis. The owner, Roman, has created a truly special space where everyone is encouraged to show up just as they are. His passion for yoga and dedication to personal growth radiates through every aspect of the studio.
The classes here are challenging yet accessible, and each instructor brings their own unique energy and expertise.
The studio is always spotless, and the atmosphere is calming and welcoming. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a complete beginner, this is the place to start or deepen your practice. I’m so grateful I found Gratitude—it’s not just a yoga studio; it’s a sanctuary for personal growth and connection.“

625 Tower St, Raleigh“Unquestionably the finest yoga teacher I have ever taken from. Over her many years of study she has acquired the skills needed to assist students in maintaining proper position to avoid injuries. Most yoga instructors cannot do this. And the icing on the cake is that her classes are fun.“
“I've been at Raleigh Yoga Center off and on for about 15 years. I began attending because I was working toward a certification program to teach children's yoga, and the program required some basic Iyengar training and knowledge. The teachers are fantastic, top notch. You will find few other yoga practitioners in the area who have such extensive knowledge of anatomy and the science of yoga. I enjoy classes with Jane and Kirsten. Details to enter poses correctly are emphasized. You will know what you are doing, why you are doing it, and how it will help you. Of course modifications are available and encouraged, as yoga should always offer. Yoga truly is for everyone.“

They will push you to grow or let you lay on the floor - just show up & take what you need. I encourage everyone to give it a try, no matter your experience or fitness ability. Arrichion will love you back.“

Red Hat Tower, 444 S Blount St STE 110, Raleigh“I recently had the pleasure of attending a yoga class at this modern and trendy studio, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I walked in, the warmth and friendliness of every staff member were palpable. It wasn't just the staff, though; the members themselves exuded a sense of community and welcome that made me feel right at home. The class itself was a unique experience. The flow of the session was unlike any other I've attended, seamlessly blending traditional poses with innovative techniques. This approach not only challenged me but also allowed me to release tension in ways I hadn't experienced before. It was as if every movement was thoughtfully designed to unlock a new level of relaxation and mindfulness.A special shoutout must be given to their incredible sound system. The music during the class was not just background noise; it was an integral part of the experience. The playlist was perfectly curated, enhancing each pose and transition, uplifting the spirit, and deepening the practice. 10/10 recommend!!“

Emily is my favorite instructor, as her sequence is constantly evolving and challenging my body. My only complaint is how crowded the classes are in January & February, though I've had a wonderful experience in their studio. I love the convenience within North Hills too!“

1028 Oberlin Rd #244, Raleigh“I booked my first session with Kimberly. I had heard good things about doing hot yoga. I've been doing yoga on and off for about 2 years. The studio was very comfortable, well, except that it was HOT . The energy in the room was very good. There were several other men in the studio, and everyone was very respectful of the space. The practice was very effective and brought me to a good place mentally and physically. They facility is impeccably clean and well managed. They have locker rooms and showers that were a nice amenity for cleaning up after your practice. They have several options and price packages. I will definitely be returning.“

“Awesome space, workout, staff and vibe. I'm new to CrossFit but have been an athlete all my life. I was reluctant about the stereotype of CF -- extremely heavy weights and hardcore but United takes a sensible approach meeting you where you are. I will be back!“
